The electric pulse densified as it was redirected towards the zebra's tail. Leaving her unscathed and not paralyzed. Chael figured it was best to explain, but it'd help to leave an opponent in the dark. Besides, he'd have time for small talk afterwards. But, given she was distracted by her fallen steel type, he'd indulge her. "Lizzy's ability is Lightningrod. Electric attacks don't harm her." he said. But she was in a better situation than if he picked Epsilon at least.

"Lizzy, show it your own Thunder Wave." Chael said . The Zebstrika neighed as lightning sparks flew off of her and towards the Magnezone.

OOC: Tri Attack does damage, and has a 20% chance of either paralyzing, freezing, or burning the target. Each ailment has about a 6.67% chance of being inflicted. 1-7 is paralyzed, 8-13 is frozen, and 14-20 is burned. Is that okay?

"Oh dear, that was a rookie mistake. Silly me." Jocelyn returned Mawile to her pokeball so she could focus on the battle. Magnezone was paralyzed by the wave of electricity, but he wasn't out of the battle. Not by far. "Use your Tri-Attack, please." The floating hunk of metal hesistated a moment because of the paralysis and still pulled off the move. Three types of energy beams whirled around Magnezone and then met together to shoot the ray at Blitzle.

The Zebstrika was thrown back, but she wasn't out of the match just yet. Just yet. But Chael had her do what he needed: to paralize the tank of the team. And now for HIS tank. "Come back. Epsilon, you're turn now." Chael said as the ghost jumped to the field. He wanted to save her for later once they weakened the Magnezone. They were known to levitate so he'd probably throw some Shadow Punchs first.

OOC: I didn't forget. I rolled in the RNG thread for paralysis. LINK Flash Cannon does damage and has a 10% chance of lowering the target's Special Defense.

Because Chael switched that gave Jocelyn and her pokemon another turn to attack. She was stumped though. Normal attacks and Electric attacks wouldn't hit Golett at all. That left just one more move to use. "Use your Flash Cannon!" Magnezone shone with a strange light and it gathered to a small point between its magnets. It shot the orb of Steel type light at the Golett.

The ghost was pushed back, face hard as stone.... which Epsilon was. At least he wasn't weak to steel type attacks. The Magnezone had dealt out two hits and recieved none. Time to change that. Speaking up, Chael ordered "Ok, use Magnitude!" The Magnezone would be a formidable enemy but it would be more easy considering it didn't Levitate. If it did, it'd take away it's major weakness: ground type moves. But that left the question on what it's ability did. Maybe it absorbed electric attacks too?

Aside from that, Epsilon would nod his head in agreement. Then, he began to wildly beat the ground with his fists, trying to make it a strong attack. This was a high risk move, so Chael wouldn't have picked it unless it was super effective

OOC: Hustle increases the user's Attack stat by 50%, but lowers the Accuracy of the user's Physical moves by 20%. Metal Claw has 95% accuracy. 1-75 is a hit and 76-100 is a miss

The mighty Epsilon achieved a total one-hit KO on Magnezone. The Steel type had bounced at first and then dipped erratically as the ground below it quaked and buckled. It appeared that Magnezone hadn't been touched by a single stone but its internal magnetism was all messed up now. It was totally frazzled by the sudden fluctuations and knocked out. Jocelyn returned her Magnezone to its PokeBall. "That was a very strong move! I really like your Golett."

She next tossed the last Pokemon she had on her team. Durant chomped his jaws together menacingly and looked mean. "Use your Metal Claw now!" With the ability Hustle the Durant barely waited a second and charged right at Epsilion.

"Thank you." Chael replied, having Epsilon come back. Standard battle rules said that you could switch out after beating an opponents monster, right? He had been in trainer's school but his memory was a little fuzzy. If it wasn't allowed, he'd let the Gym Leader correct him. Walking back was Lizzy, who barely dodged the Metal Claw. Seriously, it grazed her by a hair.

The Pokemon looked like a bug type and it had to be steel. Well, time to use the move Chael had no idea why an electric type would know it. "Lizzy use your Flame Charge attack!" Chael called out, letting the zebra have a moment to think. Flames engulfed her, making her look more like a Rapidash as she raced forward the Durant, neighing loudly once.

OOC: I don't know but I asked. lol I need to pick different pokemon. x4 weaknesses for two pokemon is baaaaaaad.

Another x4 weakness and Durant was in trouble. He missed Lizzy and the zebra's Flame Charge went from 50 attack power up to a staggering 200 power because of weaknesses. Durant chittered and cried out when he burst into fire. Insides cooked the Durant was knocked out in one hit just like Magnezone. Jocelyn sighed and returned her ant too. "I think I need to request different pokemon from the League. Congratulations! You're a very good trainer and you used my pokemon's weaknesses perfectly to defeat them very quickly. This is for you." Putting down her parasol Jocelyn walked over to Chael and handed him the Bullet Badge. "I also want you to have this, you earned it. It's a Soothe Bell and a TM for Flash Cannon. I wish you well, dear trainer."

OOC: I'm not sure if I still give out the Soothe Bell too. I'm going to ask but I think it's okay if you have it for right now. lol but please don't get me in trouble!

"Try a Skarmory." Chael suggested. Being from Johto, he knew how fierce they were. Letting the items come into his grasp, he took off his backpack. He put the TM in a cd case along with Acrobatics. Putting it back on, he whistled over to Tsuki, who dashed over, only to have the bell placed around his neck. Which meant he planned on having an Espeon or Umbreon.

With a nod, Chael said "Thank you. Have a good day." With that he walked out of the gym, putting his Bullet Badge inside his wallet, next to the Aero Badge.
