The situation was steadily - and quickly - growing worse and worse, and Yuri was doing absolutely nothing to help it. Guy angrily took another large gulp of his drink, barely even registering the fact that his mug had been refilled. As his inhibitions began to float further and further away with each passing moment, Guy's words gradually became more slurred and his actions more lazy.
"Will you jus' listen to me?! I'm not gay. I told you. I have a real, honest phobia," he exclaimed while gesturing to himself dramatically. He flung out his hands as he spoke. "It's from waaay, waaay long ago. Back when I was a lil' kid. I don't 'member what or how or whatever... But it was bad." His expression grew more stern and solemn.
"It was, like... a sudden thing that happened. My memory 'bout it is too damn foggy to remember right, but I know it was really scary. I don' even know..." Guy took another drink. His voice was growing hoarse from talking so much.

Propping his elbow up on the bar, Yuri rested his chin on his palm as he listened to Guy upon his request. A wide lazy smirk spreading across his face, his eyes half lidded in a rather silly expression.
"Huh," was the only thing he had to say in regards to Guy's phobia, his eyes following the other man's wild gestures.
His smirk then widened and he now spoke with a slight drawl as well. "Ya know, they say that the best way to get over your fears is to face them." He then pointed at Guy. "If you're not gay, then prove it."

Guy pursed his lips into a distrusting frown as he looked sidelong at his friend next to him. He didn't like the sound of where this was going, not at all... But the loss of his inhibitions beat his mind to the punch as he slurred out "What would I hafta do?" as he downed another gulp of his drink. Urgh, he felt a little dizzy...

Uh... good question. Yuri had to think about that for a moment, and with his alcohol clouded mind, it took a bit longer than usual. He drank some more beer and scratched at the back of his head thoughtfully.
"I dunno... go kiss a girl or something."
How -did- one prove that they weren't gay? After all, there were homosexuals who were in the closet and pretended to be straight. Was there really any way to prove it? Oh well. If it would get Guy over his phobia, who cared?

That particular suggestion was definitely not what Guy would have been willing to do, under any circumstance. Guy's already flushed cheeks darkened in color as he grew more flustered. "Noooo thank you, I'll pass. I can't even be physically near women; what makes ya think that I would be able to kiss one?" He took another swig of his drink and sighed, wiping his mouth with the back of his hand. "Seriously."

"You're not exactly helping yourself here," Yuri said with an annoyed side glance and then downed another mouthful of beer. He paused to swim through his muddled thoughts before another idea came to mind.
"All right, then if you're not gay, you had to have loved a girl at some point, right? So tell me about it."
