Tsubari Attacking Kesin
Reprimanding himself at the lost items, Tsubari didn't see the whip in time. It would leave a mark on his shoulder, where his shirt didn't cover. "Blasted woman! What is in your head?" Even with out a weapon, he was going to knock some sense into her or die trying.

Tsubarisk Attacking Kesisk
His tail was too close and he roared in pain as the little gold took hold of it. Lifting his wings to look at his tail and the gold, his eyes got a gleam as he teeth showed. Little gold want ride? If all went as planned, she would let go as he ran with his tail bouncing along everything on the way.

"I asked you first," she snarled, her grip tightening on the weapon that gave her a much-needed advantage. It might not have been 'fair' to fight an unarmed opponent like this, but fairness didn't matter. What mattered was victory, and survival.
Kesin lashed the whip again, finding a growing satisfaction in the sound.

A ride? That was not a bad idea, but Kesisk had a better idea of what would be a good ride. With a little roar, she made a powerful leap, aiming to land on the older wher's back.

He was prepared for the attack with the whip this time. Just narrowly missing another lash, this one to the face, Tsubari rolled to the side. "The dragonriders have protected us for longer than either of us remember, Why destroy them?"

Tsubarisk defending against Kesisk
Tsubarisk wasn't use to fighting one so small, but he could still read the signs when an attack was coming to his back. As the gold roared, he shifted just a little, waiting for her attack. He felt her claws on his wing and roared. The pain was intense, more than he was expecting, but nothing that wouldn't heal after the gold was taught to behave.

What the sharding Egg was wrong with the woman? "How could they have been using us. They deserved all they got." Maybe him being a weyrbrat helped him understand the importance of the dragons and their riders.
Even ready for the whip, he didn't move fast enough and it caught him along his face. Blood trailed down into his eye, and he had to blink several times to see what the woman would do, now.

He didn't know why he was arguing with her, he could tell by her voice it was a lost cause.
Blinded by blood he still was able to dodge the whip fully.

The young woman laughed. "Why should they be in charge? What makes them any more fit to lead than a greenrider, or a wherhandler, or someone who doesn't have a bondmate at all?"
Her lips curled in distaste when he dodged her again. Apparently she was a bit predictable, but she'd take predictable and with a weapon than up close and giving and taking punches. Holding the whip even tighter, she lashed it from another angle.
