Siobhan felt eyes on her. She lifted her head from her snuggling of the frozen pumpkin and stared back.. meaningfully. But the staring was unnerving. Did they not approve of Sir Cuddles the 3rd? Did they want to take him away from her?!



"Did...did you want to snuggle it too?" It was awfully cuddly, after all.

It was hard to take Shun seriously with that fur parka on.

“Oh fine, fine.” Hel replied, lowering her voice a smidgeon, looking back at Leo has Shun introduced her. “Ah, okay! A pleasure to meet you, Leo…the name is Hel.” She reached up to clasp the ghoul on the shoulder before she looked over Edel. “Adelle? Oh, so that is your name, eh? A pleasure as well to finally put a name to the face—“

Then she looked at Siobhan.

Hel stared for a long moment before she fished for something out of her bag and handed a scarf over to the banshee. “So that it does not get even more cold, ya? Wrap it up and then keep it the ******** away from me.” Her eyes went a bit wide. “As much as I like holding little scarelings, I do not want one.” Hel looked over at Edel and shrugged a bit. What else could she do? She then took to trekking down the tunnel alongside Shun.

"Mmm hmm," he replied, ducking deeper into his scarf and pulling his hands from his pockets for a moment to reposition his hood. West hadn't reached his limit on freezing temperatures yet, but with the chill in the air only getting chillier the farther they ventured into this tunnel, he anticipated that he might before this trip was over.

He didn't hear the whispering with his ears covered, but this whole place felt kind of ominous. "Wonder what we're lookin' for," he muttered into his collar.

Wherever they were down the tunnel, Levi began to vaguely hear voices. Ya'hear that? Her white ears turned this way and that as the ghoul peered from side to side. Could it be some'a tha'others 're someone else, I wonder. She'd learned about silence being a key factor in her stealth and invisibility training, but if it was the others, there was nothing to worry about. The voices were so muffled she could barely tell if they were real or if they were just her imagination being tricked on by the echoes of the cave. Plus, she always wanted to do this:

Cupping her hand to her mouth, Levi called down the path.

West... I think I just heard one'a them whispers say m'name. There were a few possibilities here. One, this was a student whom she knew. Two, this was a trick of some kind and angry fish were going to ambush her as revenge for all those times she'd eaten their brethren. In this icy place, that sure would come as a surprise to her. Right smart play there, thinking I wouldn't know you all would be in a place like this. Hey, she'd been attacked by them before out of revenge, so the tatzel couldn't disregard the possibility.

There was a third possibility; it was students being attacked by angry fish... or something. They might be needing help? C'mon, let's git'ahead! Gesturing for the wrath demon to follow her, Levi took off down the tunnel, looking back to make sure West was keeping up.

When she made it to the rest of the group, she skidded her boots on the icy floor to come to a stop. Oh, guess was'a false alar- Looking at Shun made her remember again. Silence. Levi's lips closed tightly into a straight line and she nodded in recognition. Well now, that hadn't been her most stealthy move. The ghoul contemplated pantomiming to ask if they'd seen anything. So that was what she did.


Now she was in her stealth mode.

"Wha...? Okay," West mumbled, ears and mouth still stopped up with scarf. He had been cautiously indifferent to her shouting, mostly because the only consequences to such actions he could see were a) death, negated by the nearby patch, or b) fighting, which... yay. He had to crane his head forward to make out what she was going on about right before she took off, but he thought he had the gist. Golden statues and strange voices shouting her name. This was getting weirder by the second.

When the voice turned out to be Shun and there were hand signals involved, West just rolled his eyes and remained quiet.

"PIDGE! HEY! HEY PIDGE!" The echoing voice drifted past the explorers as Enzo followed the sounds of other voices, especially Levi's own echos making it easy to find them. "Shiiiiiit it's colder than a yeti's tit here." He huffed, tucking his new book into his jacket as he hurried his way to catch up. "You find anythin' yet?" He was panting, the rats about his collar shivering as they huddled against his neck and he glanced about to all the only somewhat familiar faces. "Leavin' me in the dust, man. No good." He glanced from Leo to the others, tipping his hat up as he straightened, face lighting up at the sight of Shun.

"OH HEY! Shin! Been a while! What happened to your eye, guy? You gotta' be careful around pencils." He nodded knowingly before rubbing his gloved hands together eagerly, "Anyone find anything worthwhile yet?"

Enzo was just relieved to find more people he knew. Beaming, he laughed, trudging up to give Shun a hearty pat on the back, "Shun." He emphasized the correct pronunciation a bit too much, with a touch of a rather terribly stereotypical Asian accent, "Who's gonna' hear us? We already bumped off their doggy. All that's left is damn frozen 'taters."
