Zephar shook his head at the behavior of his pokemon. Well if they ended up losing this one Clyde might listen to him more. "Thunder!" he commanded
Once more electrical charges gathered in his mane, once it was enough he released it upon the growlithe.

Ozar yelped as electrical currents swam throughout his system once more. Kate bit her lip, glad that the paralysis had worn off, but unsure if her Growlithe's poor accuracy could win her this battle.
"Ozar, try another Dig!"
The Growlithe barked in response and once again sent large dirt clods and pieces of tile towards the blitzle.

"Paralyze it once more with Thunder!" he commanded
Once more electricity gathered in the mane of Blitzle. Yet snorting he released it upon his opponent. The attack only powerful enough to paralyze instead of do real damage. What was his trainer thinking. They needed to attack not paralyze.

Kate let out a curse as Ozar was shocked once more. Eyeing her twitching and whining Growlithe, she was renewed in her passion to win.
"Ozar, I know you're hurting and it's hard to move, but let's try another Leer!" she called.
Ozar let out a small yip and centered a glare on his opponent.

Before his trainer could even speak a command the Blitzle was once more charging head on at his opponent. Electricity jumping about his body.

Ozar mustered up enough energy to jump out of the charging Blitzle's way. As he rolled to the side, he didn't wait for his trainer's command, seeing a potential opening that could be lost if he waited. Letting out a snarl, he hurled a large plume of flames at his opponent's back.

Rounding a bout the Bliztle dodged the attack and then came towards the Growlithe once more, body sparking. He wasn't going to give up just because he missed the paralyzed growlithe.

Kate winced as Ozar was knocked back again by the Blitzle. It wasn't like him to take matters into his own hands, and she was glad that she seemed to have him back to his senses.
"Ozar, hang in there and hit him with another Dig!"
Ozar tried to shake off the sporadic shocks coursing through his body, and sent another rain of dirt clods towards his electrical opponent.

This time the Growithe attack had hit, assuming his paralysis was gone the blitzle charged up his mane once more and sent and electrical charge at his opponet attempting to paralyze him once more. His trainer was right to paralyze his opponent, it made a much easier target for him to attack.

Ozar, free of paralysis, let out a haughty snarl, dodging the electrical spike and sensing his opponent was on the brink of defeat. Kate was inwardly cheering on her spirited Growlithe for the hit and dodge that told her his accuracy was actually improving.
"Ozar, another Flamethrower!" she yelled.
Ozar rose up and exhaled another large plume of flames in the Blitzle's direction.

Being hit by the attack fire attack the pokemon fell, fainting to the ground. Zephar recalled the Blitzle back into its pokeball. He hoped that after this defeat the stubborn blitzle would listen to him more in battles. They needed to battle more together if they were to get better as pokemon and trainer.
"Thank you for the battle." he called over to his opponent. Without much more then that the trainer left the stadium, heading to the pokemon center to heal his blitzle.

Kate watched her opponent leave the stadium, offering a thank you and wave of her own in goodbye.
She then ran and embraced her Growlithe, letting out a laugh as he licked her face and gave her a doggy grin. They had done it! They had won their first battle.
"We did it, Ozar! I'm so proud of you!"
With that, Kate and Ozar practically skipped out of the stadium.
