Another set of the duskull's winds blew the ninetail's winds harmlessly away. Mephistopheles raised an arm as a pulse of darkness radiated outward.

Unhappy with her attack being blown away Apolla hissed at the other pokemon. Her mouth began to glow red and soon flames were shooting towards Mephisto.

The flames passed harmlessly through Mephistopheles. He raised his arm as another blast of darkness radiated out.

Apolla dodged a bit but hit a bit with the dark pulse. She hissed in pain and looked back at her coat. Was that a dark smudge?! Her head whipped around so she could glare at the duskull. Flames built around her mouth and then shot out towards him.

The flames hungrily devoured the duskull. Another fel wind blew the flames out, and Mephistopheles held up a hand. "Enough. You have won. I have no want to draw out this foregone conclusion. Well done."
Darkness covered the field as Mephistopheles returned to Lenore's side. The darkness faded and Lenore gave a friendly wave and smile to the ninetails and it's trainer before leaving.

Apolla just glared at the other pokemon for a minute before turning to where her trainer was. She quickly walked over to Alexa and looked at the dirty spot. She wanted to be cleaned and groomed now.
Alexa sighed as she patted Apolla's head. "Good job." She said before smiling and waving good bye to Lenore, "And fine let's go get you cleaned up." With that they were out of the stadium heading to a groomers to get Apolla cleaned.
