His eyes fluttered a little as her fingers grazed his rough chin. "Benden...so you're visiting? Are you Trader or Seacrafter?" He watched the retreating hand before returning his eyes to the lips that purred so seductively.

"I do." He grinned and tilted his glass back as well, miming a larger swallow than he actually took. He wasn't about to over indulge until he had her hooked, but he'd act like he was. ~ Cal, say hello in a moment. ~ He sent the quick call to his dragon, distracting the creature from his own conversation. "I'm known as Z'fer, Rider of Bronze Calanoth and Wingleader of Malvren Weyr." His grin turned to a smirk as Calanoth chimed in right on cue. A brassy bugle ringed gayly from the darkness, his large form rising to his feet with wings spread wide and chest thrust forward proudly. His pale hide caught the firelight from a distance, illuminating himself nicely and reflecting off his vibrant green eyes.

"Would you give me your name if I asked?"

"Just visiting. My father's a small time trader." Hekate lied with a smile admiring how the candlelight cast the rider's tanned skin in a richer tone of red and brown with the shadows.

"Z'fer~" She murmured the name letting it roll off her tongue, her light accent tinting it with new erotic hues of sound. "While I wasn't aware of your rank I can't say I'm surprised to find you a wingleader." She chuckled lifting her gaze as the bronze let out a bugle eyeing the distant dragon. So he hadn't been bluffing. She thought with an amused grin tilting her head slightly allowing the tips of her rich red hair to play along the curve of her neck.

When he questioned if she would give him her name she chuckled setting her glass down on the table to slide closer tucking herself against his side and wrapping her arms loosely around his neck. "Maybe~" she whispered letting her warm breath ghost over the shell of his ear.

"Maybe I don't have a name." She added with a chuckle trailing her fingers over the base of his neck threading her right hand into the hair there and allowing her other one to trail up and down his spine. Leaning in close her nose was just a hairsbreath from touching his her rich amber gold eyes sparkling in the firelight like two golden suns. "But you can call me Hekate." She answered, her fingers clevery working to undo the knot of his necklace and drop the little trinket into her awaiting sleeve to be spirited away before the distracted man could notice.

"Oh? Is it because of my ruggedly good looks?" A trader's daughter, he'd heard of, and been with worse. It might explain her air of experience though for a small time trader it was quite a feat to cross the ocean, and then return 'just to visit'. Maybe her father wasn't as small time as she wants him to believe. It didn't really matter though. Her or her families' occupation wasn't going to deter his advances much. Especially when she was just so sharding willing. He slid his arms around her waist, his fingers just trailing beneath the hem of her tunic.

Little bumps rose on his skin as the hairs at his nape stood up. He resisted the urge to shiver in response to her caresses. "Are you a flit, to disappear at the slightest threat?" His hands settled more firmly on her hips as he leaned forward, aching for their lips to meet.

"You could say that." She answered with a chuckle never moving from where she was pressed tight against him feeling as he wrapped his arms around her his fingers playing just under the edge of her tunic. Digging her right hand a little deeper into his thick locks she leaned in closer her lips ghosting against his.

"More the Queen to claim what is Mine." Hekate replied her voice dark and inviting at she crashed her lips against Z'fer delighting in the taste of sweet white wine that tinted his lips as her fingernails grazed against his scalp. It was a pity she couldn't continue this, her form did fit all too perfectly against his larger one and curiosity might have even tempted her to follow him back for a night.

Still there was only one King of her heart and he awaited her back with Dizzian.

Z'fer pressed into her kiss, his body rocking up to meet her. He didn't even care that they were still in public. He didn't have to protect a sparkling reputation after all and if she was so free with her affections, neither did she. Normally he took the lead in his relationships. Being on the other end was a new and not entirely unpleasant experience.

"hmmmm" He murmered into her lips, pulling away just a fraction for whisper. "Let's get out of here..." His eyes remained shut, more concerned with what he could feel rather than what he could see.

Once the dancers had departed Dizzian was able to give her own suitor the attention he wanted. She'd scorned him long enough though and while she was now willing, playing second fiddle to a couple of dancers had put him off and he quickly and politely withdrew, leaving the brunette in a huff. Dizzian propped her cheek in her palm and stroked Courath's headridge with the other hand, scanning the crowds for the now invisible pair of riders.

The kiss was. . .exhilarating to say the least, but Dizzian was sure to be getting impatient with her. So as Z'fer pulled back Hekate made it a point to carefully ready herself to move.

A low mischevious chuckle rose from the woman's throat, soft, sultry, and distinctly feline with it's purr. "Sorry Bronze of Mine, but our flight is far from over~ So catch me if you can!" She whispered her lips ghosting over his as she spoke leaving the skin their tingling as she suddenly moved leaping from his grip and falling back into the sanctuary of the crowds.

By the time Z'fer managed to snap his eyes open the little red haired vixen was sure to be long gone.

Or not as gone as he would think seeing as she'd ducked around the corner and under a tent stall counting on the fact he'd run after her and think she'd continued running. Leaving her time to lope back around and meet up with Dizzian and her beloved Devith.

"Miss me?" She asked the girl her tone a little too chipper and grin a little too wide to have not caused some sort of mischief as she slid in to her seat scooping up her sleepy Devith, flits and all causing Prince to sqwuak at being disturb and grumbly climb up her shoulder to drape himself about his neck.

As if he could hope to compete with me~ Devith mused his tone darkly amused as he cracked one eye open examining his rider for any possible damage or slight. The human bronze of course had fallen for his delightful Queen's charms. Shame he couldn't compete with a King like himself.

As if anyone could compete with you. Hekate assured him scratching the very drowsy silver's eyeridges her grin broadening and cheeks tinting slightly in embarrassment. True Devith had missed most of her little trick, but he managed to glean enough in emotions and memories to share in her little joke.

"what...?" Z'fer murmured only a moment before Hekate was gone from his grip. He leapt up from the table, overturning the bench but even his height couldn't help him spot the quick redhead as she disappeared. He forced his way through the people, stepping on toes and carelessly shoving them aside in his hunt.

"Hekate! You little snake return to me!" At first there was mirth at their game in his voice, the comment not intended as an insult. As he searched and waited for her to tire of her game he grew irritable, calling her name brought him no response except for angry looks from those around him.

Shard it all his whole evening wasted just like that! Returning to their shared bench revealed that even the expensive glasses and wine had been filched while he was gone. Z'fer kicked the table out of frustration, flipping it over and spilling the remains of other's meals to the ground.

--------------------------

Dizzian looked up and gave a falsely stern look to Hekate as she returned. "Yesss! If Devith hadn't been so calm I would have worried about you!" Observant eyes caught the slightly mussed state of her appearance and she cocked an eyebrow. "You do remember our restrictions don't you?" She tried to hide the grin that split her face.

"Oh I didn't do anything that the Weyr would scoff at." She replied jokingly rolling her eyes as she pulled the necklace from her sleeve toying with it between her hands before tying her little souvenir round her neck. Giving her friend a broad grin she continued scratching Devith's eyeridges.

"I just happen to prefer silver to bronze though I'm sure his 'dragon' is just as impressive as he boasted it to be." Hekate joked enjoying her little innuendo's as Devith draped himself over her lap a rumbling dragon chuckle rising from his throat. After all Dizzian couldn't have all the fun turn of phrases.

"His fault really, he didn't even think to question my rank and really I'm not that easy." She replied with a grin distant shouts catching her ears. "But we may want to possibly foot it back to our quarters." Hekate added with a touch more caution.

I could handle the two legger bronze Devith replied stretching out his little clawed feet with a yawn and snapping his tail possessively around Hekate.

"I'm sure you can Devith, but half the fun of the game is the chase. If he's really interested I'm sure he'll come looking. What do you think Dizzian?" She questioned giving her friend a roguish grin that promised a rather fun story to come.

Dizzian snorted and buried her face in her arms, shaking with laughter. "Oh shards Hekate what did you do?!" She could hear the yells as well as patrons and shop keeps got involved in whatever was going down out of sight. She shook her head and snorted again. "You're going to be the death of Trine you know that? But I still love you." She gently lifted Courath's head, rubbing her thumbs over the little green's eye ridges. "Wake up hun, we're heading back to camp."

Courath stretched and yawned, sliding off the bench and to her feet in one fluid movement though her eyes remained half lidded. ~ What bronze are you challenging now Devith? ~

Dizzian stood and stretched herself, shaking the tingles from her limbs. "It sounds like he's tearing the Gather apart looking for you already. Let's get!"

"Oh... and you owe me a dance later!" As she turned towards Trine's camp to begin the trek back she winked at Hekate.

"Well Queen flights can get a little violent I'm told." Hekate added with a wink gently nudging Devith to get up so they could move which caused Lady who had still been clinging to his back to take wing settling on Hekate's free shoulder with a scolding chitter at being disturbed.

"And besides it's not like he's going to catch me and you know Trine would be quite boring without Devith and I to spice things up." She added with a laugh though at the sounds of escalating violence she picked up her pace a bit as Devith slunk from her lap to land with ever vain feline grace one the ground as the two young rider's and dragons beat a hasty retreat.

"And love you too and if we make it back to the tent alive you can have as many dances later as you want!" Hekate replied and indeed it did sound rather like Z'fer was tearing apart the place looking for Devith's red haired minx of a rider.

Oh not one that I am not fully capable of handling sister dear. Devith crooned his tone rich, amused, and full of unspoken promises of violence should the two-legger bronze cause trouble.

For Z'fer's sake the bronzerider had better hope he didn't find Hekate in his current temper. After all Devith would not tolerate HIS being treated with anything, but the utmost respect. It was after all the silly two-legger bronze's fault for mistaking her as a quick flight anyway. Treading closer he rubbed possessively up against Hekate's legs reassuring his slightly worried rider with a thrumming croon.

While the fact Z'fer was going through so much trouble to find her was rather. . .flattering. What need would she have for a bronze? Grinning down at Devith she stroked his headridge with a smile.

The pair as usual were trouble walking with a capital T and so far the gather demonstration was shaping up to be quite the interesting affair.
