Bix softened and laughed. "C'mon." He spun in his chair and gave her a little shake of the shoulders. "It's not all as dramatic as that. I was just teasing. Thanks for putting the aloe on me.."

He grabbed his tank top and put it teeeeenderly over his shoulders. "You don't really go Hulk. I don't even think I have ever seen you get mad. Do you get mad??" He was trying to push through the verge-of-tears mode. She was very easily brought to them and he was figuring out that his jokes apparently upset her. He frowned a little, hoping she didn't see.

"Remember I wanted to tell you? About... " he looked around conspiratorially. "The.. thing with Caelius? Just get comfy.. ummm mi casa err soo caza?" he obviously wasn't much for spanish. It was pretty butchered.

Bix got up from his desk chair and pushed it back into his desk. He rummaged in a drawer for less than a second before he pulled out the envelope and slip of paper.

"So I turned in a blank list and he just went beserk." Bix made a face, indicating how unpleasant that had been. "Then he I dunno he stopped and looked at me and then just knocked me out. At least I think that's what happened." There was still a nice noticable lump on his head. He was doing a good job of ignoring the throbbing low pain.

"When I woke up there was this." Bix handed over the tiny slip of paper, ripped off the bottom of something larger.

- looking back at everything in my line of duty, about all that was given to me, I know without a doubt that I do not regret my decisions, not now, not ever. It is my responsibility to be a leader, but the difference between a good leader and a great one is the way they treat those around them.

"Kind of funny, considering how Caelius acts.." The albino scratched his cheek, leaving a pink line for the next few minutes. "Who do you think it's from.. I am assuming it's my relative." Was the F for ... Ferdinand?

Bix sighed. "Kind of a ripoff though. I'm glad I didn't turn anyone in. I realized that I... just couldn't do it." He gave an embarrassed smile. "I guess I'm not much of a tough guy."

"I was thinking that too.." he took back the slip of paper and looked at it again. Sometimes he thought if he stared at it long enough, the secret would just fit together somehow. "But we could be just be assuming connections." he smiled a bit.

"I know I know.." He responded about the tough guy comment. "Just I don't feel like one ever. So I thought maybe.. " Bix frowned. "I dunno what I thought. Either way, I'm glad I didn't."

The young man stood up finally, after a moment of quiet, and went to put the paper away. After it was tucked away, the stress of thinking of it seemed to melt. He was honestly just happy to hang out with Molly, even if it was like pulling teeth to get her to agree to stay in his room.

"Let me get you something to wear.. hold on." He didn't leave it up to a question, doing that would just have her refusing. He was quick about moving to his drawer and because of his wonderful organizational skills there wasn't much looking. He pulled out a green t-shirt and some drawstring shorts. They would be big on her but comfy.

"BAM!" Bix pulled the shirt tight to show her with a grin. "GREEN ARROW.. yeah? Yeah?" Bix walked over, handed it out but then jiggled it around a moment before he dropped it into the girl's lap.

When she came back, Bix had his shirt off again. He was mostly fussing with pillows and blankets but it looked like he was ready to bed down.

"Of course you do. Archer super hero?" Bix started pointing at himself like a goof. She looked adorable in his clothes and the albino grinned, he couldn't help it. When the Bix blushed again, the red travelled down his neck and chest a bit. "Why don't you keep it. It's a present. I INSIST." He grinned and said the last words very pointedly.

>.> There was a new design in the store... he could pick up a new one.

Bix turned away again, bearing his sunburnt and scarred back to her while he grabbed pillows. "Are you sure you won't sleep in the bed?" He did seem earnest in his request. "I can take the floor, really. You're.. a lady. A woman. You shouldn't sleep on the floor."

The pillows were held aloft, as he waited to hear her verdict on it.

Bix watched her dive, surprised at her speed when moved to it. "Well then.." Bix tossed her a pillow. "Move over then because I can't be rude like that so I'll sleep on the floor too."

The albino slammed some pillows down on the side closest to his bed. She was nearer to the door. The best part about his giant blanket was that it was.... GIANT. "You better not grope me in the night, Miss Molly.." He teased with a smirk.

"Just kidding, you can if you want." It was a comically loud whisper, accompanied by a poke into her blanket pile. Bix didn't really give her a chance to argue though. He plopped down flat and pulled a sheet overtop of himself. There was a good foot between them. He didn't want to seem untoward especially after his humiliating ramble the last time he'd seen her and then end of their date that he didn't like thinking about. Perhaps it was the mission that had really broken his confidence, but either way he stayed where he was for the time being.

After a few moments of fussing with blankets and the way he was positioned, Bix leaned up with a groan of sunburn stretching and flipped out the light. The moonlight made his skin almost glow and he could just about make out a half of Molly's freckled cheek in the dark. Tiny dots of light marked her eyes.

Every sleepover ever, from the beginning of time, had this simple phrase whispered.

"Hey.. Are you tired?" Bix turned so he was facing Molly's across the gap between them. Half of his pale face lit in the moonlight.

He wasn't sleepy for various reasons. Burning sunburn was a good enough reason. The girl you like sleeping in your room like a foot away was also another reason.

"I don't want to bother you.. if you're trying to sleep." He just wasn't tired right now.

"No no.." Bix nodded his head, the pillow rustling under his head in the dark. "Well my skin hurts. That doesn't help but.. nothing really wrong. Something about the dark made it easy to say things. Like they were secrets. Even the shakiest confidence was somehow bolstered, just by a bit of whispering in the dark.

"I'm glad you stayed. I wouldn't feel right you sleeping out there and.. I always have a good time with you. I just like being with you I guess." He didn't mean for it to sound as overt as it did but it was too late when it came out of his mouth.

"I felt like an idiot for how I acted on that mission and after that mission.." He trailed off.
