Aged Millionaire

PostPosted: Sun Nov 27, 2016 1:00 pm

What an odd trio these guys were. A drunk, a monk, and a wily old fellow who really didn't look his age. Very strange to say the least. The monk was interesting in his own, it was obvious he was born and raised in a different atmosphere than the norm. He believed in gods, something that Kaito had really never even considered as real thing. That was something he choose to never really believe it, or understand for that matter. Powerful entities from above, that you believe in but never make any real contact with. Seemed like more of a fallacy than a truth, but he wasn't one who'd ever question someone on their believes. Besides, what if the gods were real? He wasn't about to get smited or whatever, it was just better to keep his loud mouth shut on this topic.

On the other hand, the other guy, Sai he called himself. Also one strange fellow. Strangely enough they'd bumped into him just as he was asking for a date. The weirdest part of that situation was the fact he was more worried about talking with himself and the monk rather than the woman. Ideally, Kaito figured that he would have just avoided the boys and waited until he had the girl without distraction. The weirder part was how the guy spoke and carried himself. Whatever though, this entire village was covered top to bottom with weird people, it just so happened he found two of the more odd people in the city at the same time.

"You've only visited one other time monk? Where are you from?" There was a lot of question he'd have for these two but maybe he'd go ahead and save that for lunch. Guess it sounded like he was paying for everyone lunch, so he'd have the right to ask whatever e wanted, right? "Uhhh... You guys like sushi?" Kaito smiled, scratching his head. "There's a pretty awesome sushi place right around the corner, let's go ahead and check that out!" Man, sushi was the best. Kaito couldn't think of a better meal. His mouth was watering just thinking about it! "Follow me!"

It was safe to say Kaito was about starved, it was mid day and he hadn't eaten a bite yet. After walking nearly two blocks, they'd arrived at their destination. The trio entered the restaurant, and were quickly greeted by an older lady at the front. "Just the three of us, we'll take a booth." She smiled, grabbing some menu's and sat the three down. "Ugh... I'm starting to sober up a bit. Sorry for being a bit of a d**k earlier. Once I get drinking I do't really pay too much attention until I'm trashed." Kaito burped followed up with a little gag. "Yeah I'm gonna need some water to drink please." The older woman took the drink order and left the three alone. "I'd look into the the clam sushi, it's delicious!" Kaito yawned, thinking back to what Sai said earlier. "So, you said something about a team earlier right?.. Guess I didn't really think about that, but I will need a team now that I'll be living here again. Honestly I don't know anyone else here anymore besides you guys so... I guess I'm down if you guys are down." Kaito leaned back, waiting to hear the response from the other two.

"Sai." Hajime repeated, "There's a name with history behind it." It was true. Hajime had seen that name show up again and again in his history books. Due to the nature of shinobi secrecy, it was hard to discern whether the same person had been present for so many major events, or whether there was an extensive lineage of like-named people with similar skills. To meet someone going by that name was an omen- a sign, Hajime felt. There seemed to be forces at work beyond his locus of control, and they wouldn't be ignored.

"Ah- yes. Our business has concluded." Hajime replied with a stern, studying look, "And I'd welcome our teaming up. You two are the first ninja I've met in town- and it would appear that we're of the same rank. My name is Hajime Takenaka."

Hajime addressed the drunk, "Yes, I once came with one of the elders to visit those same offices, to meet with your- rather- our Hokage. I come from the Fire Temple, in a part of Fire Country, far from the Village Hidden in the Leaves. I'm not sure how familiar you are with this country's history, but in a long-past age, our monastery produced one of the Fire Daimyo's Twelve Guardian Ninja." Hajime decided to leave out the grimmer aspects of it's history, like when a vile bounty hunter and a follower of Jashin broke through the Iron Wall seal and slew all but four of their number.

At the sushi house, Hajime removed his sedge cap and took as seat on the inside of the booth, and put in an order for a kappamaki- a maki roll filled with cool cucumber, instead of fish. While the advertised clam was likely very tasty, Hajime was vegetarian, like all practicing monks.

"How interesting. Two strangers to this town, now forming into a team. Sai, are you a stranger to the Village Hidden in the Leaves as well, or are you a local?"

The lady behind the front desk looked at him with a quirked brow, wondering how this man's story checked out, but after she had looked through her files, she managed to come across the curious teenager's story. It seemed to check out, through and through. She nodded to him, before standing from behind the desk, working her way around to look him over, stroking her chin. "You certainly seem sturdy enough. I will give you that. If you have training in the use of Chakra, no matter how slight, you should have at least some sort of skill. Show me." The woman stated, and she took him around the front of the desk and outside, around the back of the building, though it was still in clear view from the inside of the office through a window.

Haikyo took a deep breath, preparing himself as the woman lined herself up along the opposite side of the yard, and she told him to come at her with everything he had. She directed him to the weapons rack at the side of the yard and instructed him that if he could not make her sweat, he should not be trying to become a ninja at his old age. Haikyo's eyes narrowed at the woman's prod at his pride, and unfortunately he rose to it. He walked over to the rack, grabbing a hefty katana from it, and then he stepped forward, gripping the weapon tightly in his hand.

When he and his proctor were standing ready he immediately rushed forward, anger at his pride being prodded driving him to attack first. His sword arm lashed out with blinding speed--or so he thought it was. But even with such a perfect cut--a cut he would have been proud of--the enemy stepped backward and bent her torso backward, the blade cutting over her body mass harmlessly and hitting nothing but air. Immediately the proctor's body lashed forward, her body moving faster than Haikyo could track. Her fist landed square on Haikyo's face, sending him sprawling backwards, trying to catch his own feet beneath him.

He reached up and touched his cheek as he felt the pain radiate through his bones and muscles. "Is this your first time being hit, boy?" The woman asked with a certain tone of interest. "Yes.I have never participated in a battle...merely observed. Though through this observation, I have learned much." The woman began to laugh as she looked at the teenage boy standing before her. "You've learned nothing." She stated coldly, and then she lashed forward, appearing in front of him as if she had teleported there and then slamming a hand down in a karate chop action toward his neck. The blow, unfortunately landed directly in the crease of his neck, and he felt his body crumple immediately.

When he came back to, she was slapping the side of his face, and as his vision cleared, he realized he was still sitting in the registration office. She had knocked him out so easily...he hadn't even been able to show her his abilities...he had not channeled chakra into his body at all. But...then again, she had told him to come at her with everything...he had not used his full strength at all...and it had become his downfall. He sighed as he stood up, bowing to her. "Perhaps next time. I will give you one more shot...when you're feeling ready." She stated, with a smirk. Haikyo bowed to her, stepping out of the office and sitting down, pondering how to approach the situation in front of him.

He looked around himself from the bench he had chosen to sit at, watching the people as they came and went. He knew no special skills...it was true. His parents had refused to ever truly train him in how to use their skills...and he wondered why that was. If they wanted him to discover his own way...his own path. But he felt the intimate connection of chakra and soul...and he could not ignore that. Though this did not mean he had to use it the same way that his parents did. He wondered...for the first time. How he could use a new, completely original skill, to defeat the obstacle in front of him. If he even had the ability to create such a thing.

Juugou watched as Grunnard prepared the desk by unrolling a large scroll with a jutsu formula inked in a circular pattern. The librarian then placed his palm in the center of the circle, causing a fish to appear with *poof* of smoke. The young Aburame was familiar enough with fish to see that it was more or less fresh, though the eyes weren't as shiny.
"Alright. Show me what you can do, young Juugou." said Grunnard, gesturing toward the fish laying on the desk. Juugou nodded and walked closer. The smell of raw fish met him as he took his place by the desk. Placing both hands on the wooden surface, the young Aburame closed his eyes and began to concentrate.

He focused on the hundreds of tiny insects currently laying dormant over the skin of his arm and mentally commanded them to start sucking some of his blood. Grunnard's eyes widened as he saw red bubbles the size of tapioca balls appear on the boy's skin, and widened even more when the bubbles began to glow with the greenish hue of medical chakra. The bubbles then sprouted insect wings and flew the short distance just to land on the fish. The insects then bit down on the flesh and inject the blood.

After about a minute the insects were all deflated and the fish was radiating green chakra. The glow subsided shortly and both Juugou and Grunnard looked down expectantly at the still body of the fish.
"Huh." said Juugou in a disappointed tone, "I was expecting something to happen faster." The librarian stroked his chin.
"Well, you just tried to perform a blood transfusion on a fish." he laughed. "I would be even more surprised if it had wor-" The fish's tail slapped Grunnard mid-sentence as its body began to spasm into life, causing Juugou to chuckle at the irony. The librarian quickly sealed the fish back into the scroll before it wreaked any havoc on the things on top of the desk.

After a short discussion and encouragement. Grunnard had given Juugou a written recommendation to take to the Ninja Registration office so he could formally become a Genin and begin his career as a field medic. The young Aburame was across the office when he noticed a man with a pony tail wearing robes sitting on a bench. His face and neck were bruised and he didn't look very happy.
"Hey, are you okay?" he asked the robed stranger.

Haikyo was still puzzling everything out in his own mind, trying to get a grip on what he could or could not do with himself. He needed to figure out how to pass this test--how to fight with his own style and skill. He had known that being a ninja was supposed to be rigorous, but he knew nothing about the lifestyle. He had not been taught any true methods of controlling his chakra. His parents were not ninja--they merely manipulated chakra as ninja did...he had not been taught how to impress or defeat someone like the lady who had just made easy work with him in that damned combat exercise. It was the first time he had sustained such a strike, and she had not held back...or if she did, then she was far stronger than he could have even imagined.

As he was thinking, however, he was approached by someone else--the footsteps as he approached the register's office were easy, but then they shifted, and the boy began to come toward him instead. When he spoke, Haikyo stood from his place, where he was seated. He didn't realise how badly his neck or face had begun to bruise from the woman's strike--but he was aware, embarrassingly so, after the young man had asked him if he was okay. He bowed to Juugou, and upon raising himself from the bow he nodded. "Yes, I am alright, thank you. I was just, well..." He began, scratching the back of his head in embarrassment. "Put in my place, I suppose you could say. The proctor to allow me entrance into the ninja ranks of your country...well, she's tough, and she says I only have one more chance to wow her. So, I am trying to figure out how to define my own combat styling...to use my parents' teachings to forge my own way. It's a lot, however, considering I have only just arrived here a few days ago." He stated, heaving a sigh. "Are you a ninja, here, in the Land of Fire?"

As Juugou approached, the stranger rose from his seat and bowed, stating that he was alright and thanked him. The stranger also added that he had been trounced by a female proctor administering a combat test for entrance into the ninja ranks of... The young Aburame studied the stranger closely as he recapped a brief version of his story, cementing the fact that he had come from somewhere abroad when he asked Juugou if he was a ninja yet. Today's proving to be eventful Juugou mused to himself. The robed man seemed very embarrassed about the whole ordeal. One more chance to impress the proctor or he would be barred from attempting again...

"How is it that you fight?" asked Juugou, stroking his chin as he thought of a way to assist the newcomer, "Do you use martial arts, weaponry? How was it that you lost to the proctor?" These were questions that needed answers in order for him to provide any real insight to Haikyo's predicament. "No i'm not a ninja, at least not yet." he replied to Haikyo's inquiry, "My goal is to become a combat medic in the field. I'm not really good at fighting, but i do have some knowledge of the body's anatomy." There was something about the man's manner of speech, choice of words, and way he carried himself that prompted the young Aburame to ask, "By any chance, are your parents Samurai from the land of Iron?"

Haikyo saw the interesting look within the man's eyes as he spoke to him. He felt as though he were being judged in a way. Perhaps there was something strange about his mannerisms. He truly was embarrassed that he had failed his test. He had thought that watching his mother and father doing their jobs...would have taught him so much more than it had. Why, if it would be so difficult for him, would they not have taught him themselves. To practically train him in the methods of their work. The only thing they had ever shown him was how to connect his chakras and his soul...the rest they told him he had to figure out on his own. The way he wished to help people around him...to save people's souls and touch the lives of the people of this world. His mother had been the healer--his father, a combatant, cleaving his foes with his sword...but he felt as though he did not gravitate toward either of those things.

Then the man asked him a peculiar question. He stiffened immediately. 'How is it that you fight?' The question was simple, to say the least. However, it confounded him completely. "Well...to be honest. I don't. It's a very long, convoluted story. My father and mother perform rites over battlefields. They save the souls with special...jutsu, I suppose you could call them. They said they are different, but it seems comparable to the shinobi arts. They instructed me to combine my chakra with my soul...to create a tangible energy out of my soul. But not how to effectively use it." He stated, shuffling in place once again, feeling as though he were giving the wrong answer at a spelling bee. The man began to ask more questions about his fighting style, and he waited for him to finish speaking before he spoke again.

"Well, it is good to meet someone on common ground with me. I was unsure if I would be the only one embarking on this new journey. I know that I am considered old for it, but I don;t suppose I am all that much older than yourself...a couple of years maybe." He stated, stroking his chin. He had to think about it--to really figure out how to respond to the questions about his fighting style. "My father fights with a sword...I have seen him using it many times. However...I feel as though it is not my strong suit. I always felt more comfortable with my hands...so I suppose some form of martial arts would at least be an accurate start." It was at that point that his full attention locked onto Den's. "No. My family is not from the land of Iron. They are from the Country Hidden in Rain. They tend to the battlefields there...as they always have." His serious tone was rigid and firm. He had a bad poker face.

"I am very sorry for my lack of manners. My name is Haikyo. Haikyo Yumi. It is very nice to make your acquaintance. Do you think...that it is perhaps possible to teach myself martial arts? To teach myself how to fight properly? I don't know that I can do so well enough to defeat a proctor. I don't even know the first bit about actually using the soul energy that I can create." He was getting more nervous at this point, and he knew that he was likely asking questions that this man had no way of answering. But...perhaps he had met him for a reason.

Juugou wasn't entirely surprised when the robed man revealed that he wasn't able to fight. To be honest he wasn't any good at fighting himself, but he was agile for his age. The young Aburame listened intently as the foreigner told his story. Apparently his parents were some kind of Samurai Priests that held ceremonies over battlefields aimed to save the souls of the fallen. The next bit did, however, surprise him a bit.

"To combine your soul with your chakra..." Juugou repeated slowly to himself. He never really gave much thought to the topic of spirituality having been raised in a household of medics. The sciences were his strong point but there were things that science couldn't explain fully, like consciousness and everything related to it. He continued to listen until the foreigner was done speaking and at length introduced himself as Haikyo Yomi.

"I believe," began Juugou thoughtfully, "that chakra and what's considered to be the soul are two opposite sides of the same coin. Chakra would be the physical aspect because it can influence the material world, whereas soul is the spiritual and can influence the internal. If you were to find a balance between those two you may be able to activate this power of yours." The young Aburame hoped that his explanation would be enough to give Haikyo something to help fill in the gaps left by his parents' seemingly inadequate teachings.

"Here in the leaf there's always someone joining the ninja ranks for some reason or another, though meeting you has been quite interesting." Juugou truly was warming up to Haikyo's presence. It was like having an older brother with personality, not a clone of his parents and their ideals. "Old? You can't be much older than nineteen, twenty at most. I'm currently fourteen." Hakyo went on to explain how his father was a sword user. but didn't personally like it and entertained the idea of being a martial artist. "Why not try using kunai? They're versatile and small enough to swap between them and your fists." It was when Haikyo got to his origins that his disposition changed momentarily. "Sorry, i didn't mean any offense. It's rare to hear of active Samurai in a predominantly Ninja country."

"It's a pleasure to meet you, Haikyo-kun. I'm Juugou. Juugou of the Aburame Clan. You don't have to be so stiff. Breathe!" said the young Aburame with a chuckle. "I think you can do anything you put your mind to. After all, the 7th Hokage fulfilled his dream of being recognized by the villagers, and he started out as a trouble-making orphan." That story, among others, was behind Juugou's drive to join the ninja ranks. The chances of anything world-changing happening in the confines of some clinic were very slim. He frowned at Haikyo's self-doubt. "You need to have some more faith in your abilities. Sure, a proctor is a hurdle, but you can take what you learned and use it to your advantage for the next time."

While he spoke with Juugou, Haikyo found himself enjoying the boy's company. He seemed thoughtful--genuine. Someone that he could trust in. He explained the need for Haikyo to find the balance between the physical and the spiritual energies...this is true. Haikyo had always instinctively summoned the energies that he weaved--so the ability to break it down further into the direct path to controlling it helped, certainly. Haikyo smiled slightly when Juugou spoke of the fact that there were always others joining into the ninja world--that he wasn't alone in that. He laughed at the boy's comment about his age and he nodded to him. "Eighteen. Though the beard does age me, slightly, I must admit."

He made a comment about kunai--using them and switching between them and his fists, and he brought a hand up to his chin. This young man had just set him to motion on something that might help him--something that might be the difference between him losing the fight with the proctor, or being able to win it. He just had to properly formulate his own methods of fighting. He saw the look on Juugou's face when he noticed Haikyo's reaction, and the older boy felt bad about being so stern. He leaned in close to him, as if to show him he was telling him a secret, and he took a deep breath. "My family are defects from the land of Iron. The samurai would murder them on site. They did not see eye to eye on my family performing rites for all corpses, and not merely our own. I keep that...to myself. I would appreciate you do as well." He stated with a small smile, hoping to ensure the boy knew he was not upset at him.

"Thank you for your pep-talk, though, Juugou. I needed the boost...so let me show you a bit of what I can do. What it looks like to materialize physical and spiritual." He stated, holding his hands out in front of him and concentrating for a moment before he allowed the chakra in his body to begin mixing--seeping into the fluid waters of his souls energy as well. He took a deep breath as he focused on finding the balance that Juugou had spoken of, and then he stood straight up. He looked completely and totally the same. Then a smirk appeared in the corner of his lips. "I want you to do something for me, okay? It might seem like an odd request...but strike me. Don't hold back, but also be careful...you might want to use a weapon. Hit me...right here." He stated, holding his arm out, and using his other arm to point at his own forearm. He rolled his sleeve up so the arm was clearly visible, and then he grinned as he looked to Juugou, nodding, as if to say--go ahead. This would be his trump card. What he had thought up from Juugou's words about switching.

The fist was the rock--defensive and strong. The kunai was the blade--sharp, and deadly. To fight...he would need to be able to switch between these two methods seamlessly. When Juugou struck him, the boy would feel as though he had hit rock, and pale green traces of light--like a grid of electricity, would trail outward from where it had hit, dissipating and causing almost no harm at all. When it really worked, and he didn't feel like his arm was broken, his grin erupted even larger. "Progress!" He cheered with a laugh. "Say, Juugou...when I get done with my test, and you become a ninja too, lets stick together, eh? I could use a friend around here."

Juugou was happy that Haikyo was beginning to feel at ease around him. As the conversation progressed the older teen seemed less tense and even smiled. Haikyo laughed when the young Aburame overshot his age, revealing that he was in fact eighteen years old, adding that his facial hair did make him look slightly older. "That much is true." chuckled Juugou, "But it suits you."

The young Aburame watched as Haikyo began to really think about his suggestion about using kunai and hand-to-hand combat interchangeably. The Yomi seemed lost in thought for a few moments as he ruminated things that could be. It was when the conversation reached the point when Juugou had inquired about his family's origins that Haikyo's demeanor changed. He paused, as if unsure of whether to say something, took a deep breath then leaned closer to Juugou with a hand covering his mouth. It turned out that the Yomi family was essentially a fugitive clan from the land of Iron, and returning to their homeland would essentially spell certain death. All because they refused to cater to their own corpses. Haikyo stated that these details were some he really kept secret. If his family was that notorious just for their ceremonial practices it wouldn't be a far stretch to assume there were bounty hunters out there keeping an eye out for the young Yomi. "Your secret is safe with me, Haikyo." whispered Juugou with a smile.

"You're very welcome." replied the young Aburame when Haikyo had thanked him for his input. The older teen then offered to show Juugou what it looked like to merge the soul and chakra "Alright, let's see it!" The young Aburame watched as Haikyo held out his hand in front of him and seemed to concentrate. Nothing seemed out of the ordinary after the older teen finished whatever preparation he had done, but he smirked and asked Juugou to do him a favor and strike his forearm as hard as possible. Even going as far as rolling up the sleeve of his robe and pointing at the target area. "If you're sure of this i guess i can show you a bit of what i've been working on as well. It's not ready for trial on others, but i think i could use this situation to see how effective it currently is on me." With that said, the young Aburame raised his own right arm so Haikyo could see what was about to happen. "Just so you know, if you're squeamish about blood or insects you may want to look away."

One of the tiny insects on his skin bit down and began to draw on his blood and chakra. At first only its abdomen expanded, but then the insect also began to grow in order to keep up with its growing belly. Soon there was an almost spherical insect the size of a handball perched on Juugou's arm. It glowed with green medicinal chakra and its body pulsed with the young Aburame's heartbeat. The blood that was ingested by the insect then began to be injected back into Juugou's arm until the insect was empty and fell off. Unfortunately the bugs would die once he used them in this way, but this variety bred extremely fast and there were already hundreds of eggs in waiting. The muscles on the teen's arm and chest felt like they were becoming stronger, as the enhanced blood worked its way back into his system. These effects wouldn't last too long so once Haikyo nodded Juugou took a fighting stance and launched his fist at the older teen's arm. He was not expecting to hit what felt like a wall. The moment his fist connected with the Yomi's forearm, Juugou noticed what looked like a green web expand and dissipate from the point of contact like some kind of force field. Haikyo himself didn't even flinch. The older teen was visually overjoyed at his accomplishment while Juugou massaged his poor hand. Luckily nothing was broken, but it would definitely be sore for a while. "Sure thing!" replied Juugou when Haikyo asked if they could be friends. "I think we'd make a pretty neat team." he added with a smile.

Haikyo had never really experienced the interactions that he was having with the younger boy. He had been kept home and deprived from his peers for years. Sure he had been able to go out into the village, sometimes, but he was kept away from other ninja, and only allowed to mingle with the children of regular families. These visits were usually due to his parents needing supplies, as they lived farther out from the village than most. They might stay for a dinner with family friends, and then they would go back to their solitude. His parents had never been huge talkers, either, so he was a very ruminating, quiet man, most of the time. However, he did know that there was value to making friends when it made sense to do so. When the boy told him that his beard suited him, his hand instinctively rose, pensively stroking through the hair on his chin before he nodded. "I hadn't really thought about that...but, I am glad it is not ill suited at the very least." He said with a chuckle.

When the boy told him that his secret was safe with him, Haikyo nodded, thankful that he had not issued his trust to the wrong person. Surely, the boy seemed trustworthy, but there was very little that enough coin could not persuade most people to do. When he asked the younger man to hit him, the teen seemed like he was apprehensive at first, but then he decided that there was something that he could test out. He warned Haikyo that if he was worried about blood or bugs, he should turn away. That's when it clicked. Aburame. It was the clan with the insects he had heard of before. He was sure his father had explained their clan before, but he had long forgotten those teachings. Then a bug seemed to crawl out of nowhere, and it sat on the boy's arm for some time. Haikyo was about to ask what the boy was doing, when he noticed the bug begin to swell, growing slowly at first, but then exponentially larger, until it was swollen and glowing with energy. Not long after, the bug began shrinking--injecting its energies back into the boy.

When Juugou unleashed the punch, he hit the reinforced section of Haikyo's arm, and as the attack landed, the web of pale green, shimmering light danced across his skin like tron bikes racing around his forearm. The boy massaged his hand after the contact, obviously having hurt it a little, though nothing too intense. "Sorry about your hand. But, that was a hell of a punch. Very respectable. I have to say, that insect stuff your clan is capable of...is quite interesting. And you say you're working on the ability to use that kind of bug on someone else, too? That would be...something I'd be willing to try." He said with a smirk, imagining his own strength increased like the punch Juugou had thrown, and increasing his own strength and durability with his soul energy. They could really create an unstoppable force!

Haikyo grinned when Juugou said he would like to be his friend, and he stuck out a big thumbs up as he turned toward the registrar's office. He had to get into this ninja world...and he was going to learn. He was going to teach himself their ways, and he was going to succeed in them, by fusing their teachings, and those of his family. Juugou had inspired him to learn their ways, their way. Obviously it held some sort of merit. He wondered if there was a reason his parents had sent him to this country, instead of his own, after all. "A great team. Thank you, Juugou. You've really cleared up a lot of questions I had about my own path...I look forward to working together!" He said with a genuine smile as he looked back to the office. "I don't know if you'll still be around when I am done in there. If not, I better see you around soon, kid." He said with a full grin.

He turned on his heel and walked back to the registrar's office. The woman was waiting behind the counter still, in the quiet room. She smirked at him when he walked in, and she quirked a brow. "So...you think that you've got what it takes to get through? I didn't think you'd be back so soon. You young ones never learn, huh?" Haikyo merely smiled at her and stuck his hands firmly to his sides, bowing toward her. "As I had said before, ma'am. I learned much from my parents." He stated, smiling as he led himself to the back area, even before her, leaving the registrar flustered. She stormed into the back room with narrowed eyes that spat fire.

"You could barely even hold your sword properly twenty minutes ago, and you think now you're going to be fine and dandy? Don't flatter yourself." She growled as she set herself on the opposite side of the area. She motioned for the weapons, and Haikyo shook his head, entering a fighting stance of his own. Was she being mocked? The anger on her face suggested that she thought so. It was her this time that came rushing toward him and Haikyo immediately focused all of his energy and unleashed it towards the surface of his skin--imbuing his skin with his very soul. When the woman's hand landed strong against the crook of Haikyo's neck, the green cyber-webbing exploded around the area of impact as his soul pushed back against the blow, creating a rigid surface. When it impacted, the shock showed on her face, as she was completely unprepared, and then immediately, Haikyo swung a massive punch toward her gut.

The woman vanished, sidestepping in a blur and bringing her hand down so that her fist was pressed against his cheek without punching him. "I was wrong. You improved. I was arrogant, and made a mistake that could have been my life in the field. You pass." She stated with a smirk, tapping him on the cheek and chuckling as she nodded to him, handing him his genin headband. He looked at it with a smirk and he took a deep breath. This was the beginning. He thanked the woman, bowing to her, and promising that he would not disappoint. And when he left the reistrar's office, he looked around to see if Juugou had gone or not.

Shiro sat up sluggishly in his bed, both hands planted firmly over both eyes. Even without looking he knew that any moment now his alarm would ring and that he would have to get up anyway. He rolls over out of his bed in one swift motion, landing square on both hands before pushing upwards to fling his legs above his head and back around to the floor. He throws his arms up over his head to stretch out the lingering remains of his sleep coma. Today was the day, the last day. After this no more academy. Assuming everything went well today he would be receiving a real headband and placed on a squad and sent out to do real missions. So far, most of his class sessions had been focused on studying. As a medical ninja in training, there was far more to be learned from scrolls than from chucking a shuriken at a dummy ten times in a row. Still, he knew that there was no way he would be making it out of the academy without some sort of physical display. The only and only thing that brought him event the faintest of worry. Still, Shiro wasn't one to dwell, the last thing he would do is psych himself out before he even got there.

After taking some time to get himself bathed, clothed, and fed Shiro heads for the entrance of his clans estate, waving back to his mother overhead as he makes his exit. He gazes up at the bright shimmering sky with a heavy grin stretched across his face. He wanted to contain it, to play it cool like it was just another day. But deep down in his heart, he was more than eager to get to class today to finally graduate.

Before too long Shiro rounds the final corner, reaching the Konoha ninja academy and scurrying inside to join what remained of his graduating class (a few others already having received their headbands and be placed on their teams already). Class would be starting soon, and he had no intentions of being late. Rather than hang out outside under the trees as usual, Shiro heads directly inside and takes a seat near the middle of the class. On the board written in chalk a general outline for today's final lesson. Written in big thick letters where the words "Combat Training!", just as he had suspected, in order to graduate he was gonna have to display some sort of combat prowess, medical ninja in training or not.

Slowly NIsha crawled out of bed weakly, yawning as she made her way to the bathroom, turning on the shower as she woke up more hearing the water pouring down, placing her clothes in the laundry hamper before entering the shower, feeling the water on her body and cleaning herself waking her up fully, as she finished up she took a deep breath to calm herself down a little, it was finally here the final day of her academy life hopefully, everyone that passed today would become genin and move onto the next stage of their ninja training.

Nisha signed deeply as she enter the kitchen, Kazuki smiled as he looked at her, then pushed a plate of food over to her, it was toast and eggs and a green smoothie, the smoothie was a combination of medical herbs that would help with digestion and banana, after years of having to drink these Nisha rather liked them, and happily started into the meal. "So you looking forward to graduation Nisha?". Kazuki said with a smile as she began on his meal next to her, Nisha paused for a moment to look at him. "Yeah, but I am not really very good at the practical stuff still and my jutsu's are pretty weak, now that I am here and I am not sure what I am going to be the test I am a little worried". Nisha said a little down on herself as she spoke her feeling aloud, Kazuki smiles a little and patted her head before taking the now empty plates. "You will be fine, you already overcome a lot to even be able attend the academy you'll be fine, and when you pass we celebrate when mum and dad get back, now get going or you'll be late". Nisha smiled a little and hugged her older brother before heading off to the academy.

Nisha was was still nervous about today, she still wasn't sure about herself, as she was weaker then most of her classmates when it came to the physical parts of the training they had done in the past, but she had done well with the theory work for the class and that was how she was able to make it this far, but the practical part of lessons had always been her failing. She took another deep breath as she entered the academy, calming herself as she walked into the class room noticing some of the other students had arrived, she took her normal seat near the window, and looked around the rooms to see who else was here and then notices the board and signed heavily combat training, 'Why of all things combat training, well it makes sense combat was meant to be something that came up a lot while working as a ninja'.

Shiro rotated in his seat just as the final students began to pour into the classroom. He had spotted her when she first walked in but was so focused on contemplating what the final test had in store that he hadn't made time to say anything to her at all. He seized a brief moment to do so just before the instructor made his entrance as well. "Good morning Nisha! After today we will both be real ninja ya know? Our comrades are sure to count on us a lot in the field. Do your best." He offered her a friendly smile. The two weren't particularly close but still, they were classmates and they were clanmates, which meant that ultimately he wished to see her succeed and hopefully she thought the same towards him.

"Good morning students. Though it brings me sorrow to see you all go, I am very proud to announce that today each and every one of you will have the opportunity to move on from this place. For those who succeed, I will no longer be your Sensei, but that doesn't mean that you can not turn to me in times of need. Now with that out of the way, in front of you should be an envelope with a number inside. For now please keep the envelope sealed. In a moment we will head outside and prepare for todays training. Afterwards a final test, followed by registration and info regarding team assignment. Understood?"

"Yes Sensei"
Shiro proclaimed in unison with the rest of the class. Shiro's eyes fell to the yellow envelope sitting on his desk. If he really wanted, he could peer directly through the material to reveal what was inside but doing so discretely was out of the question. Surely Sensei would notice if he activated the Byakugan in class, doing such a thing could possibly result in failing the final test, a horrific outcome in his eyes.

"When we get outside I would like you to be sorted in parallel formation. That means one in front of another. Two even rows facing each other. Once I confirm that everyone is in their proper positions. I will provide further instruction. Move it!"

"Yes Sensei!"

With a bit of a shock as someone spoke to her bringing her back to the world from her own mind, the worry and nervousness fell away for a moment as she looked over a Shiro as he greeted her, she and Shiro had worked together during their time in the academy a few times, normally with some other students. "Good morning Shiro, yeah it is a bit nerve racking, here hoping it isn't too bad, so yeah best of luck, though you have done great though the year so you should be fine, I've always had issues with the physical stuff". Nisha said with a friendly smile but she still had the nervous tone to her voice as she spoke, it was clear that she wasn't confidante in her abilities.

As the teacher enter the room and began speaking, Nisha took a deep breath calming herself down a little and she listened to them speak, she took the envelope in her hands and look over it before looking back up at the teacher, replying with everyone as they finished explaining what was going to happen. "Yes Sensei". She looked at Shiro again as he looked at the envelope judging by his expression she guessed he was thinking of something, likely the same thing she did as a person able to use the Byakugan and its ability to look though things, to peek inside the envelope.

"Well it's time, you ready to go Shiro?". Nisha said still shaking a little as she spoke but getting up and heading out, she waited for a moment for Shiro sense he had spoken up for this moment, he had helped settle her down with him speaking up to her, she was still nervous but she was much calmer then before, as they headed out of the classroom.

As they headed outside Nisha though about what she needed in order to be accepted into the academy in the first place, first was to prove she could handle the workload(theoretical) of the classes, and hold the ideals needed to become ninja of the village and finally the ability to take the physical training needed for progress in the academy, her main issue was the final step for most of her life to this point, her illness left her unable to digest food for most of her life, resulting in her body to be a little underdeveloped for her age, and low in stamina.

However, thanks to the diet she had been given by the medical unit to help her body get used to consuming more and with help was the medicine that her brother had found or made while researching it, for his training as a Medical-ninja, thanks to this she had gotten her body used to digesting more and helping it get into shape, allowing her to finally work out raising her physical abilities, an just barely managing to pass the physical requirement test for the academy she was still on the weaker end of the class when it came to physical activity, and in today's test she would need likely need to overcome this to pass here.
