One minutes she was up and the next she was gone. Anga took a deep breath and dipped his head under to get a better look. He watched her swim gracefully through the current. Wow~ it was impressive. The way she ripped through the water made it look easy. Anga definitely would need to practice if he didn't want to starve.
Oh, crap! Anga was so wrapped up in watching Koko, that he completely forgot about the fish! Bubbles escaped his mouth as he frantically tried to dive deeper. He needed to become a massive wall, so the fish couldn't escape. With Koko hot on its tail, the fish was too distracted to realize Anga's black body wasn't a rock. Anga's natural instinct forced his arms to move forward to trap the fish within his reach. Unfortunately, he was a lot slower in the water, so he'd have to rely on his fangs. Fine with him... it's just... he needed the air. Oh, well. He didn't come all this way to fail. So he let all the air escape his mouth and snapped forward.
Anga began to gag and panic. He wasn't sure if he had the fish in his mouth, but he didn't care. Right now, he needed air. He clamped tight, just in case he did have something, and desperately swam to the surface. He broke through and immediately started huffing sweet air through his nostrils. His eyes crossed in an attempt to see if he had the fish in his mouth. He was surprised to see that is was...though... it looked pretty pathetic. In fact, the head was barely hanging on by a few flesh strips. Anga's panic caused him to clamp too tightly down on the fish, successfully making a perfect mouth sized incision. The fish hung limply in his mouth, ready to fall to bits.
