"Where's the meeting spot?" Chaya inquired. "I call broom, I can sweep." She seemed not to be bothered by the prospect of cleaning; being the oldest scareling in the family meant that she'd been expected to help around the house.

"Next time can we play ball?" she asked, her tail starting up a steady beat at just the idea. "We can take turns throwing and chasing. Or maybe somebody can throw for us, I wonder if Anna has a good throwing arm, I can ask her."

She leaned to one side to peer around Tybalt at Jove. "Nobody barked at you," she said curiously.
