Everything was working exactly as Phoenixfire had wanted to work. She knew she had little time to act because either Summers could recover or Draven could chose to intervene so what she had up her sleeve would have to happen now. Phoenix quickly turned her back to Brantley and went to attempt a standing moonsault knee drop.

Brantley was in prime position to roll out of the way or get hit by the knee. It seemed that he had taken a liking to the latter as the knee plunged into Brantley's chest. He coughed and gasped for air in pain from the powerful collision.

Phoenix cringed as her knees impacted with Brantley's chest and inched away from her opponent to give her a second or two to catch her breath. Her break would not last for long as she moved to drape herself over opponent and hook his leg for the pin. Such a move was a stretch because she knew Draven would be compelled to intervene and pull her away from Summers or so she hoped. If that didn't happen, Phoenixfire had other plans to keep the upper hand.

He may have been content with watching, but he also wanted to win as well! Phoenix went to hook Summers' leg, and quickly made his way over and attempted to not only grab her by the ankles but also pull her off and away from Summers! Much like she had hoped.

Right on schedule, Phoenix thought to herself as she felt Matt tug her away from Summers by the ankles. She would wait until Draven had released his hold to roll onto her back and aim one of her feet for his leg below the kneecap. Phoenix had no intent on going light on even the champion, even if he shielded her from Summers after his rant at the beginning of the match.

Matt let go of her ankles after he dragged her off, and he ended up getting kicked right in the leg! If it had not been for the fact that he wore knee pads underneath his pants, his knee would be hurting! Not saying his leg did not hurt, just not as much as she seemed to have hoped is all. Nonetheless, he took a couple of steps back.

Phoenixfire kipped up after she was absolutely sure Draven had backed away and wasn't going to follow up with an attack after he had pulled her away from Summers. She waited until she had a sure footing before approaching the champion with her fists at the ready. While Phoenix held no ill will against Draven, she couldn't just act as if pulling her away from her opponent was okay; there had to be a consequence, however minor it was in the grand scheme of things. Phoenix began to lift her arm with fist still clenched and went for a right hook to Draven's chin.

The right hook connected and Matt's head shot to the side, he licked his lips and looked out at the crowd. Should he strike back or should he not? Seemingly coming to a decision Matt attempted to lunge at Phoenixfire. wrap his arms around her midsection, and send her into the air with a belly-to-belly suplex!

Phoenix was delighted that her right hook had found its mark but her delight came to a halt as her opponent's head whipped back around, his face containing a faint hint anger. She had put too much stock in her own abilities and had expected to maintain a lead in this match but the champion but now was facing the consequences for her bullheadedness. Phoenix found herself caught in the path of Draven as he lunged for her midsection and sent her into the air, only to come crashing back down into the mat spine first.

After tossing the woman to the canvas, something he never really thought he would ever do, Matt did a little bit of a kip up and was back on his feet! If she wasn't going to hold back, then he should not either! He darted to the side and rebounded off of the ropes that ran parallel to the downed Phoenixfire, once he was close he would attempt to plant a running leg drop to her face!

Phoenix was still squirming with discomfort after she was driven into the mat spine first when Draven went for a running leg drop to her face. She yelped in pain as the back of his leg met its mark on her face, her hands flying up to shield her face after her opponent removed his leg. Phoenix knew that for now Draven was the dominant force in this match and while her face still ached from the hit she just took, she had no choice but to wait until the pain subsided so she could fight back.

((Nah, it's your fault.))
Brantley had always prided himself as a top notch woman beater, but Draven seemed to just take the cake in this situation. None the less, now back to his feet, Brantley decided to put an end to Draven's actions. Not because he disapproved, but because of sheer jealousy from being upstaged in the match. After the leg drop had connected, Brantley would attempt to run from behind and kick him in the square in the back.

Before Matt was able to regain his footing, Brantley went and landed a rather hard kick to his back! With a surprised yelp upon impact, Matt clenched his fists and arched his back as pain exploded! However, he would roll to the side and get to his hands and knees before attempting to get back up to his feet.

Brantley needed to follow up on the attack before Draven had a chance to make a move on him. Keeping that in mind, Brantley would, as quick as he could, try to get to Draven and attempt a series of stomps, hoping to make sure that he could keep the man down. Brantley knew wearing down Draven would be the priority seeing as he was the bigger threat and in fact, a 'Suicidal Daredevil'.

Before he was able to get up to his feet, Matt was assaulted by a barrage of stomps that did not seemed to be aimed at any particular body part. However, it did force him back down to the canvas! Matt would roll away again, and once again try getting back up to his feet!
