 -l- Shayne Nautte -l- Shayne didn't look up, but stared at the photo, gently running his thumb over the faded face of his butler, Dakurrai. " ... Yes, it's just been so long since I've seen or felt at home..." He said quietly, shaking the thoughts away and he looked up at him suddenly. " ... Nevermind that... What is the being of Dakurrai...?"

-l- Hanubasa Nyte -l- Hanubasa gave a small bow and headed out, waiting by the front door downstairs. " I wonder what has gotten into sir Nautte." She said to herself.

-l- Shayne Nautte -l- When Hanubasa left, Shayne sighed and put the old photograph in a small drawer of his bedside table, clasping his hands together under his chin. He thought about how Dakurrai would act toward him. They were brothers by adoption, but in life, they were two men. In life, Dakurrai was his butler, inclined to do anything he ordered. It was set since the death of the Nauttes. " ... Oh, I hope I will not have to wait alone much longer..." He said to himself quietly. " ... This place can be so lonely..."

-l- Hanubasa Nyte -l- Hanubasa perked up on hearing a knock at the door, and skipped on over to open it and see Belantino standing there, gaze upward. She looked at him oddly. " Are you Belvor?" She asked, a smile on her face.

-l- Belantino Verrat -l- Belantino looked a bit surprised by the way she acted toward him, but figured she was probably a new worker too. It was pretty exciting getting a job in a Mansion anyway, and now they wouldn't be too lonely. He walked in and looked around, admiring the scene. " Thank you." He said, turning to her. " If I'm not mistaken, you are Hanubasa?"

-l- Hanubasa Nyte -l- Hanubasa smiled happily. " Yes, that's me." She said, looking off into the kitchen. " Master wants you to get to work on cooking immediately. I must go retrieve him from his chamber." With that, she turned on her heel and left for the stairwells.

-l- Belantino Verrat -l- Belantino nodded and watched her on her way, making his way to the kitchen where a book was already open for the night's meal. He started up the stove and was working quickly and easily at each task.

-l- Hanubasa Nyte -l- Hanubasa walked down the stairwells slowly, holding Shayne's arm steadily as they came to the main room and Shayne sat in his chair by the window, and Hanubasa left him to get back to her own work of polishing the railings.

-l- Shayne Nautte -l- Shayne sat in his seat by the window, where the night sky was now clear and everything below was coated in ice and snow. He sighed as he stared from the window to the papers on his desk, where he had been writing some time ago.
