Peach Girl. Seriously, peach Girl all the way, that or Tokyo Mew Mew...or erm, geez, I don't know....My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic?

Peach Girl: Read it, but how does the anime compare?
Tokyo Mew Mew: Read it, again, how does the anime compare?
MLP: *facepalm* No thank you. I've watched a few episodes and didn't like it.

Oh, well everyone's got their own personal flow of things.
As for PG, I haven't read the manga myself, but I would say the anime does pretty well in terms of English VAs. The only problem I have with it is the men having lips. It just looks...AWKWARD for anime!
TMM: I haven't read the manga like I said before, but the anime is darn well! I wouldn't recommend the English Dubbed Version though, it ran through maybe 20 episodes then cancelled...You should have seen the named they gave to the characters! /secret laugh

But I like it, I'm on episode forty of TMM, but kind deserted it because my internet went down. I actually may have forgotten which episode I was on, but Japanese is the way to go for TMM! I haven't watched the Japanese original dub of PG, rather the English version, since I was working on stuff at the time, it was nice to listen to.

Outlaw Star is a scifi show. A bit cutesy. I didn't watch all of it as the spaceship they flew had an arm that punched other ships...I avoid shows like that...Gundam and such... However it was good otherwise and I am considering going back to it at some point.

Ok, I'll keep an eye out for it.

Krego-sama
Hajime no Ippo is about boxing. I'm not a sports fan, so I should not have liked it, but my brother told me it is unexplainably enjoyable, and he is right. Initial D is the same.

Sounds a bit like Big Windup! I'll take a look-see at it.

Krego-sama
Appleseed I have not seen yet, but it was the favorite anime of my best friend in high school.

Know anything else about it besides that?

Krego-sama
Fate Stay Night I have not seen either, but it's one of those shows people keep telling me to see, so I imagine it must be pretty good.

I'll keep an eye out for this one, too.

Krego-sama
Hidamari Sketch is about the lives of girls in a Japanese art school. The manga is unusual in that each page has two, four panel comic sketches, each with it's own punchline.

Like Azumanga Daioh?

Krego-sama
Hare+Guu is one of my favorite shows. It is also the strangest anime I have ever seen. It is absolutely hilarious though. More than that is hard to explain. You need to watch it to understand.

It's not like Excel Saga, is it? Dear god, I couldn't take another bout of that.

Krego-sama
Tide-Line Blue takes place on a post appocolyptic Earth that is almost entirely covered in water. The main character is a young man, and a gambler, who is basically in love with a pregnant woman who is clearly a few years older than him. Most of the show he is trying to help her and her baby survive. It's a nice story.

I like the sound of this one. Is it new or old?

I know nothing more about Applseed except that it looks like a Sci-fi.

I do not know what Azumanga Daioh is.

I have not seen Excel Saga, but I'm almost positive this show is more strange. That being said, Hare+Guu is more of a kids show. Probably the show I can most compare it to is Animaniacs, at least as far as the style of random humor. I'm telling you though.... very very funny regardless of your age.

Tide-Line Blue originally aired in 2005.

Erryn Lovelace
Hmm....I can point out some old ones that I watch. Well, I don't know if they're that old, but the style they were made seems to be old-ish. Let's see....

Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann
Noein
Ravemaster (Might be Rave Master)

Other then that, I have a few others. Like....

Code Geass (Both seasons)
Tactics
Aishiteruze Baby
Ouran High School Host Club
Devil May Cry
High School of the Dead
Baka to Test to Shoukanjuu
Chrono Crusade
Durarara!!
InuYasha

That's all I got unless you're into yaoi. Which, by the way, is a sub-genre of Black Butler. Oh, have you seen both seasons of Black Butler? You can find all these things on YouTube or AnimeFreak. Tactics is tricky....Still looking for a place that has it. -.-

Most of those I've seen. I think you can find Tactics on Hulu in Japanese, but it's been a month since I last looked through their library, so I'm not sure.

Yes, I've seen both seasons of Black Butler. I was so pissed off when I started the second season because of friggin' Claus randomly tapdancing. I mean, come on. We get twenty-four episodes of Sebastian being a bad-a**, so who's this glasses character think he is, tapdancing while setting the table?

How is yaoi a subgenre of Black Butler? I am thoroughly confused by this statement.

One Piece: Seen it, now bored by it

The others I've tried watching, but wasn't impressed. I tend to like stuff that's got really complex storylines and beautiful, smoothly animated visuals. My current top favorites are Guilty Crown, Baccano!, and Blue Exorcist.

Tide-Line Blue originally aired in 2005.

Azumanga Daioh is also a manga that's done in 4-panel comic strips by Kiyohiko Azuma. She did Yostuba&!, also. Same kind of concept except the setting is high school and one of the students is a ten-year-old girl genius. Each volume covers one year of school, so there's four volumes. It's pretty funny, check it out if you have the chance.

People tend to be pretty divided on whether Excel Saga is awesome or crappy. I fall on the crappy side of the debate, because it's so obnoxiously over-the-top. It's about this girl who's part of a secret organization to take over the world that decides they must first conquer a specific city. The leader of the organization is the mysterious type, and the girl is a doofus who predictably gets herself into trouble.

I think I'll look up Tide-Line Blue, that sounds interesting.

"At Kaimei High School, the Living Assistance Club (aka the SKET Dan) was organized to help students with problems big or small. Most of the time, though, they hang out in their club room, bored, with only a few trivial problems floating in every once in a while. In spite of this, they still throw all their energy into solving these worries. - Anime Access"

My own personal input:
HILARIOUS . SHOW . EVER!!!
xP
Student life. Weird club versus Student Council. Eccentric characters. Shounen genre. Uber extreme humour. What's more to say? xD
...-And if you like Gackt, he's even a seiyuu for one of the characters xD

By the way, Kenta Shinohara (SketDance mangaka) is a former assistant of Hideaki Sorachi (Gintama mangaka) hence the Cross-Over between those two xP
Shinohara also made a cameo appearance in the Sket Dance anime xD

Actually, I just finished watching the anime Mirai Nikki (Future Diary) and have to say it was good. If you are into Supernatural, Psychological, Thriller type anime, I recommend you watch it. If not then there is another anime called High School of the Dead, if you have seen it, then obviously, there is no need for me to tell you about. If not, all I can is, it is pretty good to me. It deals with an zombie outbreak and well high schoolers.

▣▣▣▣▣▣▣▣▣▣

Ah. I read a few chapters. Then started to get lost in the plot with the sudden appearances of other diary owners and stuff. And that Yuno girl is wayyyy scary xD I mean, her blank expressionless face when -beep-spoiler-beep- other owners ... like whoa xD Either way, I don't really dig the complexity of parallel universes and stuff. But I sincerely applaud you for your capability in understanding the storyline! (^O^)

lol At first it was a little hard for me to get into, but after about the first five episodes, I started to really enjoy. Honestly, in the beginning I didn't really like Yuno, but by the time it ended, I had grown to love her.

Even if she killed her parallel self, and tried to kill Yuki as well.

Durarara----Probably my number one anime from the year which it was released and still one of my top ten favourites. The style of animation is pretty, the story keeps the viewer watching and the music is enjoyable. There is a character for almost everyone in this anime and the vast cast of vocal talents really give this anime an edge. (Both Dubbed and Subbed) While the show may seem a bit slow at the start it is definitely worth watching. It is one of those ‘Everything pieces together’ types of stories. Genre; Action, Supernatural, Romance.

Wolfs Rain----A rather dark anime that doesn’t really have a happy ending. Well, at least it didn’t seem that way but that is just my opinion. Nevertheless, its characters are all easy to love, the story is different from most other stories and that is always something to enjoy and hard to come by. The artwork is usually pretty and can capture the viewer’s imagination. However, I found it boring at times and hard to keep watching…though I have to say I was very happy when I watched it to the very end. Genre; Adventure, Post-apocalyptic, Supernatural

Cowboy Bepop----Sometimes the classics are what it is all about and Cowboy Bepop is a damn good classic. It has a huge fan base which is ever growing, and there have even been rumours about it being turned into a live action film. (One only hopes, if that is the case, that they do it good) The story essentially revolves around the lives of the crew aboard the Bepop ship and the wacky situations they often find their selves in. However, there is also to mystery behind the main character, Spikes, past, which is explored more as the anime goes on. Definitely one of my favourites. Genre; Crime Fiction, Science Fiction Film Noir, Space Western

Ghost Hunt----If you are into ghosts, mystery and being slightly spooked, then perhaps you should give this anime a try. Pretty animations and characters that are all easily loved; Ghost Hunt is definitely worth a shot. The story is mostly told through the eyes of a young school girl as she ventures into the worlds of Psychics and ghost hunters while discovering her very own talents. The anime is done in arcs which are usually 4-5 episodes long. Highly enjoyable though wasn’t scary enough to keep me from sleeping. Genre: Comedy, Mystery, Drama, Horror, Supernatural.

Hanbun no Tsuki ga Noboru Sora----A very short (only 6 episodes long) but heart touching anime that revolves around the budding love of two teenage hospital patients. If you like Clannad you will most likely love this. The art is clean and provides plenty of eye candy with its flowing landscapes and scenery. You may need a box of tissues at hand for this. Genre: Drama, Romance

Skip Beat----Quirky little anime about a young girl of 16, who discovers that her childhood friend and romantic goal, Sho Fuwa, only keeps her around to act as a maid and earn his living expenses, as he works his way to become the top pop idol in Japan.. One of my favourites and one I recommend to those seeking a bit of a laugh and some inspiration. The style of art remains rather true to the manga (which can be found on Mangareader) and is worth seeing in action. Genre: Romantic comedy, Showbiz

Others I suggest are:
Kaichou wa Maid-Sama
Uta No Prinice-Sama ((Great songs and a great cast of voice actors in this one))
Nodame Cantabile ((I actually wated the live action version...highly amusing and very funny. Can be found on Dramacrazy. net))
Kyou Kara Maou
Elfen Lied
Air
.Hack

If you are looking for brand new anime then try here for suggestions and lists. I would have added websites for each anime..but in all honesty, all you have to do is type the anime name in Google and one will be sure to pop up~

Links to places I can watch said series would be appreciated. Dubs or subs, doesn't matter which. I've already worked through stuff like Black Butler, Blue Exorcist, Xam'd, Ergo Proxy, Dragonauts, Occult Academy, and Guilty Crown (which is a totally awesome series for people who haven't seen it. For those who are interested). Anything new or old that you enjoyed watching is good for a recommendation..

If you're wondering whether it has to have been created and animated in Japan, no, I'll take show suggestions that are anime-style from other countries. Does it have to be animated at all? Erm... I guess not. But I usually am not interested in live-action dramas or sitcoms.

Well I was mainly focused on the animation part. Anime wise... Ghost in the Shell, Moribito, Record of Lodoss War the original, Gurren Lagann, Black Lagoon... The only one I'm watching now is Deadman Wonderland, but I'm not a huge fan of it.

Non- japanese animation I've enjoyed so far would be... The two avatar series, the Maxx (In general, my favorite series), Boondocks, Black Dynamite, Young Justice, JLA/JLU and any of the Batman series are all pretty easy to enjoy. Some of them are not as fluid to an over-all storyline but like the animated Batman won a bunch of emmies for just classic story telling and drama.

Live action though, there has become lots of popular shows that you've probably already heard about. Walking Dead is really neat, I like Breaking Bad. Anything from HBO is solid. Sci fi wise, everyone gasms for Supernatural and Doctor Who from what I can tell. If its possible to find the original Ninja Warrior competitions, I'd say watch those. Its surprisingly addicting.
