Tatiana continued to draw. She seemed a bit uncaring about whether people found her attractive or not. "Sure, whatever. It's not like I'm planning to do much."

Elasa tilted her head in curiosity. "You wish for a mate? For this night?" she asked. "But if it is only for one night, how can they be your mate?"

Selene piked up the Menu. "I'm having the lobster, quail, Caesar salad and a bottle of wine." She then looked at Tatiana, "You should eat."

 The THUD from Sonya's head hitting the table likely sounded throughout the entire lounge. What had she gotten herself into? Dealing with a bunch of aliens who barely understood human culture was way more than she had bargained for. Slowly, her head raised and she shot a look of pleading at Elasa. "Elly... in case you haven't realized it yet... I'm just trying for a 'partner' for the night, okay?" She turned to Selene. "I don't know how you plan on paying for all that stuff, but please don't expect me too. I don't even plan on paying for these." She motioned to the beer bottle. "As for you..." Sonya directed her attention to Tatiana, "If you could calmly begin this 'not much' you plan on doing, and try not to ruin anything, then we'll get along peachy, okay? Everyone understands now, alright?"

Tatiana looked back up at Sonya. Her staring looking mildly blank of caring. "One, we are capable of paying our own way. Two, as I recall, I didn't really ask for your permission as to what I would be doing with my time. Three, your behavior isn't really the most model. Four, bring me some crab cakes. That should be enough." She looked back at her sketch pad and continued to draw.

Elasa frowned, beginning to wonder if her questions were upsetting Sonya, and she decided to simply refrain from asking more questions any further, as it appeared that Sonya did not like to answer them.

Selene looked right at Sonya. "Well you asked us to come along." She then went to looking at the deserts on the menu. "Besides, like Tatiana said, we can cover ourselves."
She then looked back to Sonya and glared. "And who do you expect to pay for your's?"

Sonya finally gave a sigh, one which carried a small, abrupt jet of flame as she did so. She shook her head slowly and took another large swig of her beer. "Hehe... pay..." Her orange eyes shifted to Selene. "You, my friend, are adorable. As for you..." She turned back to Tatiana, "I shouldn'tve talked to you like that, but if you tell me what to do again, fire will be involved in my response. Now, Elly..." Finally she looked to the Blue Lantern, "Would you like to observe how drinking effects the human psyche in regards to locating a partner?"

Tatiana rolled her eyes at Sonya's respond. Sonya's demanding demeanor reminded her why she agreed moved to Mars with parents. People hadn't changed much. "You're really going to threaten to kill someone? I do believe that's against your human law."

Elasa had been about to respond to Sonya's question, when she looked to Tatiana and frowned. She looked back to Sonya, and said: "Aggressiveness is not needed, Sonya. Please do not use it. But... Yes, I would like to see what happened to humans when they consume... Al-ko-hall, it is called?"

Selene looked up at Elasa. "Yes, it's Alcohol, my dear. As for what Sonya said, I agree. She should calm down or I'll have to take it personally."

"Yeah, because what the law says has always mattered to me..." Sonya muttered sarcastically as she stood from the table. Gently, she took Elasa's hand and lifted her from the seat while signaling with a finger for her to follow. "So, before we do this, how do courtship rituals work on your planet?" Finding out what she knew would make everything a lot easier... she hoped.

Tatiana rolled her eyes some more. "Elasa, you would be better off staying out of what Sonya's planning to do." She seemed to mess with her watch for a moment.

Elasa more often than not, would have been more than happy to show Sonya the courtship rituals of her planet-- so long as Sonya didn't attempt to touch her, as such a thing was forbidden by Elasa's laws-- but she looked between Sonya and Tatiana, and she frowned.
"I... am confused," she said, pulling gently away from Sonya and looking to Tatiana. "Why should I refrain from telling her about my people?"

"Tatiana wasn't speaking of sharing your ways. It was more to reference Sonya's plans for, as humans say, picking up a man. She's been drinking and is most likely not in her correct frame of mind." Selene looked up when their food was brought to the table and got ready to eat.
"While intoxicated she might not think before acting on her example to you and may very well touch you in a manor you might not see fit. I think you should learn, on your own, how to court a human male."
