Kenjiro didn't want any? Well, it wasn't like they couldn't graze other places... It was hard to walk away from the only other one of their kind they'd ever met though. "Thanks for the offer, but...I think we'll go ahead and clear out. Take your time with your meal," Escalus said, giving the black kirin a deferential nod. He nudged his brother's neck reassuringly, and then picked his way back to the bank of the stream and solid ground. "See you around! Next time, you won't have to save me though." The foal was all confidence on that point.

Finally, his brother was listening to him. With a brief nod of departure Kenjiro picked his way back over to dry land along with his brother and shook off what he could of the water in his feathers and fur. He and Escalus would likely be needing to fix each other's wings once they'd dried off a bit. "... Farewell." Despite being wary of the dark mare, he was still grateful to her for saving his brother's life. Even if that hadn't necessarily been the intent in her actions.

So they'd had enough of the show for now, huh? Fair enough. "I'll be holding you to that then," Keela replied back to the bolder male's remark. Well, might as well fish what was left of her meal out if the stream then. Having to hold one's breathe while eating wasn't exactly 'optimum'... She wasn't too worried about the fate of the departing brothers though. They'd figure out how to get by just fine on their own. She had, after all.
