That... that was bitter. Twice she'd caught them, and once for him. It galled him, greatly. The nuzzle he didn't mind, even liked, as it was a sign things were going as he felt they should, but... to be outfished twice, and have her feel she had to help him... But if he showed that, he'd mess up all his plans. All of them. He controlled himself, completely, though he wanted to snarl and show her that she shouldn't treat him like an incompetent. After a moment of silence, he said "Thank you. That is very kind." and took it, heading back to the bank while controlling himself intensely.

"You're welcome... but they know me, and so they swim right up... this was rather unfair of me..." she murmured softly, grinning lightly, and then followed him back, scooping up her own smaller fish. She killed it swiftly with a firm kick to its head after making sure it wasn't a pregnant fish, and then set in on it, eating as daintily as she could. She honestly didn't like eating fish overmuch- the slime coating their scales made her squirm a bit- and she was eying the berry bushes somewhat wistfully. After she'd finished most of her fish, she brought the carcass over to an ant hill, where there were already several picked-clean skeletons, and set it down. It was swarmed within a few moments, and she took one of the cleaned skeletons over to a corner of the glade that was just a hint darker than the rest, and set it down carefully. She glanced up, and smiled at Arctic, moving over to the berry bushes and grabbing a mouthful, happily. "If you're all done with the fish... put it by the ants, if you will? I like to collect bones and things... it's rather interesting to see what they look like..." ((And my girl just told me she collects skeletons as a hobby. Strange quirk for a strange-colored girl, lol. A bit creepy, too.))

He killed his fish with a swift snapping motion, and proceeded to eat it quietly, his eyes focused on the grass as he continued to control his temper. After he finished it, leaving it near bare, he nodded at her request, at least pleased he knew what he could try to give her, if he ever felt the need, as part of his... plan... to get his desires. "Each has their own. And bone can be used to make thinks, if you have the skill, though I have heard it is difficult." He carried the remains to the hill, and dropped it on there.
He then stepped back and stretched, long and slow, making sure every muscle got properly stretched. Ironically, though it showed off his muscles nicely, for once it had nothing to do with looking impressive, and instead only to do with making sure he didn't pull anything. There was no point in looking as good as he did if he hurt himself!

"Hm... I think, perhaps someday I shall give it a try... If you take berries, and smashed them up in a bowl, you can stain the bones different colors..." she smiled softly, and then watched as he stretched, the way his muscles moved under his hide. He was... quite attractive, really...

"Interesting... I didn't, nor really wouldn't, know about that. I never tried. Not much of a crafter, I admit." No point in pretending to be what he wasn't... THAT would just come back to bite his tail. Better to be honest in what he did... Just tell the truth with care, so it... sounded good. He shook himself, once, after stretching, and nodded. "But it makes sense, I suppose, since they can make one's tongue look different colored." He flickered his tongue through the air for a moment, the pinkish red flesh flashing in the light for a second.

Leaning over, Snap giggled, nudging his side. "Mhmm... hm... I rather like that tongue of yours..." she smiled, winking flirtatiously at him. She felt a mite odd- had she perhaps eaten a rotten berry or three? She shook her head, deciding it didn't bother her, really, and moved closer, grinning broadly.

He blinked, then grinned back at her. Well this was a little unexpected, but pleasant. She was making this so easy for him! Conquest nearly done... at least so it seemed to him. "Weeeeeeeeeeeell I admit... it IS a rather clever tongue, I shan't lie..." He flickered it out, teasingly, all the while congratulating himself, internally, on that clever double meaning.

Snap chuckled, leaning over, and catching his tongue teasingly before letting go, and dancing away, off into the underbrush. She'd decided that she liked this buck, quite a bit, and that she'd lead him on a merry chase, and see where the night took her... ((Hehe... finished, methinks?))
