Satori's fury was so great that she didn't even bother to snark back. She rolled through the attack, slashing up earth at the growlithe. Usually she liked to play around before finishing off her prey. Usually. This one had earned a one way ticket to a quick and painful demise.

The cat's fury affected her aim, and Zelda was able to dodge the flying dirt. Pushing off a bench to get a little extra speed, Zelda went crashing back towards the cat.

Satori was rocketed back into the bushes. Thorns sliced her cheek, but she paid it no heed. There was nothing else in her world. Just her, and her prey. She vanished again, appearing behind the growlithe and sending massive bits of earth flying at her target.

Zelda was a bit off balance from her last attack, and was unable to dodge the torrent of earth that swamped her. Growling, she shook out her fur and tried to ignore her tiredness, attacking again.

Satori slid back from the impact, loathing filling her eyes. An orb of darkness formed before her, and she launched it at the growlithe.

Darkness enveloped Zelda, and didn't leave as the attack passed. She slumped to the ground and lay there limply.

Satori limbered over to Zelda, claws extended. I'll kill her, I'll kill her, I'll kill her, I'll kill her, I'll kill her... She stood over the lifeless body of the growlithe and raised her paw.
[Calm down, 'Tori.] Satori's head shot around to see Gangrel hop off the star. {What are you doing here? Aren't you supposed to drop off the data?}
Gangrel nodded. [Already did.] He looked at the growlithe's beaten form. [I don't know what she did to piss you off so much, but just let it go. There's no fun in beating up an unconscious opponent, and Walpurgis would hate to see you stoop that far.]
{He's why I'm doing it! She doesn't know anything! She couldn't understand what you and I have been through, what he's done for us! You understand, don't you?!}
Gangrel closed his eyes slowly. [I do understand. And that's why I know we can't do it. Walpurgis would blame himself, and it would never be able to end well. Let's go home.]
Satori snarled, but she knew he was right. Wordlessly, she vanished. Gangrel sighed to himself as he followed after her.
