Just when she was pretty sure that the alpaca was about to be caught, the student had even managed to grab hold and try to keep its head still so that she could slip the rope on - the beast seemed to get a sudden last minute spurt of energy and started to struggle erratically causing her efforts to miss and get slammed with the waving head instead.
"Hold it tighter!" She barked at the student impatiently.

"I'm trying!" Zurine told the clanswomen, gritting her teeth and grabing the alpaca's ear to stop it from flinging its head around so much. "Alright I think I got it!" She stated in determination - and ignoring the sudden pain when the alpaca stomped on her foot "Just..hurry...up!"

"I think your definition of 'got it' and my definition of 'got it' seem to be a bit different" Molpadia told the student dryly as she tried to put the rope around the alpaca's neck only to have to tank itself out of the students grasp and evade her. On the plus side at least it seemed like it was to tired to actually put up much of a fight now..it was just a matter of getting it to stand still long enough for them to put the rope over it's head.

"Well give me the rope, let me try" Zurine told Molpadia with a furrowed brow - not that she had ever actually tried to rope something before but what was the worst that could happen? She'd miss, just like the clans women seemed to keep doing.
Sure enough her thrown rope was rather pathetic and missed the alpaca completely ..oh well, gathering the rope she handed it back to Molpadia.

Just as she expected the student missed - but she couldn't really say anything considering her first attempt so she just silently accepted the rope and tried to catch the damnable alpaca one more time - she got closer this time but still not close enough. "Blasted beast" She cursed the alpaca while she gathered up the rope to try again.

Of course her next try was worst then the first one by miles and she alpaca almost seemed to be gloating with the way it was panting - maybe she was imagining that but no the beast looked like it was laughing at her with those beady little eyes it had.

Frustrated Molpadia ignored the student's outstretched hand and coiled the rope again - this time it sailed true and she let out a whoop of joy as it fell over the Alpaca's head and she pulled it snug "Gotcha!" She gloated at the ornery beast before turning to drag it back to the pen on the reserve. She had gone a few steps before recalling the two students that had helped her - they had wound up almost and perhaps more bruised then she had and if nothing else she owed them a thank you.
"Thanks..for the help" She told the two student's before jerking on the rope and dragging the stubborn beast back to its pen.

Willow had either somehow gotten distracted, or something. Her brows furrowed as she watched the horsemen drag the Alpaca off. Nodding, her ears twitched as she watched.
"I wonder how many more there are."JetAlmeara Oh god I'm so sorry I didn't see you tag the other day. crying I would've tagged back sooner if I'd known!
