Kyrielle nodded as she watched Thalanir take off after his own bonded. She knew Damir felt terrible, and forgiveness would not come easy for this one. Carefully, she nudged up to him and wrapped her arms around his neck. "She'll come around eventually, Damir. Her love for you is true. She is just hurt." She sighed as she looked to the foals. The little blue one scooted closer to his sister, resting his blue dotted nose on her back. "Come now, lets show these little ones to Aila and the rest of them." She told him, swinging herself up onto his back, feeling peaceful once more.
Cecelia kept running and running, her head low as if she were charging, she just kept running even though she knew Thalanir was trying to catch her, but she just wanted to be alone. Please just go back to Kyrielle, Thalanir. I...need to be alone. She told him mentally as she continued to pull farther away from him.

Aila was in the fields, plowing, tears running down her face. She wore only a pair of pants and a thin shirt that revealed her sunburnt shoulders. A bandana covered her head as she worked out her misery. Jondayla sat off to the side with his mate and children, unsure of how to proceed, wrapped up in both his and his Chosen's grief.
Damir nodded and took Kyri and his children to Aila's land.
Thalanir stopped. As you wish, Cecelia.. I will be here when you return...Don't... don't do anything you'll regret..." He said before he felt their connection break. He felt blind as he stumbled back to Aila's, leaning against her barn when he finally made it.

Cecelia kept running, as she heard Thalanir's last words before she was engulfed in her own grief. For some reason, Cece was sure she would end up doing something she regretted, but didn't they all at some point? Maybe Damir regretted what he did, but it would still not affect her now.
Kyrielle sighed as she stretched out on Damir's back as they made their way to Aila's. The poor woman was working herself hard in the field. She noted that Thalanir leaned against the barn. You should go talk to him. She told her bonded.

Damir sighed. And say what? He is likely just as upset with me, if not more.. And rightly so..." He let his Chosen down and nuzzled his children close to his sleeping place... He looked over to where his mother usually... used to sleep, seeing her imprint still on the ground as grief welled in his heart once again, wishing he could have her guidance. She would know what to do.
Aila collapsed in the field, her head burying into her arm as she cried. She had been doing so for many days.. since the fall of Daria. The pain of the loss felt at her core.
A big, black and white female draft mare, hovered at the edge of the clearing, her violet eyes focused on the female crying in distress.

Kyrielle sighed with her chosen. He understands what its like to go through something that hurts Damir. Just try? She suggested, her mental voice filled with hope. Then, she looked around as she heard a cry and saw Aila collapse. The young girl jumped up and ran out to where the woman had collapsed, and put her arms around her, clutching the woman to her chest murmuring soft reassurances, though she knew it wouldn't help. "I'm so sorry Aila...I'm so sorry..." Her soft voice cracked as she too began to cry.

At the human's collapse, the draft female decided.. not consciously, but she decided to move atleast. She moved towards the brunette female and only stopped once she had gotten close enough. She lowered her muzzle and placed her nose on Aila's upturned forehead. You know grief, Aila... I have been waiting for you for ages. Where your body fails, I shall be your strength. When your judgement is clouded, I shall be your clarity. Whenever you feel broken and lost, and feel as if life holds no meaning, I will show you the wonder and joy it holds, and will heal and guide you back to my embrace. When the weight of the world is on your shoulders, I will carry you. I will love you, no matter your crimes, your decisions, or your fears. I will always accept you, and you shall never be alone again. Your despair will be met with my hope, and the fetters that bind you are no more. Your soul is mine, and my soul is yours, and we will never be apart, even in death. If even a hundred thousand years pass, I will always love you. My name is Maera of None, and I am your Chosen." The words echoed in Aila's head, only heard by her and no one else. Aila wrapped her arms around Maera and buried her face in the mare's neck, so soft.. like Daria's.. but this female.. was much larger.. less delicate, than her Daria had been.
Damir sighed and lay down beside his children, unwilling to move.
'DAMIR DAMIR!! Whatchu got there?" hollered a young and familiar voice as the blue colt left his fathers and ran over to Damir and the blankets.

Kyrielle sighed as she and Aila were approached by a large black and white draft mare, backing away as she should, she knew what had just happened. Rising, she walked back to where Thalanir sat and sat next to him, leaning against him.
Kristo followed his brother to Damir. The older stallion was always nice to them and he cocked his head at the two little blanket covered things laying on the ground beside Damir. "Who are they Damir?" He asked curiously.

Thalanir wrapped his arms around his mate and buried his head in the crook of her neck. "I can see how horrible it was for you when Damir cut you off... I can't imagine how much worse for Aila it is..." He murmured softly.
Damir sighed and gave a tired smile to the two colts. "This is Mona and Kamryn... my children..." He said softly.

Kyrielle nodded as she cuddled into Thal's embrace. "Though it seems as if she might have a distraction. She has gained a bonded..." The girl commented as she touched a hand to his temple. "Cecelia will check in with you, she's upset with Damir, not you. It'll be okay."
Kristo sniffed the little blankets before deciding to lay down next to the blue colored one as he tried to sneak a peak under the blanket. At that point, the little Kamryn decided to sneeze, causing Kris to withdraw his snout quickly with a laugh.

At that moment, Aila fell to the ground beside both Thalanir and Kyrielle, her eyes red and puffy. "It doesn't ease the ache.. She is not Daria...." She said softly, her voice hoarse. The big black and white female had lay down on Aila's other side, offering support since Jonda was busy keeping an eye out for danger.
"They're so little!" Kai exclaimed as he, too, poked his head under Mona's blanket as if he was trying to crawl in there with her. "I miss my blanket..." He muttered.
Mona squealed at the intrusion and scurried back from the unfamiliar foal, pressing as close to her father as she could.
Damir chuckled and rearranged Mona's blanket so it wasn't tangled anymore. "Careful there, Kai." He said softly

Kyrielle extended a hand out to Aila, her own heart ached for this woman who had always been so kind to her.
Kristo looked around at the female squeak and got curious himself. Standing, he went to where Mona was pressed up against Damir and laid down in front of her, but giving her space. He laid his head down, hoping she would come to him.

Aila sighed as Maera's big head pressed into her side. "I will be fine. Maera and I will join the king in his march against The Six. I will have Daria's revenge." She said, her voice still soft, but also hardened in anger.
Thalanir nodded as he grabbed Aila's hand. "And I will be by your side.. With or without Cecelia." He added, wondering if Cece would even want to ride now.. but he had pledged himself to the king.. there was no backing out of it for him.
Damir lay his head down and watched the foals interact, sensing no danger.
Mona lifted her nose and sniffed at Kristo, her neck arched as far as it could be.

Cecelia, far away, heard some of Thalanir's thoughts that leaked in sometimes and let her own few leak back to him, I will be there with you when the time comes, Thalanir.
Kyri nodded, "I am unsure of what I will do. I have no practical skills in which to aide the King in the cause..." She said somewhat sadly.
Kristo scooted forward a little bit, his nose meeting that of the female's. He suddenly had the childish thought of hoping he smelled good.
Kammy inched forward to where the other bigger foal stood and reached his nose out of his blanket, trying to n** at Kai's tail.

Thalanir sighed and pulled Kyri close to him. Cecelia... I already miss you... He sent back to his bond, unsure if she would get it or not. "Just supporting us will be enough."
Mona giggled as she sneezed and scooted closer to the young male, her blanket trailing on the ground below her.
Kai felt the warmth behind him and spun around just in time to see the little male snapping at his tail. Kai giggled. "You just wanna play don't you Kamryn?"
Mona heard her brother's name and swizzled her head to face her brother. 'Ryn!" She squeaked out in a small voice.

Kyrielle cuddled closer to her mate. "You know I'll always be here..."
Kristo gripped the blanket with his teeth and adjusted it for the little female just in time for her to shout her brother's name.
Kamryn giggled a little bit on his own as his sister seemingly reprimanded him, he snorted and scooted under Kai.
