"You're right..." Amrita said, his fake pout being returned with a very real one. Despite her attempts to get the upper hand, she really never approved of cheating. "For real, this time." She added, looking down at the clip in her hand was what decidedly not as lively as it had been when they started out.
Then, in a move that was a lot more honest, she ran towards him again, trying to clip his suspenders.

The last part of his sentence went higher, then lower again as he attempted to dodge the ghoul, wings flapping back and forth behind him.

"O-okay..." Amrita nearly whimpered, suddenly feeling very very silly. But she was over it pretty fast as she tended to do things, and she lunged forward to continue her onslaught with her very tired pin.

Ren linked his fingers behind his back and tiled his head towards Amrita, offering her a relaxed sort of smile.
"Don't worry," he told her, and took a few steps backwards, out of reach of the sleepily snapping pin. "I tease everyone I like - and, come to think of it, most people I don't like, actually, but that's beside the point."

Amrita gave him a look. He teased everyone he liked...but he also teased those he didn't like? That seemed a little odd to her. "That's...not really reassuring." She chuckled regardless, shaking her head. As she lunged out with her clip one last time, she thought she heard it yawn.

"At any rate," said Ren, waving a hand noncommittally and smiling widely at Amrita. "The moral of the story is that you're really nice and I like hanging with you, so you don't have to worry about me yelling at you or getting irritated with you."

"See, now that is reassuring!" The ghoul smiled at him, honestly a little more relieved; usually it was people dragging her places, not the other way around. In her effort to 'reinvent' herself, she was taking babysteps, but wasn't entirely sure it was going to come off decently enough or not.
"I like uh, hanging - " She paused to look at him as if confirming she used it right. "- with you too, Ren. As long as you're not like Roch and don't do your homework while disappearing without a trace forcing me to hunt you down, I don't yell or get irritated either!" Though she didn't think she'd ever yelled at Roch. Talked sternly? Definitely. Yelled? Except out of fear, probably not.
Regardless, she swooped forward and tried to pin him again, targeting any loser clothing.

"Good," said Ren, as he took several steps back, avoiding Amrita's attempts at pinning the little thing on him. "I'm glad to hear that. And no, I don't disappear randomly, unless it's not my decision in the first place, and I do my homework like a good little gryphon."
Then he promptly whisked out of her way, clucking his tongue.

"Oh good! Then we won't have any problems!" Amrita grinned cheerfully before pouting, lifting up her clothes pin that was akin to a limp noodle. A snoring limp noodle, but a limp noodle nonetheless. She gave it an experimental shake and tried to make it clip, but nothing happened outside of more snoring. "Whelp, guess that means I lost!" The passed out pin was put into her pocket to help it recover, and she mulled over the rest of the situation, working it out in her head. As she did she held out the other three pins again, all lively and snapping, ready for Ren to take. "So then I'd have to wait until it recovered to try and get you again. You on the other hand, are free to go try to clip your person!"
Which meant loop some poor sucker into playing with us.
