Riyo's ears folded back as she reluctantly took the slice of cake the baku offered her. "Fine.." Was it really that important to the baku that she enjoy at least one kind of cake? Well. Whatever.
The fork was lifted. A small piece was ever-so-delicately separated from the main slice. Riyo wasn't afraid of trying new things, but she was reluctant to eat something she was almost sure would be overpowering to the senses. Not so sweet. Sure...
And the bite was taken.
... It wasn't sweet. It wasn't sweet? A cake that wasn't sweet.
Mind = Blown.
Though not too blown to follow the conversation. This concept was much simpler than she first thought. Quickly, the ghoul pulled out her eyephone and started messing around with the apps. "I have a dictionary app. You can just push the randomize button for a word." The demoness explained, sitting it on the table.

" Do you like the cheesecake, Riyo?" She didn't seem to mind so maybe she actually liked it! Nodding to Xiu, Mitsu looked at her pieces of paper. " I guess I can start then." She took Riyo's phone and pressed the button to generate a word. The first word that popped up had her thinking but she immediately took up her pencil and started to draw. It took her a while but she finally turned the paper around for the two of them to see.  " Now you're supposed to guess what my word is."

Since Mitsu had already asked her question for her, all Xiu did was turn to stare at Riyo with round doe eyes. Did she like the cheesecake!? Although Xiu was most certainly not trying to guilt trip any particular answer from the bakeneko, the hopeful look on her face may have suggested otherwise.
She clapped her hands happily when Riyo announced that she had a dictionary app that they could use, and she patiently sat back (albeit with a tail that was swishing back and forth with excitement) while Mitsu worked on a doodle. When she was done and held it up for them to see, Xiu immediately raised her hand in excitement.
"Oh! It's an..." ...Alligator? Crocodile? What was the difference? Truth be told, Xiu wasn't very sure. After a few seconds ticked past in silence, she offered an uncertain, "...Alligator...?"Inu-Mitsu /o/ YAAAY THANK YOU MITSU @ LINK

Riyo stopped partaking in the cake when she noticed everyone was staring at her. Waiting for some kind of answer. Oh, how Xiu was looking at her with such hope. "It's uh... It's alright." Probably the most positive answer one could've hoped for out of the ghoul eating sweets (that weren't even very sweet). She was impressed by it, though. And perhaps the fact that she was still eating it spoke more than her words could've.
The excitement was hard to miss between the two of them. How exciting could this game possibly be? The feline tapped her now empty plate with the fork while Mitsu was busy doodling. And much like Xiu, Riyo had the same conundrum when the picture was shown.
Since Xiu had guessed alligator... "Crocodile." Or maybe it was a cayman. Eh, whatever. Still much cuter than the real thing.

" Ah, yes it was alligator! Good guess though Riyo. Really I suppose it could be either." She turned the picture around to look at it again. Yeah it was no work of art but it had gotten the idea across. " Who would like to try next?" Mitsu asked eagerly looking between the two ghouls.

Xiu clapped her hands happily, though she knew that it had only been a matter of luck that she had guessed the correct answer. At the question of who wanted to go next, the baku threw up her hand. "I will, I will!" Leaning over, she carefully took Riyo's phone and pressed the button to randomize a word.
...
Hmmm. The baku suddenly frowned, her brows knit together as she considered how in Halloween she was going to get that word across. After a moment or two passed in thoughtful silence, she perked up and began scribbling on a sheet of paper.

Riyo shrugged and rested her head in her hands, allowing Xiu to take the next turn. She had won that round, after all.
The ghoul supposed she could see this as fun. But waiting for the person to finish their scribble was... sort of tedious.
"Uh." Riyo scratched her head as she examined Xiu's drawing. "Is it... A hot pepper?"

" That's a good guess umm," Mitsu stared at the picture uncertain for a moment. Riyo had already chosen hot pepper so maybe she should try..." Fire.....pepper?" Was there even such a thing? Probably not. Mitsu smiled sheepishly and gave a bit of a shrug. It was the best she could come up with on the fly.

WHOOPS she wasn't very good at this drawing thing, was she? Or maybe she just wasn't clear enough with her art? In either case, the baku shook her head, pointing to the picture again. She pointed to the arrows in the middle, and then held up an index finger.
She was trying to point to...the relationship between the two objects...and that she was looking for one word, perhaps?

Riyo's brow furrowed when the baku shook her head. So it wasn't both of the things but some kind of relationship inbetween the two?
"Is it uh... S-spicy?" Maybe? Possibly?

Oops they had gotten it wrong though Mitsu watched what the baku did very carefully. So the arrow wasn't combining the two but...She stared at the single finger Xiu held up. Mitsu obviously wasn't very good at these guessing games. " Uhhh....hot?"

"Right, hot!" Xiu beamed, only to droop a little as a sheepish smile spread over her face. "Sorry about that--I guess I have to work on my drawing skills." She hadn't been sure how to convey her word across aside from how she had drawn it...so maybe that part could use some more work too.
Turning to Riyo, the baku leaned forward with an expectant look in her eyes, handing both the pad of paper and the pencil out to the bakeneko.
"Your turn!"

Riyo put on her grump face when once again her guess was wrong. Hot? How vague. That wasn't fair. Or maybe she was just a very sore loser.
Her hands gathered the paper, pencil, and eyephone to see what she had ended up with. Alright. Well that was easy enough. She could do this.
But... As she put the pencil to paper and looked at Mitsu and Xiu... Looking at her... The feline seemed a little panicked. She'd never drawn anything in front of anyone. Indeed, she enjoyed doodling every once in awhile, but her art certainly didn't reflect it! Uhhh... UHHH.
Riyo bit her lip and started to scribble something, her hand shaking ever so subtly...
Well. Subtle until you looked at her handiwork. She held it up with ears folded back. It looked... Pretty awful.
