Especially not to strange creepy little ghouls he'd never seen before. It may have seemed a simple question, a simple answer, and one at another time he would have easily answered. But all that he had seen, all he now knew to be true, all that had happened had changed him. He had grown far less trusting and far more suspicious, and far less willing to answer such questions to anyone but his closest friends.
Wait, what the--was she crying? Really? Come on, don't do that! Sigh, now he felt bad, though not any more likely to answer her questions nor did he find her any less odd.
"Please don't do that..."
He shook his head, taking a step back and away from the ghoul. He wasn't sure the fact that she was crying made her any less creepy either.
"I'm gonna...go meet my friend now. Um..sorry."
And he turned, and fled, slinking away determined to put as much distance as possible between himself and the weird little ghoul before she realized he was gone. Oh jack he hoped she didn't follow...
