"Oy.. I'm not the only one to explode a mini or two. Aren't you flunking this class?" Matthew teased with a stern expression. He always looked tired or bored, as was his nature. "Besides.." He looked to the others in the room. "Maybe they are prone to exploding."Because it totally wasn't his fault.

"I am not flunking this class, okay?" The sloth demon would find himself on the receiving end of a glare, and then Macthor simply shrugged, turning back to eye his minipet with some apprehension. It was true that he wasn't flunking, but he definitely wasn't passing with flying colors either. Ignoring Matthew, he reached out and held a hand over the mini's body.
...
Was it...was it shrinking? ...Well s**t.
He held up a hand before Matthew could say anything, shooting the other boil a small glare. "At least it didn't explode, okay?"

Teasing successful. How fulfilling. Matt watched as Macthor tried to heal the mini pet, getting a result that mirror'd his own first attempt. He stared at the hand that was held up to silence him. The monster received a smug yet tired looking smirk. He then gave the other boil the honour of a golf clap. "Yes. A stride in the glorious path of science hath been made. Well done."Teasing.

Macthor aimed a light, backhanded slap at Matthew's chest at the clapping, his face reddening from both embarrassment and irritation. "Do me a favour and shut up before I brofist your face, got it?"
Scowling, the boil turned back to the table. Okay, so his first try didn't go well...what about the next? Pushing up his sleeves, he reached out to hold his hands over the creature, trying to concentrate. He'd show Matthew.
Surprisingly enough, the mini beneath his hands did show signs of recovery. When it got up and moved elsewhere to rest, Macthor folded his arms over his chest and turned to look at Matthew, a smug smirk spreading over his face. That's right. "Well look here, Matt. I didn't blow it up."

The smack to the chest did little to detour Matthew's clapping, which eventually did stop. He simply smiled at his bro before his face fell to default, watching Macthor's second attempt. "Dumb luck. I'd like to see you do that again." Matthew responded, tired eyes gliding over to his friend. He stared, waiting. "Do it. If you manage to heal another one, Lunch is on me."

Looking unperturbed by her mini pet that exploded in a horrific fashion, Melusine only deposited its extra bits into a nearby trashcan with a nonchalant hand. For a moment she lingered over it and looked at it, parted her mouth to say something then promptly closed it and wandered back to her desk with a new one. Unfortunately, her head was just simply not in the right place to do any healing today. This skitter also exploded with an unsavory boom, which didn't even make her flinch. She merely waited a second for the noise to pass, then blinked slowly. "Oh dear. I fear my techniques are a bit... Exuberant today." She mused quietly as she swept together the remaining pieces for a second time.
"Has anyone had any luck?" She asked a little louder than usual. Maybe everyone was nervous about the festival tomorrow. To be perfectly honest, Melusine was not nervous, but certainly a little anxious. What would it bring?

Matt turned his head over to the familliar female in the room. He'd taken many classes with all these students in the years he'd spent here at Amity, and remembered all their faces. "Macthor and I have both managed to heal them at least once." He explained with a tired Sloth like expression. "Though the explosion count seems far higher than usual today.."

"Seems like you forgot to bring the other two," grinned Vel as she came in. The girl was looking a bit worn at the moment, thanks to the fight she had just went through. One of the first persons she spotted was Macthor, but noticed that the other two of the Thorbrothers were not here at the moment. d**k and a few others were around as well.
"So what's the deal today boys? Blowing up more minis?" she said, sitting down at one of the chairs to relax.

Acher looked about as the room started to get a little more crowded, there was alot of explosions going on today. Looking at the small skitter in front of him he wondered about trying his hand at healing this one. Before blinking at amazement at how calm the ghoul was after she'd managed to explode her own minipet. "Hey we've all seemed to blow one or two."He was trying to be sympathetic but it really didn't come out properly. As he tapped the skitter in front of her while he was making the statement the blasted thing exploded on him, "case in point...."He grumbled as he reached for the rags to clean himself off yet again.

The banging sounds of mini`s continuing to explode all around the room did little to grab Ashly's attention. What did grab her attention, however, were the two boils bantering back and forth over their own mini's, which both of them appeared to have managed to heal. She was envious of their abilities, and quite obviously could use some help, so she eased herself slowly out of her chair to move towards them. "Hey boils!" She rasped in her dry, scratchy voice, only needing to cough into her arm once before continuing. "How would you like to show me how you managed to do that?" She offered them a large smile, her teeth stained in horrible shades of yellow and brown. Of course she recognized them both. After three years at Amity, there was hardly anybody that Ashly did not recognize anymore. Not waiting for them to answer her, her tongue whipped out once again towards the area where the minipets were being contained, this time wrapping around a nice, fluffy fox fire, before she reeled it back in and dropped it, sopping with her spittle, into her hands. Newcomers arriving grabbed her attention, and one ghoul in particular had her smiling from ear to ear. "Vel!" She rasped out, rather cheerfully as she waved to the undead raptor. "You been scrapping again, ghoul?" And another coughing fit ensued, followed by another gob of green spit to the floor.

Yep. Blowing up minis. Vel had nailed that one on the head. She grinned over at Acher, but then turned her attention towards Ashly, watching as she snatched up a fox fire. Ahh... she should probably grab herself something too. The raptor stood and fetched herself a critter to try and work with. Fear healing was not really something she ever really had a knack for but she may as well try a bit while she was here. "Oh, you know it," she replied with a smirk, waving to the other zombie in return, "Nothing quite like a good fight to help keep ones claws sharp, hm?" "Alright, lets see if Vel can actually do some healing for once..." She went on and tried to put some of her FEAR into the minipet for the sake of healing it. When she was done, it... might have seemed healthier? It was really hard to tell. In fact, she had to wonder if she had done anything to it at all. Hm. Maybe she needed to rest a little more before trying to fix anything else up.

Snowman walked into the class lumbering a little as he headed to sit down at a desk, Minipet healing? He sat down in a chair a little roughly. He was looking at the little brown miced tea. It did look sick. "What's wrong with you George, did you get some bad jolly meal?"
He heard the miced tea squeak weakly but that was about all it did before it was picked up. Snowman took a finger and started rubbing the miced tea. "Here, I will heal you George. I can make you all better!"
As Snowman rubbed the Miced tea trying to make it feel better, he noticed instead of healing it his fear started shrinking it. "George? Why you shrinking George?" As he continued it wasn't long until 'George' shrunk and disappeared.
Snowman frowned, "George? George where'd you go?" The little Minipet had disappeared. "Oh.... jack, I did it again."

Avery was never particularly good a Fear healing, nor was he good at any class. In fact, the only reason he was here to begin with was for the fact that if he didn't at least try and put some effort into these classes, he was doomed to repeat the year or worse, never graduate. Which to him that wasn't really a choice he'd take. He didn't want to be chained down to the school forever and while he didn't hate it, he didn't care for it either. Not as much as others did anyways.
"Must be your unlucky day getting to be my practice dummy." He said, looking at the minipet placed before him on the table. A sad looking excuse of a foxfire. He felt bad for it really. Because he always screwed this part up.
Placing a hand over it, he set to work. At first, it looked as though everything was going well. The minipet wasn't cringing or curling into a fetal position like the previous one had. In fact, it looked perfectly relaxed and tiny and---wait... had it been that tiny a second ago?
The behemoth stared in shock as the foxfire continued to shrink at a rapid rate, like someone had stuffed it into a dryer, until suddenly it disappeared entirely. Now... if it was still there and just miniscule, or if it had actually disappeared entirely, he couldn't say. But in the mean time, he quickly resumed a casual pose, leaning on his arm propped up on the table and trying to look as innocent as he possibly could.
He didn't just kill the minipet. Nooo. There was never a minipet there to begin with. Yes, that was the excuse he would go with this time.

Kanika black heels clacked as she entered the classroom, falling into a class in the back and arranging her robes and bracelets before she looked around. No Teach? Wonderful! Gentle wasn't her fortey and she hadn't been excelling as well as she liked in First Healing, but with the days passing by closer to graduation, it was even harder to concentrate. Still, you couldn't count all your spiders before their hatched and she didn't want to do poorly to jeopardize her chances.
Rising up, she took one of the minipets from the coral and sat back down, plopping the Inugami on the table. The little creature was chewing on the globe it kept and curled it's tail, used to being handled in the class.
"Okays then. We will heal you off the sickness." She stated, noticing the pink patches on it's fur. What an ugly color. It continued to chew on it's globe, looking a little miffed to be disturbed.
Hands out an flat, she pressed her hands upon the creature, then breathed deep. Her Fear pooled out near her hands, and she felt the warm fur under her hands bristle. Then her hands started to sink down...
...down...
...down....
Her hands were flat on the table and confused, she rose her hands up to see nothing there. " - wha?" She craned her head down to look at her desk and then around and under her desk before sitting straight again.
What just happened??
Not sure if that was right or if she would get docked points for vanishing her pet, she slowly rose up and pretended that she forgot her book for class. "Look at that. I gotta go get my textbook." She slowly moved to the door and eased out. Yup. Never was there.

Ah, Vel. How Ashly admired her! I mean, come on, she was a freaking raptor for jacks sake! She was just...so clever! And she could like, even open doors in her natural form! What wasn't awesome about that? Ashly chuckled at Vel's response, though that proved to be a mistake as it brought on yet another coughing fit, this one seeming to last forever though she managed to choke out the words, "Of---course! Any--thing inter--esting going on-----in the gym?" between hacks. Oh how she longed to be out of this class and in the gym right now! But no, she reeeaaaallly needed to work on her fear healing. She was absolutely terrible at this sort of thing. Though maybe if she managed to do well, she could sneak out and get to where the real action was happening! The foxfire in her hands was limp and lethargic, and appeared to be having a a lot of difficulty breathing. She knew those feels. Though she didn't actually need to breathe, her lungs were somehow still awful. Maybe if she just focused her fear a little more like this... The foxfire in her hands began to perk up, it's little tail twitching, it's ears rising. Her eyes widened in delight as she set the furry critter down on the table in front of the two boils, and it curled up into a little ball, closing it's eyes, breathing evenly and normally. Success! "Guess I didn't need any help after all!" She rasped out, happy as could be.
