Before had enough of these blasted birds smacking him around with their Insanity-crusted feathers and dorm-roosting ways. And while he hadn't been around earlier, he was here now. Teal eyes darted left and right, trying to find an opening without getting in anyone's way. And after taking a wing to the face and spitting out an errant feather, Before swung Vanna and oh would you look at that! He connected! 8DDDDDDDDDDD

The Misty gave Harrison a lopsided grin and declared, "If you can wait for when Ofie and me have another one of our bake-offs, you can have pie, cake, and cookies!" Bolstered by Harrison's assist, Before managed to take a decent stab at the over-sized chicken.

Before stood in place, staring up at the flying, gray, monochrome monstrosity as its wing descended, intending to smash him flat. But the corner of his mouth curved into a cheeky grin just as FEAR-borne blades blocked INSANITY-borne plumage. "Nah, it'll only be for charity if you award me the victory," he laughed from behind Harrison, grinning at the Moonie's back before ducking past the taller Trainee. Before was spinning Vanna along her handles, building just enough momentum that the impact of the wheel's broadside was audible.
He was quick to fall back behind Harrison, and with the Misty lightly bouncing on the balls of his feet chuckled, "I'm totes glad you're on our side."

Before laughed, "Of course, of course! Ofie's got a killer apple pie recipe, but I don't think anyone can quite match Killzone's banana cream pie." He sighed dreamily at the thought, certain that any in-coming retaliation from the Phoenix would be handled.
And handled it was by the Moonie. Which left the thing wide open for a Charge attack. OwO!!!! I believe it's time we clipped this creature's wings, Vanna purred and somewhere in the back of Before's mind, a face wrought from metal smiled wickedly. The runes on his weapon flashed, and though Vanna looked no different than a moment earlier, the Phoenix would be able to tell she had an extra oomph to her heft this time around.

Ariane was never one to join large scale... Fight things, unless they were mandatory, but this was an exception, only because she liked the sound of having her own room back, even if it wasn't the most comfortable bed in the world. Or even the most comfortable on the island. All she wanted was her privacy back, to be able to sleep without hearing the snoring of someone in the neighboring bed, or to smell someone.
No. She wanted the dorms back.
Too bad she apparently didn't want it enough to hit the stupid bird.

"It's okay Sasha, just keep trying. I've got you." she smiled fondly at the other woman before taking her position again. It really didn't matter if a hit landed. This bird was brutal and she could tell it with every deflected attack. Perhaps they should find someone to double-team together? Perhaps not. There were no suns to make the endeavor worthwhile so she grit her teeth and set back to work.

The moment it took for Before to remember what his specialty dish was seemed to be long enough for the Phoenix to get a swipe in. Oh no it di-in't! D< He raised a gloved hand at Harrison, narrowing his teal eyes at the Phoenix, just-about-grown-in eyebrows knitting angrily. "I'll let you know soon as I remind this charcoal turkey not to interrupt talk of baking!" And then he proceeded to drive one of Vanna's spikes into the creature's leg.

Dakota had barely gotten up when he got the text from Harrison, coming in to see a couple of hunters up against another one of those malicious little Phoenix spawn.

He could see that most hunters had a moon defending them and debated on attacking when he saw Ariane. Been awhile...too long. And she was Hawt.
"Ariane...." Dakota came up to her, moving to stand in front of her. He poked his butt out a little as he fended off a Pheonix attack and then added, "So once my dorm is clean, you wanna come over for a late night study session Ariane?" He waggled his eye brows up and over at her.

She was never one to give up after the first attempt - especially since she had managed to take one of these things down once before. With the desire to have her own room back burning strong, Ariane waited till the bird had swooped in close enough before-
"Dakota," She grinned, his defending helping her with her attack, swinging her weapon at the bird right before it flew out of reach again. At his little request, she raised an eyebrow, eyeing him for a moment, "How old are you, again?"
