Casting her glance around for yet more items that might be of particular value or use, the war chieftain found herself eyeing up some thick bark that was beginning to seperate from a large sized tree. She made her way towards it, reaching up to tug on the top of it where it had become unattached, the rough texture biting into her fingertips. She was probably going to end up with some splinters when all was said and done, but that was nothing compared to the other pains she had endured. As she did this she listened to Jay's jabbering, strands of curly blonde hair beginning to stick to her slightly sweat dampened face.
"No I have not." She conceded,
"As I said before, I have not been here for very long yet. I decided that gathering supplies was likely more important then sating my simple curiosities." She grunted as she tore down on the bark, then wrenched on it hard to pull it away from the tree, stumbling back a couple of paces but not losing her balance to the extent of falling down completely.
Turning back towards Jay, her amber eyes surrounded by grey landing on the girl, she offered her a smile by way of a smirk.
"Perhaps, however, when we are finished I might take a small break to have a look for myself. Normal you say? I very much doubt there are many who are thrilled with our arrival." That might have just been her own doubts and insecurities talking, as the whispers in her head began to almost get louder. Would they never stop?
