A soft, and yet barely noticable murmur erupted from the throat of the cat-king when his oldest friend came to his side, almost immediatly, a subconscious response. "What have you done this time, Broseph?" He murmured to Remi as the weight of the fox demon shifted his body a little towards the fox as he looked down to Arel. It was easy to see that Remi was the king of what he did.
After the statement slipped out, a jostling behind him pushed him off kilter, his hand instinctively reaching out to secure Remi as he used time as a tower, his glance looking behind him, catching sight of the new student that had started the domino effect, his face already softening to the redhead that seemed to have pre-occupied the reaper.
"Jack-B-Nimble is what they call me. Most call me Jack, or JackB." He offered up to the new ghoul softly, giving her a head nod before making sure his bro was safe again. "Stirring a ruckus again? You better watch yourself or you'll end with frostbite." He joked softly before seeing his other beloved fox, waving to Tomoko softly.
"Tomo~, we're in this together, okay?" He sing-songed to her, feeling slightly protective of his kitsune-kin.

"Suit yourself, that's more for me," He continued to grin as he ate another popcorn, "Tell me, what is detention like in this school?" Probably weird like everything else.
"I ssssstill can't believe we got detention..." Depressed snake was depressed.

Somewhat surprisingly.
Very little was conventional at this school though. Shun doubted that it was anything like what was normal at other schools. In other words, they probably won't be sitting around in a room.

TG didn't like demons of the cold persuasion in any shape and form, and Mr. Puddles was making a mess of the hallway AND his afternoon plans. Detention? HIM?! AS IF?!! "Hey, I'm walking here!" He shouted to a few talker students, just as grumpy as the rest of them, but it seemed the secretaries outburst had caused a minor halt in the hallways. "Oh come on, he can't be serious?" Especially someone as pouty as that!

Shun might have said 'that's ridiculous'. But then again, he should know better than to underestimate the happenings of this school. So instead, he just poke faced quietly.

Biskoto wondered if, perhaps, Shun's face was made out of plastic... Seeing how she had never seen his facial expression change - not that it was very obvious due to the way she sees her surroundings. However, just to be sure, she hesitantly reached out with the end of her tail...
... And poked Shun right in his poker face.
Thanatos might had started to laugh. Just a little.

Rolling his eyes both at JackB, and LW, he heaved a sigh. "Why does everyone always assume it was me?" He said rather dramatically, lifting a arm to place the back of his wrist against his forehead, always adding more theatrics. "Would i do anything to piss off our favorite paper pusher?" Giving a grin worthy of a cheshire he soon lowered the arm back to its normal place of by his side. Around that time was when he noticed another familiar face, coming in closer to Arels height than himself. Placing a hand between her ears, he ruffled the hair of the fellow kitsune. "How have things been, Tomo?" He still was warry of the she-tsune. She was from the enemy clans bloodline.. but he seemed to calm down even some, since she kept baking for him. Or shipping stuff someone else baked. Quickest way to a mans heart, yes? Making a 'harumph' sound at Jack, with his free arm he poked the cat-king once. "The partner in crime is never supposed to judge their other half." Clearly jack was just as much of a troublemaker at times as he. Maybe. Nah.

"I'm serious!" Arel sure looked serious, his scarf and cape puffed up, similar to what some owl-like minipets did during hibernation season or maybe when feeling slightly threatened.
A professor passing by took a second to pat the secretary on the head before striding down the hallway whistling innocently.
"That's right you-" He stopped for a second as one of the students interrupted him, -"Detention right -" Pause - "Now is" - "THIS IS IMPO" - "Everyone d-"
The secretary took a second to look desperately at Thanatos and Remi. They were responsible enough right? It clearly said something along the lines of help make them listen to me. And maybe a small pout.

What, the little guy was looking at him? Quirking an eyebrow right back at the secretary the boil couldnt help but snort. Really? The look Arel was giving him was.... kind of pathetic.
Even so, the Kitsune could play nice.

After getting poked in the face, Shun flinched back before narrowing his eyes at the snake, looking a bit annoyed. He was about to ask what the hell that was for, but noticed Arel struggling to get students to listen to him. Granted, he couldn't really blame them. The secretary had just haphazardly tossed out a detention for all of them when they hadn't done anything to warrant it.
Glancing over at the kitsune that called for all their attention, he just stood by with his hands in his pockets. He'd listen. He wanted to know what the hell was going on here anyway.
The temptation to just leave and move on was strong, however.

Where there was a small crowd, one could usually find Alex, though this time at least he was just trying to squeeze by to make his way to another part of the school. Moseying along at his usual painfully slow pace, hands shoved deep within his pockets, he stopped mid shuffle-stride when a somewhat familiar voice rang out with a "DETENTION, ALL OF YOU!" W--What? Detention? Surely the secretary didn't mean everyone in this particular area right now! The zomboil straightened up to his full height to get a better look at what was going on, but it was still hard to see with so many students jostling around. It did appear as though he did in fact mean everyone who was here right now though. The zomboil frowned, not knowing in the slightest what having detention might mean. He knew what it was, or at least, had heard of it before, but he didn't have the slightest clue what it might entail. Having completely stopped now, removing his hands from his pockets so that they hung freely at his sides, he had a quick glance around to see if he at least recognized anybody else. JackB was hard not to notice, and Alex almost made his way over towards him, before he realized that the other boil was already surrounded by a lot of strange faces that the zomboil did not know. They probably wouldn't really appreciate the interruption, though Alex was fairly desperate with curiosity now to know what was going on. Another quick glance showed him that King was not far off, though the white wolf looked just as confused as Alex currently felt. He made his way towards him, anyways, just glad to see a familiar face. "Hey! Uhh...do you have any idea what's going on?" He hissed, eyes flickering once more towards the flustered Arel before settling on King once more.

Unfortunately for Arel, Thanatos was no Lizzy, and his sense of responsibility was as great and evident as Shun's sense of humor - non-existent.
However, for the sake for having entertainment, and a need to have something to watch while finishing his giant bucket of popcorn, he turned to look at Shun, and then at everyone else in the hallway- But the other person already got to it. Still, he held up the popcorn, "Anyone want some popcorn? Also yes, listen to the short and melting guy."
Biskoto wants a pair of hands right now. To facepalm with.

Siobhan skipped down the hallway, her cowlick bobbing up and down with each hop. Her long, long, long hair dragged behind her several feet, drawgging papers and litter that might have gotten in it's way. She was happy for no reason other than to be happy. Yes~ She was at school! She was going to learn things! She was---
GOING TO BE PUT IN DETENTION?!
The banshee stopped, her expression falling so low it looked to be ready to fall off. How could this happen?! She was supposed to be a good ghoul! Was there a no skipping rule she didn't know about? She began to fuss to herself, muttering that perhaps she should have read the student handbook more thoroughly. Wait, was there a student handbook? How could she not know! Oh woe, she WAS a terrible student! She deserved detention! She deserved all of the detentions! To think they had been so generous as to allow her into this establishment only to squander her opportunity like a delinquent fool!
The banshee's lip wibbled, she fidgeted with her long long hair, picking at pieces of trash in it. Oh! Maybe that is why she had detention? Was it her unkempt hair? Oh no! She should have been more attentive of her hygiene situation! But alas, it was too late now. She was doomed to this detention thing.
Hm. Just what did detention entail anyway?
The ghoul got lost in her thoughts as she started to imagine what it might be like.

Well, now that people were kind of listening...
The secretary turned sullen again, casually using Remi as a meat shield in case someone got a little more physically angry. "Well fine, you could avoid detention now with me, which only means you'd have to take it later with Hellma instead...."
