“It’s not exactly the healthiest thing” Morin replied. “When the emotions come back and they do, they’re more potent than normal” Which was partially why he was a hermit that lived out in the middle of nowhere and gave his best friend crappy directions when Meris wanted to visit him. However they were also a necessary evil. “I suppose they would, they come from my own magical powers. It’s conceivable that someone out there would have the same powers as I do.” He answered. He didn’t particularly like his powers as they ran amok and often hurt people so past the skills he needed to keep them in check he hadn’t really researched it too much. As if noticing someone was watching them the stars rose a bit and twinkled at the female in front of them in almost a teasing fashion. “Morin, my name is Morin Asra.” He finally answered. Manners did dictate that he give his own name back and while he was a hermit, he did have a good set of manners, he chose to act on most of the time.

AislingJuno Morin Asra what a pretty name.” Arcana like the way the name sounded on her lips. Names were important and many noodles didn’t realize just how important. Noodles many times had a birth name and a true name. A true name was a secret name that came from within the soul. A dark magical being with knowledge of a true name could influence the owner of the true name. Arcana shuttered a bit, she was a practitioner of good but she knew not all magical noodles followed light path. Only her friend Lucinda a goofy witch knew Arcana true name. Arcana watched Morin Asra she didn’t sense any evil about him and was entranced by his pretty stars that seemed to have their own sense of humor.
Nasaiki "Mmm I guess it is” Morin answered. He had never really thought about his name much, it was just his name. Since most of the time he was by himself he didn’t really hear it get used a lot. He had been hearing it more recently due to Meris leaving his family. A sort of silence passed between them. It was his turn to carry on the conversation wasn’t it. Conversations were normally like passing the ball back and forth and Arcana had been passing the ball for a while. He tried to think of all the things that had been brought up so far. “so what brings you to this section of the world? Cant be anything too interesting in a forest like this one I would imagine.” Then again he supposed she could be searching for magical herbs or something.
AislingJuno “It’s been a rather nice day not to warm or cold and a nice ocean breeze has come from the west. Sometimes I need a walk to feel refreshed after minding the store and I threw a set of curious runes today that drove me out of the shop. Plus I found that one never knows what one will find in the forest. Sometimes during a walk I find rare flowers, medical herbs, or even pretty flowers. What drove you out of your home on such a fine day?”
Nasaiki He briefly wondered just exactly what those runes told her; probably that she would meet some cranky hermit in the forest. Then again wouldn’t that have told her not to come into the forest? “ I have to say that its nothing as interesting as going out to find new things, I actually live quite close to here and decided I wanted to read using natural light instead of my magic or candlelight” Morin replied with a shrug.

It is a rather nice day to enjoy reading outdoors among the sun and flowers. I often stay in my shop because it is quite comfortable and familiar. My runes foretold that I would meet a new friend so I felt an ease of a connection. Normally I would rather observe others from a comfortable distance but I have been trying to get out of my comfort zone. If I had stayed indoors I wouldn’t have enjoyed the sunshine today, the warm comforting breeze and the strong scent of wild lilacs in the air. In the end I would have never gained a treasured memory if a let my stagnant routines control my life.

He never really saw the thing about reading among flowers. They often aggravated his allergies and gave him headaches if there were too many around him. Which always made sealing his powers a bit harder. However he did have to give Arcana credit. He didn’t think he would have listened to the runes, or gotten out of his comfort zone. Then again here he was trying to continue a conversation with someone that wasn’t Meris. However it was a nice day and he might have gone out anyways if he had known. He had always like wind even if his powers had nothing to do with the weather. Ah there it was she could still create treasured memories. “Getting out of one’s comfort zone can be hard, however I’m glad that you could create that treasured memory or experience the day at least. I’m not entirely sure those runes where right just yet.”

Arcana-Part of my magic runs in reading runes which seems to be a particular talent. Even if I don’t fully understand a reading I will when the time comes. Though I can understand how another noodle could be skeptical of their power. But think of all the wonderful magical and non magical gifts noodles have. Demons, alien, cyber, ocean noodles are to be found in our land and many unique magical items are owned by mysterious noodles like your stars. “ Arcana said shyly but with great convection in her words. “Isn’t it marvelous that we are all so different?”

“I guess I could have been a bit less sarcastic in my comment, I don’t doubt the power of runes. It is a pretty legitimate magic, however I suppose I should say I doubt their sense of humor” Morin finally decided on saying. “Out of all the noodles in the world to send you to meet, they directed you towards a rather unfriendly hermit,” As plainly evident by their first few minutes of meeting. On the second half of her statement towards him he wasn’t so sure about the whole different thing. While it was nice that noodles weren’t so cookie cutter and he supposed he was glad some had different gifts, he had always found his birth magic annoying and a curse. He wondered if Arcana had ever really been hurt by another because of differences. “I suppose, although sometimes I think it’s better if we weren’t so different.”

Arcana-“Noodles often don’t say what is really on their mind and give social flatteries that are not always true. We put up masks of social convention to follow set rules of good behavior but I do admire an honest soul. Yet some social guidelines are in place and if you were always honest you could hurt other feelings. I admire those who are strong in the gifts I like but at the same time can be a bit jealous of their achievements. “
Arcana concentrated a soft pink ball came into her being. She rolled in between her paws as she spoke and tried letting her nervousness fall away. She was trying her hardest to speak to this male but he was rather intimidating.

That was definitely the statement of the century. He wondered if everyone had just said what was on their mind, if he would have been betrayed or his magic going out of control and hurting Meris. “Perhaps one should follow some social guidelines, however I just got tire of a lot of them, and it’s a lot easier not to worry about hurting anyone when you live by yourself. Don’t know if I’ve ever been jealous of others achievements. I think it’s fine that if they got there using their own skills then they deserve their praise. However I do despise some on how they use their powers I suppose.’ He watched her movements as she played with a pink little ball; he noticed that his stars rolled off to try to play with the ball as well. While the stars where normally emotions he no longer wanted to feel they had somewhere along the line gained their own sense of being as well. He looked up towards Arcana and wondered if he made her uncomfortable in any way. He knew how he could come across which was why normally he stayed away from others.
