“So sometimes murder but never theft. I see. I don’t know why you humans make such a fuse and refuse to speak of a job that you yourselves create. If you’re a mercenary then you could be hired to guard as well.” Reo watched as Luin nudged the man gently with her nose. “It’s nice to meet an honest man. Thank you for that.” Apparently satisfied Luin walked away from Thalanir like her boldness and audacity had never even happened. Reo was at a lost for words. A part of her wanted to apologize to the man, but another part of her wanted to grill Luin as to why she had done that. And still a third part of her wanted to thank her bonded. She figured Thalanir wouldn’t be so bad, but to hear the man talk she was positive he was as tender a heart as her own beloved who was so far from her side. Any fear she may had had for him was gone. Perhaps that was why Luin was the way she was. Or I could just like to make you uncomfortable bonded. Unable to come up with words for any of the ones she wanted to speak with Reo fell into the safest thing she knew offering food. If the mouth was busy it was less likely to talk. She took out a piece of seaweed and started to nibble on it with her lips alone so that her hand would be free to offer a piece to Thalanir. She didn’t say a word and figured Kyri could step in and help if she wished it.

Thalanir smiled as he pat Luin's nose when she bumped him. As the female azrein walked away he turned back to Reo. "Luin is right, there is no need to not answer a question. And she is also right about me being able to be hired as a guard... I hope you feel a little better with me around now." He answered softly. One thing he hated about his job was the fear others had in him when they found out his job. He sighed and looked over at Kyri, almost wondering what she knew about this Reokee and if they could trust her.

Kyri looked wryly to her bonded, I sure will then Damir. But as long as you returned safely, thats all that really matters. She said lovingly to him. She was kind of shocked at the azrein's boldness, but Luin did so in a way Kyri hadn't thought about. An honest man? Sure she knew her Thalanir would never hurt someone unless he absolutely had to and if they deserved it, but Kyrielle never liked the thought of his job. The way Luin had phrased it, made it make much more sense in Kyri's mind. Taking Thal's hand, she sat back down again. Knowing Damir would do as he liked, she turned back to Reo and Thalanir. "Reoakee is a healer, Thalanir, maybe she should meet Aila, I'm sure they would get along well." she stated. "Aila is a healer too, she's very kind. When we're not traveling, its Aila's that we go to. Thalanir's other bonded is there, he's just a foal so its difficult for us to bring him along."

Shrugging she offered the seaweed to Alu-lote and watched her bonded take it. “It’s not that I don’t want her not to get answers. I’ve been trying to teach her some manners. There are times to ask questions and times to wait.” Reo looked at him with a flat expression. “Honestly I don’t care what you do or don’t do in your job.” It was a blunt statement but she never claimed to be tactful. “That sad part is she really doesn’t. I can hear her mind so I’d know.” You really should you know. He could be useful. doubtful but maybe. Reo didn’t so much look as glare at Luin who was so innocently staring up at some branches in a tree seeming to ignore them all. Honestly there were times that Luin drove her to distraction. Still in a way she supposed she did feel better about Thalanir. If Luin had spoken to him and found him boring enough to stop investigating then perhaps they’d get along. She coughed feeling a blush on her cheeks and looked back to those before her. The mention of a foal caught her attention. She loved babies of all kinds. “Well I’m not much of a healer, but I can tend to minor wounds and the like.”
Seeing her bonded’s eyes light up Alu-lote laughed. “I’m afraid we’ll have to go see her now if there’s a foal involved. Who knows I might even persuade my own little ones to come along. I’m sure they’d have fun.”
