"Alright." He was right, she did need to think about what things would be needed that way there would be no worrying about getting it all later. Clothes, blankets, toys... The list went on and on. At least Xun could point out anything she was bound to be forgetting, since he had sort of been through this once before.

Whisteria was extremely grateful for his help and support, she probably would have been quite lost right now without it.

"Seems like I have returned just in time, did I ?" He teased, hoping to lighten the atmosphere a bit. It did no good to worry about the things one could not change... Even if Ti Lung would be the first to admit that he needed to take his own advice.

"Seems so." Whisteria smiled. It seemed his attempt to lighten the mood had its desired effect. "So what adventure did I miss out on this time?" The druidess had already missed out on one with the brothers from Eshurian, having sent Katida in her place instead. Now that she knew for sure about the baby, she was glad that she had. There was no sense in putting herself at risk after all.

She sipped her tea, unable to hide her amusement, having figured Xun had agree d to tea out of politeness.

"There was sand." He said, deadpan. "And ghosts. And sand. And ruins. And sand. Did I mention sand ?"

Okay, by the end there had been a lot less sand involved, but Ti Lung's point still stood.

Whisteria laughed, very nearly snorting tea at Xun's tone and the repeated mentions of sand. "Sounds like Silithus. Good thing I missed it then." This night elf had dealt with far more deserts in her lifetime than she ever cared to. At least this planet Lifewater had gone to did not have intelligent bugs large enough to eat you if they had a mind to? "You came back in one piece, so that is good."

He was certainly lucky to be back in one piece, especially with his close encounter with a sand storm, but he knew better than to mention that. Whisteria would fuss and likely start to examine every inch of him for damage, but thankfully he had healed a long time ago.

"That world likely has a good chance to recover... And we found what we were looking for. So it all worked out, at least." He would have been quite upset if they had trudged through all that only to find that Forge had no chance of recovery...

Xun was right, she probably would have had he mentioned it. Thankfully for him he was smart enough to know better. "That is good, on both counts." In her humble opinion a place full of green and growing things was much better than a desert, or other sort of wasteland, but that might have been the druid in her talking.

"You said you were looking for a gem...so you were after another god then?" Whisteria had figured out enough to know that each gem held a god's soul, it was given a certain mortal and that mortal died to give the god life again. If it was anymore complex than that, well, she did not really want to know. Having it happen to two of the people closest to her was more than enough to deal with.

"Her gem was lost far away, during Gehenna - the span of time where everything started to go wrong." He was not sure how filled in Whisteria was, as far as the near-end of all was concerned. "So we had to go and find her, bring her back here."

It was a close to truth as he could get without embarking delicate territory - and well, it was not like he was lying. That had been what had happened, more or less.

Whisteria snerked at the sound of something moving when Xun shifted on the stool. Perhaps she should arrange things in here a little better- the druidess had not thought of anyone with a tail when she had set everything up. Most of her visitors were a little less scaley after all. She nodded. What little she knew about the near-end besides what happened on Azeroth was bits and pieces gathered here and there. Which was to say, not much at all. "Hopefully things will be better for her now then."

"I will make sure of it. But for now there is nothing we can do but wait." Forge seemed too weak still to call for a new host, and until that changed, there was little more that could be done beyond keeping her gem safe.

Whisteria smiled, refilling her own cup after Xun was done refilling his. He seemed quite determined to look after this other goddess. That was certainly a good thing though, perhaps the care would help her. "So what are your plans in the meantime, if I am allowed to ask?" Sure, Xun was family but he was still a god and she did not want to be too terribly nosey.

"After that... Well. There will probably be more matters for me to help with soon enough. I am also trying to... remember. Before the fading... But that is extremely hard." He did not elaborate of the why, through. "But there are surely important things here. Knowledge, artifact... If there is something, then I need to do my best to remember it."

"Isn't that the way life always goes?" Whisteria laughed. "I mean my life just got turned upside down in the space of moments." The possibility of it had been one thing but it being reality was an entirely different thing. She sobered somewhat and sipped her tea. "You will find what you need, even if its only when you need it most." The druidess looked thoughtful for a moment. "Is there no one you could talk to, who could maybe help you?"

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show."Indeed." was Xun Jiang's amused answer as he took another large sip from his cup. Yes, that was unmistakable - he was indeed enjoying the drink.

"That is part of the problem... None of us truly do remember much." He admitted. "But I... remember less than most." He was dancing around having to explain why, and he hoped he was side-stepping well enough that Whisteria might not notice. Just because he was slowly growing to accept his mistakes did not mean he was keen to talking about it if it was not needed.

"It might come with time, as you say." He hoped, at least, that not everything was lost. The personal things... He could live without them. But if there was something truly important there...

"Meditation might help... But I am about as good at that as I always was." Which was not very good. He had too much energy for that, could not keep himself from being distracted and fidgeting, just like he had been as Illisia.

Whisteria nodded, accepting the comment at face value. Death always did seem to cause problems with memories- she saw it sometimes in comrades who had spent too long dead before being ressurected. Moments, hours or even days went missing sometimes.

"I would offer to help, but if you can't sit still..." She chuckled. "This may seem a silly thing, but have you tried swimming and thinking about it? Since you are Lifewater and all." Possibly silly and obvious maybe, but one never knew.
