Amphi stopped and looked at the fire demon.
"No..Um. Aren't you leading me somewhere?" Amphi pointed to the hand that still held hers. "Are we going somewhere?"
It felt like they would be asking questions from each other for awhile.

Danny scratched her head, confused by the turn of events. Sighing, she sat down right on the steps of the reaper dorms and looked up at the mermaid ghoul.
"Ummm right here. We're going here."

"Okay...So okay." Amphi sat next to Danny and just....
Stared into the distance awkwardly.
"Um...so Danny........" Yeah Amphi had no idea how to act around Danny, one minute the fire demon was focused on her, the next she was flying around somewhere thinking of something else. And Amphi was just getting swept along into it.

Danny was not awkward at all though. She was quite at home on these steps apparently, just lounging about them. Well lounging somewhat far away from Amphi anyways.
All at once she snapped up to attention though. "Oh! Hey you asked about Fright Music Club didn't you? And something about Roch?" So she could remember things!

Okay.
Amphi waited for a minute and then....
"Yes!" Amphi was surprised that Danny said something before thinking, "I did. Are you guys still accepting members? Is a club that keeps going on now?" She waited....before thinking. "I want to be friends with Roch." She nodded.
"I want to be friends with him even if he doesn't want to be with me." Amphi smiled at Danny, a little more confident before, "But I don't know how so......Can you help me?" Amphi waited, "I can sing...if that helps anything?"

"YEAH!!!!!" Danny cheered, completely ignoring (or rather, not noticing) the sincere sentiments of the mermaid. "Oh my Jack you should come audition for Roch sometime. You just hafta like sing or whatever and then we let you in the club and we can ALL HAVE FUN TOGETHERRRR."
Danny nodded even faster and said, "Yeah I bet Roch would like you a ton more if you sang for him!!" Well, Rikki usually liked when she sang for him, so the same would be true of Amphi and Roch, right?
RIGHT?!

"Audition? For you club? Can I?" Amphi looked pleased as she clapped her hands, excited. It seemed she was swept again in the Danny wave.
"I sang for him once but maybe I need to sing more! Oh but....I can't play an instrument, I can only sing." She frowned, "Will that be bad?" Well she could play the eelarp, something close to what landwalkers called the Harp but had never seen then land variant around.
"Um...Where should I go then? And when?"

Danny clapped, happy that she had recruited yet another poor soul to the music club. "No no singing is good. I don't even think you have to do anything music-y to get in. At least I don't ..." As the vice-president, you'd think she'd know those kind of things.
"Ummmm why don't you come find me and Roch ... at uh ... some time." VAGUE RENDEZVOUS WAS VAAAAGUE.

Random time interval was random so Amphi just....
"Okay....I will come find you then." She nodded, "I hope you don't mind me visiting then!" Amphi flushed before getting up and brushing her shorts off.
"I shall see you soon then Danny. Be safe on your way home tonight." Amphi nodded before heading off, her step a little lighter. She had a audition to prepare for!

Danny stood up and stretched, taking one last look at the reaper dorm. She could easily sneak in and spend the night at Rikki's ... Nahhh wasn't worth the trouble for now.
With a yawn, Danny was off the steps, saying, "Yup see ya later!" When the "later" was, was anyone's guess.
With that, like Amphi, she departed and prepared for something much less strenuous- sleep.
