Okay, here is my secret.
Sometimes, when I feel like inviting, I will go to the guilds page and search the categories for the most active guilds or guilds that just catch my eye. I browse the guild forums and then the member list to see who is the most active, and I invite them. I only invite the person because I know that they are active on Gaiaonline AND because I think they might be interested in joining an active guild. Many guilds around the site are either large and dead or just plain dead, so I try to do this as a courtesy.
Sometimes when I read the forums, I will invite as well. I don't always post, but if I see your username there and I have not invited you yet, chances are that you will recieve an invite from me at that time.
I'm no bot, and I'm not stalking you. I may have only seen your username on the boards maybe once or twice, but I invited you because you are active somewhere around the site, and I felt you would be a great addition to the wonderful group of members that we already have.
I am dedicated to this guild. I am dedicated to meeting new people around the site and making friends, and I own up to what I say 100%.
So basically, sometimes I invite randomly, albeit sporadically, because I want a chance to meet you and to be your friend. As creepy as that sounds, it really isn't. I am just a really nice person and want to give everyone a chance to be a part of my awesome guild. =)
Trust me. I have had enough experience in this field to know that I can run a guild successfully, and there will not be a day that goes by that I won't post unless it is a busy day with my family and I'm not home.

Okay, Then I would never have been found(stuck in mostly dead guilds, with only a few posts a day on a good week.) Super glad I found this place.

I haven't bothered to check in a while XD I don' go into guilds much any more this is the first time I've actually BEEN in a guild with a few posts other than my own, for a while...

I have gotten blocked one time for sending out a random invitation to someone, but I'm sure it was just more of an excuse for them to be a crabby b***h rather than to turn off their invites like a normal person.

I dunno what my settings are XD I think I may have mine blocked actually XD I at one time almost left gaia so I haven't changed my settings at all *shrug* long story, it's just meh **Edit: They're actually not... O.o

I don't block guild invites because I welcome them rather than discourage them. Gaiaonline is just a website, and I don't think something as small as guild invites should be taken that seriously.
I mean, c'mon. It takes, like, five seconds to hit the decline button when you get invited to something. I have never declined any guild invitation that I have received so far. The more the merrier, actually. The more I post in other guilds, the more people that will be compelled to check out my guild because of my sexy signature, so it's a win-win either way.
