After she assured she was alright he was about to say something about his winning due to having taken down more than her but then she had to go and rain in his parade but it also let him know that she fell around the same time he did. Not only did she apparently get less than him but she also passed out at the same time.
"So then...Now what?" He seemed a little dejected since she wouldn't accept his win for what it was.

"... Go again?" She grinned, standing up and stretching her limbs, "Unless you're all out of stamina."
Around them, the hunters who had been watching seemed to be placing bets.

He moved to get up to his feet as well as he gave a small grunt followed by a bit of a glare, "Not out of stamina. Let's go." He then proceeded to stalk his way forward ignoring the bet taking members of the Hunters.

Like before, she stepped into the portal first, weapon in hand; she could feel eyes on her when she stepped out on the other side - from the shadowlings surrounding her, and the hunters watching from the observation booth. No doubt some of there were willing for her to fail because they made the mistake of betting on Jude.
When they attacked, she swung her weapon at them, forcing some of them back as she took several steps forward.Status Wave: 1 Attack Dmg: 7 Total Shadowlings taken out: 7 Recoveries left: N/A

The only mistake here is that they weren't betting enough money on Jude. Once in the weapons were out and he started fighting. Unwilling to lose to Jude, she pushed forward, whacking the shadowlings surrounding her. She must be swift as a coursing river, with all the force of a a great typhoon, with all the strength of a raging fire, mysterious as the dark side of the moon.

With each dying Shadow it was as if Jude was saying 'no u'. He was feeling that same feeling of imminent victory he had felt moments before his briefly embarrassing fall. Oh yes. He had this. He could feel it. Status Wave: 2 Attack Dmg: 8 Total Shadowlings taken out: 16 Recoveries left: NONE

What's that? He can't hear or feel any sort of failure over the sounds of his being awesome.

No, what Jude was hearing was the sound of Ariane being awesome. So awesome that her awesome was showing everywhere. As the glow on Kintama begun to intensify, she grinned, throwing her arm back before tossing her weapon towards the direction of the portal of the other side of the course, the balls growing larger, hitting a number of shadowlings in its path, until Ariane desummoned and summoned it back in her hand.
She took a moment to look at Jude in a 'HA, beat that!' manner before running down the path that she had cleared, towards the portal.Status Wave: 4 Attack Dmg: 17 Total Shadowlings taken out: 36 Recoveries left: N/A

As if. Yom resonated with power and hunger and thus he dove in and began to swipe through the shadows with a bit of heightened speed that usually accompanied his release of FEAR. Though he caught her glance he simply refused to think that this was possibly over yet.

When Jude appeared through the portal, Ariane grabbed his a** and shoved him back in. Once on the other side, she stood in front of him, banishing her weapon.
