Where I came from... Briefly the image of large houses and something called a supermarket flashed before her eyes, but the image was gone with the wind before she could catch it. "No," she replied quietly, and tried to steer the conversation back towards Light, "What about you? What is this... place?"

"This is dread forest though it use to be called the forest of haven but because the dread wolves took it over it is known as dread forest." Light said thinking if it was safe to share personal information with the girl. "No harm i guess. after all it is a two day walk too the nearest village." He thought noticeing they had lost the wolves. "What would you like to know about me i already said my name. And you can stop wispering the wolves lost us and none are within hearing range." He added speaking normaly again.

Whispering? Arciere hadn't even realized that she had dropped her voice, but for some reason the quietness just seemed right to her. She lifted her voice anyway, "Anything about you... like... where you come from--- your history. Or... wait, how old are you anyways?" she asked, eyeing him curiously.

"I am from the land of fire about four hundred miles east of here. My home town is the city of Draco. and i am eightteen." Light said as the came to a point where a open field could be seen the same field She had just left. "As for why i am here and so far from home that I will tell you when i have a reason too." Light said before letting out a whistle. Soon after he whistled the shadow of a dragon could be seen.

Arciere glanced upwards as a shadow swept over the two of them. "A dragon," she breathed, "It's not supposed to be..." she trailed off. Her eyes were filled with awe, with admiration as she looked upon the beast. Somewhere in the back of her mind, something told her that she had always wished they were real, ever since she was a child. "Amazing."

"Yeah she is and to think you have not seen the best part about her." Light said as he walked up to the dragon and handed it a peice of coal. "She is a rare dragon even in draco but, Not because of her flying skills or her beauty." Light said as the dragon ate the coal and then blew out blue flames right above Arciere. "Melfina be nice She has no memory so things are hard enough on her." Light said calmly as he looked her stright in the eyes. After Claming the dragon down he turned to face Arciere. "How about we fly instead of walking for two days?"

Arciere grinned childishly as she backed off from the beast a few feet, "Really? You mean it?" She looked over the female dragon again, who looked down upon the girl with slight interest, then Arciere raised an eyebrow curiously. The beast was huge -- bigger than the wolves! "How am I supposed to get on her...?"

"It is easy." Light said as the dragon lowered her head and help him up with her wing. "Just ask her to help. Also her name is melfina so please use it." Light added calmly as he sat right between her wings and kneck. Sitting on the dragon he looked like a night. ((By the way the next day or two i will be busy alot so sorry if i can not reply much.))

"Melfina...?" murmured Arciere, looking up with a gaze that asked silently for help. The dragon huffed in reply, but kept her outstretched wing open for the girl. Arciere scrambled up the dragon and placed herself awkwardly behind Light, hesitantly wrapping her arms around his waist. She sucked in a breath suddenly as the image of a young version of her riding doubles on a large horse with an older woman flashed before her eyes, but again the vision disappeared before she could catch it and hold it forever. A pang of sadness stabbed through her heart, but she tried to lighten her mood as she said jokingly, "She won't drop me, will she?" Arciere smiled slightly.
(That's okay. xD I had to be gone all Saturday anyway for a Young Marines thing, but I'm back now. biggrin )

Light watched as Arciere got up. As she wraped her arms around him he noticed a slight twitch in her aura that quickly returned to normal. Light was about to ask when Arciere asked if Melfina would drop her. "Lets put it this way do not let go of me and your safe no matter what. Have you ever rode a dragon before" Light asked as the dragon spread her wings after standing up.

Arciere laughed with delight as the great beast took to the air, replying between uncontrollable giggles, "Something tells me I haven't -- I've never been in an experience such as this!"

"What is with this girl she has no memory and her aura is like none i have ever seen." Light thought as melfina glided along flaping her wings from time to time. "Try to controll yourself the air is a bit thin up here and laughing to much can make you light headed. First time i rode Melfina i fell off becuase i was not staying calm." Light said in a clam but serious. "That being said how would you like to see what she can realy do?"

Arciere immediately quieted herself then replied with a childish excitement in her voice, "Of course!" She then tightened her grip on Light, expecting some exhilarating dives, flips, and aerial somersaults. Just his mention of him falling through the air made her think of herself in free-fall, and she reflexively closed her fingers around the front of Light's shirt, kind of holding fistfuls of it.

"Ok but I need you to move in front of me so you can hold on to her like i am. No need to worrie about falling i will help you move." Light said as a light surrounded Arciere. After that light waited for her to stand up so they could switch places.

Arciere's eyes widened as the light surrounded her, but said nothing as she stood up shakily. "M-maybe it wasn't a good idea after all..." she muttered under her breath as she looked at Light expectantly.
