Ginko walked to the beast temple with the girls, still panting, but trying not to stagger. 'Macha.' Fidchell said. 'Skeith has awakened, but has gone berserk! Me and Ginko are trying our best to calm him and Mistress down! I don't think we'll be able to do it by ourselves, find some way to awaken, and get over here.'Fidchell stopped for a second then continued. 'I'm feeling something at the beast temple, get there and see what it is.'

"I can't really help you right now. You should try to get all of yourself into the same place, Fidchell, things may start to get ugly here soon. There isn't just something at the Beast Temple...it's all around us. Rouge, keep your guard up. I can't understand why you indulge that foolish sister of yours. Curiosity has killed me before."
Rouge Metrea
Hearing the warning from Macha, Rouge nodded. "Kasumi, don't wander off! We're not alone here!" she called out.
Habataki Kasumi
She waited near the entrance, and then she saw it too. Eyes, so many eyes...and they all looked deranged. Completely insane. Something was wrong with them, but she didn't know the cause. They seemed to be in a frenzy, and she didn't like how they were looking at her as though she were food. "Um...sister? Can we, y'know, get inside? I'm getting just a bit nervous from all these people watching us..." Unconsciously, Kasumi raised her staff, readying Zan Rom.
The time was 4:39PM. Visible to all were the frenzied PCs, but only Rouge and Ginko would know that these are AIDA possessed and AIDA degraded PCs. Lost Ones that still wandered the world, reduced to a mass of emotion, all of which screamed "kill". Feeling daring, the first one, a level 63 corrupted Tribal Grappler went for Ginko, as he looks the weakest.
Rouge Metrea
"...!" she suddenly felt a strong adrenaline rush. She could see the black spots bubbling around the PCs. She felt like she should do something...but what?

Ginko slashed the AIDA PC with his sword. He was panting quickly but quickly recovered, and readied his attack position. "Let's dance!" Fidchell through Ginko said. He knew that he and Rouge could easily take down the AIDA's, but Kasumi was the problem, with one hit, she could die and become an Lost One.

"Shoot to kill! Plectra Bullet!" Rouge shouted, spraying ammo at every AIDA PC in her vicinity. "Kasumi, go hide in the temple!" she roared, running towards the Temple entrance while shooting at everyone that wasn't her party.
The time is 4:40.
Habataki Kasumi
"Right! Yikes! ZAN ROM!" she barked, spraying a whirlwind at the oncoming PCs before fleeing into what she hoped was the safety of the temple. She wasn't going to get her hopes up though, from what she'd heard, many players got PK'd inside the temples. She stopped in front of the treasure chest, gently tapping it with her foot, hoping to get a nice treasure from it. Spell Baiyan, she saw. Not that it was going to be much help now, the weird, zombie-like players were rushing in. She steeled herself. This...was going to hurt, but... "LIKE HELL I'M GOING TO GET PK'D IN HERE! RAAAAH! Ap Corma! ZAN ROM!" She knocked back some of her foes, but was forced to start running and hitting with her staff, as the five that were in with her were starting to swarm her...

"-ROM!"
Metrea growled as she heard her sister's war cry. She was still outside, trying to kill hordes of the AIDA PCs. It was starting to feel like no matter what she did, more just kept coming. "It's like a flood!" she yelled. And then she got frustrating, spamming Thorn Shot and Plectra Bullet to clear the way to her sister. She was at the Temple Entrance, halfway down the stairs, far enough to see that her sister was giving it as good as she got but still taking a beating...she felt some relief when Kasumi let off an Ol Repth and Rip Palam, but she wasn't sure how long her sister would last. Kasumi was more used to hit and run, not long, drawn out solo battles.

"Hahahaha! Today is my lucky day!" Suddenly a man rushes into the action and pulls out his Thunder Ryu, slicing down a random character among the masses of the Black Ones. As he brandished his blade he looks out among the other Black Ones, "Looks like they're in great form today. These guys look different compared to the others." He looked back to Ginko and Rouge, he could smell a similar scent to his own, "You two should go help your friend, I'll handle these guys. They chose to live a way that I can't agree with. They need a Rebirth."

Time is: 4:42. As Lanza attacked them, they shrieked and vanished. As they were not data drained...they were Lost. Again. They would reappear in 12 hours...maybe.
Rouge Metrea
Under any other circumstances, Rouge would have given that guy a blank stare. Just who the heck did he think he was anyways? And where the bloody heck did he just pop out from? It almost seemed too convenient. Or, that's what she would have thought if she weren't cotton-brained from panic. "Yeah, thanks. About that Rebirth, don't blow the system to bits, 'k? I like being alive." And with that, she ran off, deeper into the temple, to try to relieve the load on her sister. "Kasumi! Are you okay!?" Speaking of whom...
Habataki Kasumi
"Haah...hah...Oh geez, what did I get myself into..." she panted, dodging as best as she could and defending where she could...but PCs were SO not the same as regular monsters. Even as animalistic as they were, they were still fighting like real people, and fighting HARD. She was backed up right against the edge of the precipice where the treasure chest was sitting. Something wasn't normal, and something told her that if she got pushed back any more, she'd go right over the edge. "Kuso..." she swore quietly, firing off a Rue Kruz at the one nearest her. She didn't have much time to talk, even with her sister firing like mad. "YA! I'M OKAY! SORT OF! COULD USE A LITTLE HELP HERE THOUGH!"
"I'm coming, hold on!" Rouge Metrea fired shot after shot, striking all PCs possessed that were near Kasumi. Kasumi quickly used a Sprite Drop before using an Ol Repth and following with Zan Rom again.
Deep within the depths of the cavern...a strong pulse clearly of AIDA was released. It would be felt by all awakened Epitaphs nearby. Something dark rose from the depths, stirred out of its rest by the presence of three Epitaphs and what seemed to be a clean PC...

The real Ginko just now warped in and made it to the beast statue, where he saw Kasumi get attacked by AIDA. "No!!!!" He yelled, trying to fight his way through, but only made it up to Rouge, where he helped her fend off the AIDA infected PC's. The copy of Ginko bubbled away and was gone. "Sorry I'm late Rouge." Ginko said. "I had trouble with Skeith, but he's awakened now. So no worries, well actually, there is one, and that's saving Kasumi."

Habataki Kasumi
She slumped to her knees in relief as she saw the PCs around her give way to her friends. "Thank Aura you're here," she said tiredly. Rouge was right, she was NOT made for 1 vs many battles. Her SP was kind of low, and her HP was only as high as it was because she kept heal-spamming herself.
Rouge Metrea
"Yeah, it's good we're in time. Kasumi, get up! We got most of them, but there are still a few hanging around. One might pop out from somewhere, how will you defend yourself like this?" Rouge said, her speech a little fast from nerves.
There was a tone. 4:44PM. A single tone that sounded like a melodious middle G rang throughout the area. Kasumi bolted to her feet, looking around, trying to find the source of the tone. Rouge's eyes widened and she gasped, clutching her chest, feeling Macha's power rear up within her. From the chasm behind the Beast Statue...no, it seemed to be from the Statue itself, a mass of black and teal emerged, its eyes opened. Black bubbles swirled around it, popping and warping the data space.
The phenomenon of Unseen Illusion's Shadow...an AIDA in the shape of Innis, the Mirage of Deceit.
Kasumi stood transfixed by the otherworldly but so fundamentally WRONG apparition in front of her. Their eyes met, and Kasumi, though curious as to what this huge black thing was, felt fear, yet a strange kind of sureness. She was rooted to the spot, paralyzed, as she stared back at the living abyss before her. As though hypnotized, Kasumi reached out at the...thing, as though trying to touch it.
Rouge was having trouble moving. Macha...she was overpowering. Bucking from within Rouge, trying to force her way out. Rouge wanted to let her out, but didn't know how. The symbols of her Epitaph flashed on her body, but that's all it did...flash on and off, scramble Rouge's ability to move, and give her a headache that she felt on BOTH sides of the screen. Macha knew her enemy was in front of her, but because Rouge was just so confused and afraid, Macha couldn't align herself to her host and get out. So Rouge too was paralyzed, powerless to do anything as her sister beheld the monster, and slowly reached out to it.

Ginko looked and saw the Black bubbles. He quickly yelled, "No!" At Kasumi, but it was too late, she already touched it, the AIDA counterpart of Innus, the Mirage of Deceit, "Dammit, Dammit, Dammit!" Ginko cursed, he looked to Rouge, who has having trouble awakening Macha. He ran over to her and grabbed her. "Rouge! Listen, if you don't awaken now, your little sister will become one with AIDA, she'll fall into a coma, and you'll have to fight her PC, which will still have her personality, and feelings, no matter what happens! The emotional pressure will over come you, and you'll release Macha if you stop your sister!" He hugged her and held her close. "I've already lost friends of mine to AIDA, Mistress has lost her best friend that she loves, I don't want you to lose your best friend, your sister, to AIDA, please, help her, only you can do it." He whispered in her ear. He then back away, only holding her hands, "You have to do it, me and Lanza will hold them off, go on." He said.

A streak of black shot through the crowd of AIDA PCs, leaving the PCs that were in the way to be cut down easily. "..." Mistress said nothing as she faced the next one, about to slice it down but noticed that he was normal. Targetting the PC, the name LanzadelRay showed up...he seemed to be helping. Turning towards the rest, she saw the black dots of AIDA...so... these were other people that were infected as well? She felt her temper shoot up, but she calmed herself down-in case Skeith would go berserk once again. Her black sword, named "Dark Silence" gave her attack quite a boost...since it showed when she hit the PCs aside and almost all there HP was gone. "Let's end this..." She muttered under her breath.

There was a buzzing, turmoil, as Rouge tried to make sense of things. She was confused. Oh, she knew what all this stuff was, at least in name. Its nature? She'd never felt before. That black thing that was with her sister was oppressive. Macha was practically growling from within her. Ginko's hug and pep talk wasn't really helping her. Making others feel awkward with affection...that was her job. "Kasumi! What are you doing, don't touch that thing!" she called out, the flashing marks on her PC slowly beginning to pulse with some regularity. Save Kasumi...I have to save Kasumi! Macha! What do I do?!
Let me out! Stop resisting me! Macha answered.
I'm not though! At least, I'm not trying to!
You're trying too hard- you're trying to do everything yourself. Let go of your pride for a moment! Neither of us can do this alone!
Habataki Kasumi
She knew the world behind her was in chaos. She heard her sister and Ginko tell her not to touch that dark angel/fairy thing in front of her, the one that was making space pop with those eerie black bubbles. Like a disease... she thought with a shiver. But everything around her seemed muffled, as though she wasn't quite there, but looking in from behind a heavy, translucent curtain. That melodious G shimmered, almost like a song, and that single huge eye drew her to it like a moth to a flame. That huge teal eye that shimmered with so many things- feelings, conflicting feelings. If it weren't so colossal and alien, she might have thought she was looking at another person. In spite of herself, she felt curious about it.
"What are you?" she felt her lips move, but couldn't hear her own voice over it.
You know what I am already.
Kasumi's eyes widened in surprise. She hadn't expected it to answer. Its voice...it was hard to tell if it was male or female. She was so entranced she didn't notice that the bit brushing her fingertips was already crawling INTO her PC. ""AIDA" doesn't mean anything to me. Who are you?" It interested her, and the infection, sensing this, crept more into her data.
"Oh great, she's talking to it..." grumbled Rouge as she tried to tap into Macha's power. It just wasn't happening for her...and while she could hear snatches of their conversation, it was almost like she was an eavesdropper...hearing something she shouldn't have been able to hear.
How do I answer that? "Who" I am is different depending on who you ask. I am an abomination to the friends behind you. Who do you think I am?
Kasumi frowned. That wasn't much of an answer. She looked at it again, confused. If it could speak, it was intelligent. If it was this intelligent, surely it had a sense of "self". "That doesn't say much."
Whether what I say holds truth or nothing at all is up to you to decide. It is all up to you to define what stares back at you from the mirror... whether you will fight or be friendly.
A small voice in her head warned her not to say any more. That this thing was dangerous. But that small voice was drowned out in Kasumi's curiosity and the melody of this...thing. Kasumi's eyes were starting to change color already, darkening...but only in one eye. The infection hadn't taken a firm enough hold on her yet. She tilted her head at it, considering it. It could speak, it was self-aware...to some extent. That meant this thing must have sentience. And if it was sentient, it couldn't be ALL bad...could it? It hadn't tried to eat her or anything yet... She reached out and grasped at the black fairy/angel thing with the big teal eyes.
"What if I wanted to get to know you better?"
It seemed to smile at her. A smile, but it wasn't wholly kind. If Kasumi had been in her right mind, she would have found it almost predatory, almost mocking. Then you are blessed.
The AIDA Epitaph seemed to swoop down on Kasumi, swirling around her, covering her, but it didn't hide her from view. Warped, reversed teal markings flashed over her PC, but didn't take...it seemed as though it would take a little longer to complete. Macha and Rouge continued to struggle to synch, Rouge on the verge of panic...

Ginko was still holding Rouge's hands when he turned around. He let go and faced Kasumi. "Dammit, no time. I have to do it my self." Ginko said. Brandishing his Twilight Dawn. He pointed it at Kasumi. "Sorry Rouge." He charged at Kasumi.

A PC came running from the shadows of the beast temple and unleash a surprise atack against Ginko. He push away Ginko and stand between Kasumi and the team, he had a half smile while saying "Do you mind? The girl need some privacy..." He cross his arms looking to the team.
"The defeat held my soul, but my will keep me walking..."

The minute the fairy thing said "Then you are blessed", she felt like the world exploded and she was plunged into electrified ice water. There just so much stuff happening that she was going numb from all of it. Her sister...she could see those strange red-purple runes flashing over her body. Macha, she thought instinctively. My enemy is here. Wait a minute, enemy? Why is my sister my enemy? Kasumi thought frantically, but she couldn't find a reason why...just that those runes...they were bad. Dangerous to her. Her now fully black and yellow eyes swept around. There's that one that is fighting with my friend...liar swordsman, and there's still two people outside. What a pain. Friend? But I don't know that spiky haired guy! The shadowy form of the AIDA_Innis coalesced over Kasumi.
"Why are you attacking me? I thought you said you would help me!" Kasumi/AIDA said together, pointing a short blade at the Epitaph Users. Rage. Anger that Ginko raised her blade against her...she who had healed them, strengthened them! She, the lower-level...didn't he say he was a PKK that protected newbies?!Rouge Metrea/Macha
Something snapped. Maybe it was seeing that her sister was fully infected, hearing those harsh words and realizing that yep, her sister wasn't all there anymore. It happened very abruptly.Rouge, if you worry about everything you'll get nothing done. don't make any more people join Endrance than there are already. Tell me, what do you want?Help me save my sister. And with that, the marks stopped blinking, flaring as the familiar form of Macha rose up to meet the AIDA. As impressive as that was, however, it was blatantly obviously that for all Rouge tried...she had NO idea what she was supposed to be doing.

He sigh and look to Macha, and then to the girl behind him. He smiled noticing the aida were close to be complete and she was accepting her infection pretty well, "Are you sure you want to hurt her like this?" He said looking to Macha, he had a smirk on his face "Do you really want to raise your sword to defeat her? Like this boy tried to make Misstress destroy me?" He shake his head "Epitaphs are all the same..." He sigh again, he seemed serious saying this.
