--Beckys Nightmare-- Captain Silas Manner  Well, you need 10 orbs to get a CL 1 ring to CL 2, then 20 orbs to get a CL 2 ring to CL 3, and so on until it hits 10 (Or maybe it's 12 now, I'm not sure. The highest level you can be is 12 since they introduced DMS)
Your total level is determined by the average CL of the rings your wearing.
Most of the rings I'm wearing right now are CL 6, so by changing one of my rings to the CL 10 Fortune's Favor, it bumped me up by a ton. Ooooh, oh oh oh, interesting. I'll need to remember this if/when I get into zOMG. xP
Yeah, it's a good idea to remember that.
I actually prefer this style of leveling to that of most RPGs like Mabinogi, Maple Story, Diablo, etc because it gives you an easier way to raise your weaker rings. In Diablo though, you can sometimes find rare items that you have to be a certain level or even a certain strength or speed level to use, which is really nice.

Yeah, I'm a...semi-gamer. The only systems I have are a Wii and my DS,
but the only DS games I really care for are Pokemon ones o_e None of the others really interested me.
