Racing also brought out the adrenaline in people. Miri's heart started racing, and she held on tight to the Flying pokemon she was riding.

The ranger focused in on the three pokemon: a pidgey, a cottonee, and a zubat. Which one would be the easiest to grasp? All three of them were very fast flyers.

Suddenly, the pidgey caught a thermal and it zipped away, gaining great speed. "Darnit!" She half-muttered. "After it Pidgeot! Use the same thermals." The Pidgeot nodded and caught the thermal as well, taking off after the small bird.

Cara and Pidgeot were once again close to the Zubat, but they paid it no mind. They were after Pidgey. It was fast and smart, but they were determined.

The Pidgey suddenly burst up above the cloud cover. Catherine sped up, trying to catch the other bird.

Cara looked over and saw one of her competitors catch the cottonee. Now that just left the pidgey and zubat, and she wanted that pidgey. "Keep it up Pidgeot, you're doing great!"
