Did you really want her to speak little ninja? Did you? A sudden look of embarassment went over her face as she opened her mouth.
"NO." The small word was booming, echoing across the area and frighting off several minipets. Not to mention, it was pretty much deafening to those close by.

The single booming note was not what Shun was expecting at all. Flinching as he felt like he had just been hit by a freaking sonic boom, he found himself a little dazed.
"Kusssoooo...." he hissed while rubbing his ears. He quickly checked his hands to make sure he wasn't bleeding from them. They weren't. But everything was sounding a little more muted right now instead.
Well. That... explained why she was writing everything out.

Slowly, his ears stopped ringing. He wasn't going deaf. This was a good sign. Frowning, he stared at the phone. Somehow, he managed to make out the word 'daijoubu' by some miracle. The rest was a bit more jumbled to him.
"Yes. I'm fine," he murmured before letting out a breath.
While she was somewhat within arms reach, he lashed out to try and get her quick.

Phone snapped shut was was put away. He was fine, which was very good to hear. Hands clapping together, the trick or treater smiled as he dove for her again. maybe he was less a ninja and more a bishonen? Ohhhh maybe he was even a tsundere bishonen! His ghoul friend must be adorable!

This wasn't working. Especially when she ended up flipping a bench and hitting him in the process. Hissing in pain, he staggered back while gripping onto the pin. Alright. Time to shadowstep. Or at least try to.
Shun disappeared and planned on appearing behind Desu. But he was off his mark by several feet. Dammit. He needed to recalibrate himself some more it seemed.

Before Shun knew it, he was on the receiving end of one hell of a glomp. Hitting the ground hard, he let out a grunt and just, decided to not move from there. Yeah. He was going to need to try and tag Desu later on. Right now as not a good time for him apparently.
For now? He was just content with just..laying there.
