Absolutely disgusting and disgraceful. Strawberry knows I've been following this on Skype and have been helping keep tabs on the thief. Unfortunately I was at the vet yesterday and missed the last piece of obvious theft.

People who steal characters are uncreative fools, piggybacking off the hardwork and dedication of real writers. Those who plagiarise, like this, are sad, pathetic little souls without an ounce of skill or creativity in their bodies and I really do pity them.

I will state once more what I stated in the previous thread about the issue of stealing characters. Once a piece of work - a character, an RP post, a short story, etc. etc. - is put into a format that is readable by more than two people, the piece is covered automatically by copyright. This copyright extends 70 years after the creation of the piece or the original creator's death, whichever is the longest. I believe in America that that time period is slightly shorter than here in Australia, at only 60 years, but nonetheless, both the creators of Rosentale and Huong are still covered. What this person has done is violate copyright law. That's pretty damn serious and pretty damn stupid.

I also want to touch on how incredibly creepy it is for this person to take Huong's work. They haven't really interacted with each other, yet this person goes so far as to ape Huong's quirky writing style. The thief needs to know that everything they are doing is just beyond weird and is starting to give off some very creepy stalker vibes.

I shall finish by saying that the thief, and I know very well who you are, is a truly pitiful, pathetic person who needs to take a good hard look at themselves and realise how truly sub-par and disgusting they are. You, thief, are a failure and will never be called a writer for you don't have an ounce of the class, skill or respect that is inherent in all brilliant writers. No one in the literary industry will ever respect a thief - after all, we do not respect Cassandra Clare or Stephenie Meyer and we will never have an ounce of respect for you.

Disrespectful and downright silly. Not to mention, it's just.. so.. queer. O-o I honestly don't understand how it could possibly be any fun to play a character that you didn't make yourself. o_o There's no real satisfaction from it - and if someone could feel something beneficial as a result of theft, then they really need to look at themselves and question why.
