"That is a little bit odd." Alexander conceded after listening to her explanation. He was actually more then a little curious over which hunter she might have been attacked by, not that he knew any of them by name. The one he had a run in with at the haunted house was one that he had met before, and had also threatened to eat his delicious smelling human ghoulfriend.

"They are dangerous, though. At least, the ones I've met have been. They blew up the horseman isles, after all." And Alexander had bore witness to that as well. He had been shot, had his flesh torn by whips, seen his boilfriend get set on fire, been stabbed, and all by hunters. The only good hunter was dead one.

"It wasn't that dry." He protested, "And it was the abridged version. Practically a reference guide more then anything." Back on the subject of books, now. Of course, Alex never thought any book was dry or boring, so he was likely a poor judge.

Picking out a two more books, one for Mad Science, and one for History, he added them to the stack of four, making six. "There, these are probably good to get started on, if you have the time to read them. Now, as I mentioned before, I do have a job, and I also like to spend some time with my boilfriend on my off days...but he has training and sometimes goes to bed quite early as well if he's feeling particularly tired." Alex, being undead, didn't actually need to sleep so it was through the night that he got most of his studying or homework finished.

"So I should be able to meet up with you at least a couple of times a week to help you out with studying and to go over the material. Do you have an eyephone or a skellyphone I can contact you on?"

"Fiiiine." He consented, slightly exasperated and still not at all convinced that history was dry, or boring, and that the book was nothing more then light reading that could be done in a couple of days, if not less. "But I will be quizzing you on it's contents, so try not to skip out on any of it." He gave her an almost evil smile, though amusement was glittering plainly in his eyes.

He waited for her to search around for her phone for a time, moving the stack of books that she would not be checking out to the edge of the table so that he could pick them up and put them all back when the time came to do so.

"Oh? Well here." He dug his hand into the front pocket of his jeans, pulling out his eye-phone, that looked rather beat up even despite the hard red case he had put on it. "Just add your number to my contacts list. I'll send you a text to let you know my work schedule, then we can set something up from there!" Seemed like a simple enough plan, really. He only hoped he could juggle all of these new undertakings and still have time to do some studying for himself.

"What dorms do you stay in?" It was never best to assume these things, really. But if there was a chance she was in the monster dorms...well, that would work out nicely, since he spent a lot of his spare time at his boilfriends room in said dorms.

Alex watched her play around with his phone, a little apprehensive once he realized she didn't seem to really know how to use an eyephone. Really, it wasn't just his boilfriend that had problems with these things? Wow.

"Ya, my mom bought it for me. Sort of a..congratulations for getting accepted into Amityville Academy gift." He explained. And really, if it wasn't battered, it wouldn't be Alex's. He forced himself to let her fiddle with it longer, until she worked out how to enter in her contact information, then held out his hand to take it back from her when she was finished and deposited it into his pocket.

"Oh great! My boilfriend stays in the monster dorms, so I spend quite a bit of time over there already." He actually spent pretty much every single night there. Really, it was kind of silly that he didn't just move in completely. "That will make it easier, too."

The question about if he was undead startled him a little, as he turned a tiny bit to grab the books she wouldn't be using and take them back to their shelves. "Yep! A zombie, born and raised." Literally, actually born and raised in Halloween, not like the other kind that came over from the human world with no memories of their past.

"I'm guessing that was kind of obvious, though." He chuckled, shuffling back towards the bookshelves. "So I guess I will be seeing you again fairly soon, then?"

Alex would have also waved, but his hands were too full of books as well to do so, so all he could really offer the ghoul was a large, warm smile and a nod of his head as she left.

And now he just had to figure out how he was going to have time to help somebody new with their studies, help Yin with his, do his own, work a full time job, attend classes, and still have time for a social life.

It was probably a good thing he didn't need to sleep.
