Payton glanced over at him and chuckled softly. "It probably would have been if I hadn't gotten away ..." he says as he turned his head to look at the boy, the more he looked at him, the more of a fleeting feeling Payton got that somewhere he'd seen Alexander somewhere before.

Alexander continued smiling, and said, "Well if I had been there, I would have backed you up the best I could." He laughed and added, "But from now on, I could back you up the best I could."

Payton chuckled softly and smiled over at the kid. "Thanks." He says as he then sighed and lifted his shirt to look at the wound, it didn't look like it would open up if he stood up. He then glanced at Alexander and smiled again. He then took in a breath before growling in pain as he stood up, clenching his fists before panting heavily as he walked over to the sink and grabbed a few paper towels. He turns the water on and gets the paper towels wet as he tried to wipe some of the blood off his face, but a shower would probably be a better choice.

Alexander watched him, and said, "Hey. There's this cool new thing. It's called a shower. They made it so you don't have to clean off in a sink."

Payton threw the paper towels in the garbage and glanced over at the boy before rolling his eyes. "Yeah and theirs this other little detail that I almost passed out just walking to the damn sink." He says. How was he going to stand in a shower when he was barely able to stand right now.

Payton glanced over at the boy and blushed a little at his suggestion, though the blush couldn't be seen because of the blood. He was going to decline, but the feeling of dry blood stuck to him was really starting to piss him off. So the male nods his head once. "Only because the dry blood is driving my crazy." He says as he stands up straight, holding the wall for support.

Alexander smiled, and stood up. He slid his arm around Payton's waist, and helped him walk towards the door, giggling.
