Moving his hand from his book, Blitz shifted it to the goblet that rested on the table at comfortable reach. Gingerly with out shifting his eye from the book, Blitz swirled the dark liquid with a careful motion of his hand, before moving the rim of the glass to his lips. Turning his head slightly, he tilted the glass just a bit back.
Setting the Glass down, his bare hand shifted to Kreig, and the top his fang maw. Resting his hand on his nose, he let his fingers tap rhythmic in a fall from pointer finger to pinky.
Taking in a soft deep breath-taking care to use his mouth and not his nose-to avoid smell. His head turned to cast a teal eye at the man across from him-who -insisted- on staying. His book only slightly lowered as their was no change in emotion from the calm male's face.
Watching the Male across form him, Blitz's fine jaw tilted just a little upward as he 'read' the requesting man before him taking care of the Hiss and bared fangs that left Kreig. His eye seemed to narrow slightly in contemplation to even answer the worn man.
"Does a stranger ask another, why they are troubled?" Blitz spoke, catching the mutter, but just faintly and not completely. Only as his ears perked seeing his lips move as they (his ears), did have to cope with the slack his single 'dead' eye made.

Rhett raised his mug at Talon's words about his 'fun' not being by choice, a weird seriousness added to that exhausted smirk of his. "I hear that." Granted.. he can't say he's gotten many snuggles. Or much love at all.
"Oh?" Curiosity drew him to look at the spider with a little more intensity than the glance he'd given it before. The signal was coming from in here somewhere, even if it was faint. It could very well be this little quirky thing rather than the organoid 'someone' was so intent on it being. "Where'd you find it? Any place unique?"
Talk about trying to open a can of worms with someone like Talon...
Blitz's words turned Rhett's attention back, his chin settling back on his crossed arms.
"Why wouldn't a stranger ask another why they are troubled? Perhaps they are too busy with their own lives to inquire into the depths another is submerged within?" Well that was a strain. Rhett probably didn't know he knew that many synonyms and metaphors even if it was just a sentence. He certainly wouldn't keep that up, but Blitz was a funny guy to him.
A twinge of his headache creased his brow again as another pang bothered him.
"A friend of mine thinks he knows your friend, is all. I was curious." His smirk faded some, his expression a gentle..ish neutral. He didn't seem like a bad guy, not from this interaction. Just off.

Talon quirked an eyebrow, " 'Unique'... That's a funny word. " He then spent some good time quiet and enjoying that heady buzz from consuming too much in a short amount of time. " Other keywords include ' Dangerous', ' Ingenious,' 'Dusty, ' and 'amazing'. " The part where it was infested with absolute nightmares was left out conveniently. The spider hissed and chilled out , content to just tick once or twice on the glass with its smaller legs trapped inside.
Now Talon was absolutely curious and distrusting of this man. For one he asked too many questions. Two, he didn't like how pointed the questions were. And Three... The republican solider didn't seem amused. He found himself smiling at the rhetoric. This was going to be a good show. Or at least a show worth having good seats for.
At this point he couldn't decide. A few more drinks, or a glass of water. The later sounded far more agreeable. In fact, he should probably just stop drinking in general. He coughed up, and couldn't handle the nonsense. " He was asking why are you bothering him. So please, do tell the class why you smell like something dragged in s**t, and bothering the lad with the fancy organoid. "

Kreig had remained silent but in tuned to the conversation between the pilots. Something about the 'smelly' one bothered every circuit within the raptor organoid and it was all the more troublesome that he could not pin exactly why he was so troubled. The pointed questions seemed so minor compared to the real irritation.
"Why wouldn't indeed when someone so strange would inquire about something he himself clearly has no interest in." Kreig finally snapped. His feathers perked forward as the larger claws on his toes begun to tap the ground rhythmically. "Or rather has interest for all the wrong reasons."
Azure eyes flashed before he arched his head protectively over Blitz's shoulder. The bull organoid from across the room snorted another warning, gaining the attention of the owner as well. The elderly man watched the group carefully as he paused in cleaning a glass mug to place a hand on the bull's forehead.
The organoid couldn't help but feel thankful the other being engaged in the conversation seemed to be on top of things. Good sense, and still had that strange appeal to the mechanical creature... It had to have been the hair.

Looking at the sitting male across from him, Blitz's teal eye shifted over to the other across the way and at the next table then back to Kreig.(It was accomplished easier then normal as his head didn't need to turn to see most of everyone...)
How curious.
Letting out a breath, Blitz folded his book closed and rest on top of his tattered journal. Picking up the bottle of red on the table, his other hand reached for his goblet. Pulling them both closer he-with out sloshing-poured the drink as the three spoke to each other. Nipped at each other with words.
Taking in a breath he let the dark bottle rest back on the table as he leaned back in his chair-he swirled the clear cup one more.
Hearing Rhett's turn of phrase, it caused a eyebrow to raise. Yes...that, and one didn't want to be trudged into another's bad luck-epically when they had their own to wade through. Then the other spoke of words and a rough translation of the one he had just released. This was all so much fun, he almost didn't want to comment as it might be all the more amusing to watch...
But still, it would do the reputation damage to not say something....
"Sounds like you have strange and 'unique' friend, perhaps they might be mistaken..." Mischief suggested, as Kreig hasn't left the core of Squall until recently. How could he be known, by someone that even Blitz didn't know. Taking a sip of his glass, he then let the crystal sit upon the rough wooden table.
"Also, It seems...perhaps we all need something a bit harder to drink..." Masters then spoke making a glance over to the bar, he really wasn't in the mood to get thrown out of a bar-as amusing as it might be. He had just gotten off of work...

Rhett chuckled tiredly at Talon. It probably would have been a full laugh if he wasn't so tired and didn't have the voice in his head demanding things every couple of seconds. He leaned his head back, tipping the last of his mug of beer into his (likely just as dirty) mouth. Now that's gross. It couldn't be always that he's this disgusting considering he had all his teeth still.
"Oh? I see. I'm not much one for rhymes and such." He admitted, as if it wasn't already obvious. The waitress's rounds led to him raising his mug for a refill, though he considered ordering something stronger at Blitz's suggestion. Water wasn't an option. He'd rather be unconscious right now than sober. "Why wouldn't I want to bother the 'lad with the fancy organoid'? It's like.. bringing the best toy to show and tell. Everyone wants to see."
Granted, in this case 'everyone' was just one tipsy, stinky, clumsy man.
"Well." He sat up a little bit as if to tell a story. "Lets just say I cover a lot of ground in a very short amount of time and showers of any method are a luxury that can't always be afforded." At least that was a hint into the truth, though the real truth would be more like the dictator thinks humans spend too much time doing humanly things.
"Naw," Rhett waved a hand jovially at Blitz's suggestion, dismissing the idea entirely. "Maybe strange I guess, but I think this guy here wins on the unique. He doesn't feel completely unique though. Just a hint of it. Like perhaps you've run into something fun before." ....Wait, what?

There wasn't much Talon could do right now. He was amused, and surprised that the mug wasn't covered in dirt. Or filth. Or swarmed with flies. Tacker by now had given up his fight against the evil oppressor, and once that glass was lifted, crawled onto Talon and rested comfortably on his shoulder.
He eyed the organoid that was watching him. Why did that look make him uneasy? And why did he have the feeling that he should run away very quickly. He was half paying attention to most folks right now. " Ah? I decline, but indeed a stronger drink would be more appropriate for the heavy topic."
Talon eyed Rhett a few more moments. Fun? It seemed like everyone here ran into something 'fun'. Pouring the last of his drink into his glass, Talon's lips curled into a snarl. There wasn't enough drink for this topic, " Define 'fun'. ".

Kreig didn't have to worry about the horrors of bodily odors as his metallic one produced none of its own. But he was wholly aware of what filth looked like and the being 'tormenting' his partner was the picture perfect image of it. Something about him was so offsetting that the large claw on his left toe refused to cease tapping the ground. Perhaps it was just his filth and over questionable demeanor... Regardless, it was troublesome to even a mechanical being.
"Far from bringing a mere toy to 'show'." Kreig retorted coolly. "And as far as your bathing habits are concerned I am sure there is a -free- shower just out those doors and to the back of these facilities that you can make wonderful use of..."
True, the owner had cleverly installed an outdoor shower that consisted of a hose and a large barrel full of cold water for his more intoxicated guests.
Speaking, Blitz's suggestion of 'harder' drinks earned a side glance. Oh, like he was going to be responsible for being the designated driver. At least for him. Perhaps that other lad's spider-thing could be for him... and the owner would do good to toss the drunken sack of dirt into the cold water barrel.
Attention turned back to the dirty one at Talon's inquiry of what the other had meant by 'fun'. A curious fellow. The feathers on his head twitched as he waited the answer. This should be good....

Master's let his single eye shifted to the three other males, as the suggestion was seemingly over looked. A shoulder shrugged to the male sitting on the unruly backwards chair. His un-gloved hand, moved to his glass as he just calmly listened to the males around him. Taking a casual sip of the ruby liquid, he let the glass rim rest at his chin. His callous hand poised the cool glass as his pointer finger lightly tapped the bowled rim.
As Rhett spoke of Rhymes and such', Blitz gave a chuckle and let his eyes close. Swaying his head in a slight motion he set the glass down upon the worn wood table. Now, Rhyming...that was something Blitz could do
"' I was angry with my friend; I told my wrath, my wrath did end...." The word rumbled darkly from Mischeif masters as a smirk tugged at the corner of his lips. "I was angry with my foe,I told it not, my wrath did grow." Blitz continued as his head turned at a curious tilt to he other Male across the way as a obvious 'discomfort' showed upon his expression...a angry one, but still uncomfortable.
Master's did how ever halt the poetry-not his own, but still drove a point across as he looked back curiously to the man and his refill of beer. "tell me, where is this, ' not so unique, but strange friend' of yours?" Blitz spoke with a question of intrigue, his thumb had found it's place under his forefinger tugging at the tuff of his carefully trimmed goatee.
Though the male was partically blind, he still had one good eye to tell him that the 'trouble stranger' was seemingly alone.
It was curious to him....
Was the man insane? Trouble more then physically? Wait! Haunted! Perhaps by a ghost that would foretell death of the family-only to be betrayed by a son. Or, more realistically....was there another that the could not see-or close by? Perhaps, after all...Blitz had just met this man, and Kreig had just the same.
Looking back to the male with the spider, Mischief's head tilted to him. "I am sure he isn't talking about colorful ballpits, and strippers..." Blitz bluntly spoke, before taking the glass to his lips once more.
Nodding to Kreig, he raised his glass in a offer of agreement. Not bad. There was a shower in the back.

Opening the heavy door of the bar, and taking a tired step off to the side, The un-gloved worked tan hands of a well known Merchant,. His booted heal held the door open, as his hand gesture to his 'associate', welcoming her inside with a little bow of his head. A grin reflected on his lips as gold eyes peered past a set of worn spectacles, to rest on the woman with him. His bright gaze seemed to reassure her as he watched her own carefull. The tattered Male, might have looked as if he just rolled out of a sandstorm, but he still knew that it was polite to hold a door open for a woman. Especially this woman.
Regents hair no longer held the messy-nested dreads that had once adorn his crown. But now, was straight and at it's more natural appeal Long white bangs skillfully-but loosely-were kept back by a tie that rested on the back of his head. The once long unkept bread, was now braided in a set of two strands that dangled from his chin freely.
The scar that was so deeply misplace across his face, did nothing to hinder the parted smile that rested on his lips. He had noticed the bar wasn't as busy had it been in the past. And admittedly his business wasn't the only thing that had fallen on hard times.
"Did you want to find us a table, my dear?" Regal asked with a grin, A slight sigh left his lips as only the bartender at a glance was the only one that he had recognized. Perhaps it was for the best. A chance from new costumers!

The scruffy man's 'associate' reluctantly passed the threshold of the door after she was carefully assured. [Risk], aptly named by other rogues that had found her strange temper swings a 'risk' to be around, rolled her own golden eyes as she passed the man. Her jaw tensed at his suggestion. Of course she didn't want to find a seat, of course she didn't want to be at such a place. However, she didn't wish to to argue with the man.
Contrasting bleached blond cornrows swayed delicately as she turned on a heel and headed toward an abandoned dark corner of the bar. A gloved hand tenderly grabbed hold of one of the braids on Regent's chin as she turned, and just as tenderly let her fingers slide down the interlocked hair as she moved away. Her dark copper skin practically vanished against the dimmer lighting while her snow-white tribal tats seemed to almost glow defiantly against the camouflage.
Golden eyes scanned the bar suspiciously. Every human in the world was a potential threat and Risk was always as sure to be prepared for anything. Her gaze quite frequently returned to regent as if she expected him to try and escape her at any moment.

wahmbulance (( If anyone wants to interact with Regent or Risk fill free, as we will create a turn order. But! If there is no posting with in three days, we will move on....^-^ -Thanks.)) wahmbulance
A soft chuckle left Regent as he watched Risk's gaze roll. Of course, he knew she didn't want to be in such a place-but there was 'business' to attended to. His own yellow eyes, couldn't help but drop to Risk's figure as she turned and swayed away to a table. Though that sharp gaze rose from it's distraction as he felt the light little tug and touch of one of his braids. It caused a soft smile to rest on the more rambunctious one he had held. Without anymore of a coxing, Regent's feet seemed puppet-ed as he fallowed along after her.
His gaze however did find breath, as he looked to the bar as he saw the familiar tender. Nodding to the barkeep, he offered a greeting grin-signalling his regular order-His hand raised to gestured his finger to let him know 'pulse one more'. Shifting his hand to the worn wooden chair, Regent pulled it out to take at sit next to Risk who stood near the table.
Folding his hands together, The Marchent let his elbows perch on the table as his interlocked finger's cradled his scuffed chin. Gold eyes looked up to the dark woman beside him.
"You know," Regent mused with a smile. "I wouldn't mind you ever taking your eyes off of me." the Male smiled. "As you're welcomed to enjoy the view all you like, lovely." He added, offering a little wink to her. He couldn't help but teasing her just a little, before her let his hand slipped free as his head raised to gesture to a seat offering it to her.

"I shan't be averting m' gaze any time soon." Risk retorted coolly in a thick accent. Her chilled gaze remained on him even as she took the offered seat.
"M'sir..." She added with a nod of her head. The motion still held her eyes upon him and his gestured hand. "But I would only be keepin' it to be sure your arse is away from harm, seeing as you have 'de utmost trouble keeping it out yourself."
Which, being a traveling merchant, begged to have a few unhappy customers now and than. Risk had the privilege of meeting them all ever since she had agreed to be a body guard for Regent. Her skills had preceded her from her very distant homeland, as well as he temper. And with the increased tension in the area Risk had been put on edge since meeting the man.
Her arms folded in her lap as her posture straightened. Back just barely rest against the wooden support of the chair, her frame still quite obviously readied to act in the event of anything 'distasteful'. She would be good, at least until someone decided to be... stupid.

Rhett lowered his head for a moment, rubbing his fingers over the bridge of his nose.
"Stay outside.." He muttered harshly, and then tried to drown the words with another heavy swallow.. or two.. or three. He had his eyes closed for a moment, before he opened one eye, and then the other to look back at Talon.
"Fun.. Y'know, little.. bugs.. and perhaps some larger uncommon Zoids that had a thing or two to say?" He seemed rather unwilling to go into detail with his slurred words, though he was amused by Kreig's comment. "Perhaps, but I just arrived, as I'm sure you noticed. Haven't quite been in this corner before." His gold eyes turned back to Blitz as he began rhyming. He seemed earnestly impressed at the talent, but the moment he asked about where his curious friend was.. the man's eyes widened.
"Out.. outside.." His voice caught, and he suddenly seemed extremely concerned about something. Although the exhaustion had drained from his expression, the pale color of his skin denoted the condition remained. Fortunately adrenaline overcame that and made him move much faster than his otherwise tired body should have been able to.
"I.. think I'll go take that shower now." He coughed as if apologetically, and stumbled up, drunk at this point. The emergency that had apparently taken over the concept of taking a shower (which was obviously not the truth, but the only truth he was willing to give) made him half-run towards the entrance.
Of course, drunk, he wasn't going to be able to go in a straight line. He hadn't been sober when he started to down the beers, so a couple beers ontop of whatever he'd been drinking prior to coming to the bar just added to the fact that on his way out, he collided his left side with the back of Risk's chair as he was headed for the back door.

Here again, it always seemed to be this place, she sighed, this was the last place she’d seen Ander before meeting him in the desert, and it was still the best place to gather information. Entering the bar Marcia took note of the company most of which she was familiar with though there were a few new faces this time round. Luckily one of those familiar faces Marcia was hoping to see with the possibility of holding the answers which she sought; the merchant Ander introduced her to, Regent. Marcia didn’t hold her hopes up to high not this time.
Talon seemed to be as well as expected, that kid had worse luck than she did it seemed, and she didn't pity him for it then again she knew the course of action she had taken was still looking for trouble. It was something she wouldn't have the time to regret when the time came.
Rhett on the other hand seemed to be having some a tough time with something; rather unsightly since the last time she'd met him. She wondered why, what might be causing it, and for another matter where was Arrow that large cat organoid? Perhaps it was arrow causing his headache. A strong mental link between them could cause that, she mused. She would have to talk to him once her business was concluded if he was still around...
Marcia moved toward Regent and Risk's table.
