Erik went back to work, checking on Aid, just being more quiet than his usual self, as he wrote down a date when his friend could start therapy. Hooking the clipboard to the end of the bed he walked away quietly as Aid slept before cleaning up. His tail frizzed every time he though of Corbin, shaking his head as he brushed it back down, careful of his phoenix feathers. Sometimes he wondered if that was the reason what he was so small and helpless as he looked at one of them, sighing. "Like pulling them out would make me any bigger..." He spoke quietly to himself before blushing, remembering how Corbin called him sexy. He still couldn't see how childlike he looked could be considered sexy. It started to aggravate him again and seeing how the halfbreed was ignoring him only made him miserable, he never expected that being annoyed by the male would make him happy. Taking a seat inside his office he started to work on some more papers the best he could. "Corbin...Such a Moron..." He muttered to himself. "Why are you the one to waver my feelings..."

Erik was a bit startled as Corbin came in and spoke to him, just hearing him not be his cheery self made his heart break. Did he really upset the halfbreed that much. It made him feel like his old childish self when he use to be shy and cry a lot. He looked down debating on answering him as he gave a heartbroken frown. getting up from his seat after Corbin started to leave he hesitated for a few seconds on moving before he ran out trying to spot the male. He opened his mouth but no words came out as he clenched his fist and looked back down. He though then that approaching him would probably make things worse, he already hurt him enough. Turning to walk back to his office he wished he wasn't afraid to tell him sorry.

Erik sighed as he finished his paperwork for the next few months, his heart ached and he hated wanting to have Corbin nuzzle him again. Shaking his head trying to forget he figured a shower may help clear his mind. Taking a clean pair of casual clothes towel and shampoo he glanced around before putting a sign on his door to let other know he was out for a while. He made his way to the public showers on base, placing his stuff in the baskets on the wall where you could slip a paper with you name on it. He never thought the reason to put a name on his as he just got undressed, grabbing out a wash cloth and his shampoo walking over as he started the shower to clean himself off. It was empty or so he thought. He never expected anyone to take a shower at this time. He froze when he heard someone else come in, wrapping his wings around himself to cover his body up. "H-who's there?' he panicked.

It felt like an arrow hit his heart finding out it was Corbin. "N-no! i didn't mean!.." He tried to stop Corbin this time only to slip from the floors soapy surface having him fall backwards hitting his head on the faucet that turned the water on for the shower he was in. He curled up holding the back of his head, thinking how stupid he was as he couldn't help but cry. His heart ached and how his head hurt.

He knew he didn't fall hard enough to bust his head open but he knew it was going to hurt for awhile, but not as bad as he hurt emotionally. he wiped his face trying to stop the tears before hitting Corbin in the side. "It's all you fault! Why you of all people! Why did you have to waver my feeling!" He didn't know why he was just admitting it, he was upset, hurt and he wanted to take it out on Corbin. "I never asked you to stop being the way you were! I never said I hated it!"

"You're frustrating and annoying, but at least you don't try to hurt or rape me . I'm not sure to such affection..." He lowered his head as his wet hair slipped over his face. "I've lost to much...if I ..." He started to calm down some having do idea why he was telling him anything. "I don't want to have feelings for anyone only to loose them........it hurts to much." He glanced up just slightly from under his wet hair. "It hurts enough having you hate me..."

Erik only frowned more realizing it was all his fault. "I'm sorry...can you be your cheerful self again? I can't promise I won't fight back, but.....after awhile it felt a but fun, like a game." He blushed again. Why in the hell would he mention that of all things. He was embarrassed now but at least he stopped crying. "I became a doctor because I wanted to save lives, I don't want to see anymore people suffering or dieing. I don't want to ....to...see you hurt."

His wet fur frizzed at that scruffy feeling as he held himself from pushing Corbin away. "I couldn't...I don't' think I could handle being your doctor, i can barely handle mending my big brother when he gets hurt." He fidgeted. "Fine, fine, I'll go on a date with you, but no word of this to anyone else." He surrendered, just having Corbin ignore him earlier already had him quite submissive to the halfbreed. He didn't want Corbin to be like that around him again."Moron..." He mumbled quietly to himself as he finally let himself give a soft smile.
