"That's all you can offer, all you want, huh?" he said, frowning slightly as he tested her words. She sure was movin' fast for that to be all she wanted, he thought dryly. "I'm gonna tell you the truth, Amphi," he told her, looking her straight in the eyes, "you're EXACTLY the type of ghoul I ain't sure how to deal with. You're comin' off like a mix of Danny and Xiu, somehow, and I'll be the first to say it's a hazard to my health. How about I introduce you to all the musicians in the school--the singers, the players, all of them. That boil from the booth, Ren? He's a way better singer than I am. Then there's Nahm, he sings for my band, and Hel and Freya and a ton of people that ain't comin' to mind at the moment--" Because she was wrapped around him and it was a tiiiiny bit distracting, he thought dryly. "And you'll be surrounded by music in no time, just like you want," he finished. "Cuz you an' me, Amphi, we're from different worlds. I tried mixin' them once, it didn't turn out pretty."

"Yes. All I want to do is be Friends because that's all I can offer. Is there something more I should be offering? Am I bartering for your friendship instead?" She blinked, eyeing him innocently. If it came down to it, Amphi had some possessions in your dorm that he might find acceptable enough to become her friend with. "I do have some plushies....and silver seeds....and minipets if there is something you are wanting?" She frowned though as he mentioned types of Ghouls.
"I don't want other musicians Roch of the Reapers." She flushed again at the boldness of her words before eyes narrowing. "I know of Hel, We are friends. She is teaching me to defend myself and fight better. Although I harbor no physical violence love....but I don't know of Freya. However, it doesn't matter because I want to know you." She shrugged as her arms tightened on where she held him up.
In her mermaid form, Amphi didn't realize the significance of really being wrapped around the Reaper either. She might've been able to be more aware, especially after the talk with Thana and her meeting with False but in truth, Amphi just didn't understand that perhaps she distracted with her body completely wrapped around Roch, that perhaps she was pressing certain parts into the reaper purely only to keep him held up.
That she was staring at him with saddened blue eyes, big as a doe.
"Roch....I come from the Sea yes....and you come from the Land. But that doesn't mean we can't be friends? I can walk on land a lot! You won't always have to come swimming with me! Unless....of course....you bombard me with those round thin water balls from earlier." Her fins drooping a little with each word, completely missing his point. "Is it really that bad to be my friend?"

It was almost working, even though she didn't know what she was doing. In fact his hand ran down her back, stopping at the butt--but there was no butt, he thought blankly as his fingers touched fish scales. That was like an ice cold shower to the punk boil, and a tiny grin pulled at his lips as he pulled back from her as much as he could without sinking. His brain took over where his hormones had been controlling him. He just had to deal with this smartly. "Amphi?" he said, leaning forward so his mouth was next to her ear. "Y'know, screech, if you take me to the shore I'll sing you a song."

Amphi flushed as she felt his hand down her back, the slight tingle of skin on skin and even worst when he hit her ticklish spot. Her scales even tingled as she let out a small gasp before her flush rose. When he pulled back, she gave a frowny face before her eyes widened.
And then he leaned in and she flushed again.
All that faded when he said that he would sing her a song and she hugged him tighter. "Okay Roch!" She held him tight as she paddled them over to the shore, using most of her tail before letting him touch the lake shore and inching her way on shore. Her tail tucked under her as she sat nicely.
"Okay okay I can't wait to hear!" She smiled at him like he had given her the biggest present ever.

He stood up, grabbing his boots and sliding them on, then pulling on his vest as well before moving in front of her, crouching to wipe his hands off on the ground before standing again. He held out one hand, the FEAR building, forming into his guitar. Tugging the strap over his shoulder he quickly tuned Desiree, then started on the first song that came to mind. "With my winter time

Amphi waited as Roch dressed himself. She flushed though when he got closer, crouching down....and Magic happened at his fingers.
The song was beautiful and gorgeous and Roch looked like he truly enjoyed what he was doing.
"Wow." Amphi breathed in as he went into the chorus. She tapped the beat of the song on her tail fin, her head swaying with the sound.
She seemed saddened though by the song, and what its lyrics were hinting at. Did he choose it specifically or was it just another song he knew by heart.

He crouched down in front of her as he finished, reaching up and touching her cheek with a crooked little grin on his face. "This isn't out of spite," he said quietly, "I just know what's right. Bad luck, blue eyes," he said as he stood. A finger reached up, touching his forehead. "Goodbye," he told her.
Then with a poof of smoke left behind, he was gone completely out of sight. She was definitely NOT one he should be playing with. For so many reasons.

Amphi continued to watch him until he finished his song. And when she crouched down, touching her cheek, she flushed bright read. Enchanted was the word, she would think later, by his song and by his looks. But what really got her was that he seemed so gentle in that brief moment.
"Roch?" Amphi barely even blinked as he saluted her and disappeared completely. "Ummm...." She looked around, clearly abandoned by the gentle Reaper before frowning. "Don't forget your thin water globes in the tree!" She shouted after him and crossed her hands over tail.
Since she was here, she might as well return to swimming. And Plot her next meeting with her singing friend.
Cause there would be another meeting.
