Attacking: KazueAlessa let the Freak drop and walked slowly towards the Jackal, smiling in such a way that the expression on her face managed not to be a smile at all and instead was something much more terrifying.
"You should pick your battles more carefully." She said, her tone almost conversational. She was stating a fact. The Jackal had made a very, very grave mistake, and she was going to pay for it. Suddenly, with unnatural speed, Alessa spun and kicked at Kazue's midsection.

Attacking: AlessaA part of Kazue's mind was insisting she should run, she was very, very outclassed. She knew it. The evil fae before her had walked right through Himiko's barrier, as if it was nothing, and even with all the damage done to her already she was barely fazed. But the Jackal was not one to ever give up on a fight, and besides, she had to stay with her mother.
Because she knew there was no way she was going to get away while trying ot carry her mother, and she wouldn't leave the Miko Freak behind.
So instead, after taking a brutal kick, she darted forward, once again biting and clawing at Alessa, trying to at least do as much damage on the way down as she could.Kazue HP: 9

Attacking: KazueAlessa let out a little irate snort, reaching out and catching Kazue's wrist. She squeezed, enough to be painful but not enough to do any real damage.
"Standing in the face of difficult odds. I can respect that." Alessa admitted. "You must realize how utterly outclassed you are at this point. After all, she...your mother, yes? She was much stronger, and you saw what happened to her. Unfortunate, really. I don't usually like getting physical. But she did attack me first." Alessa shrugged. "I bear you no ill will, little one. Yu should run while you can."

Kazue hissed and tried to pull away, but it was no use. "I won't leave her," she snarled, clawing at Alessa's hand with her own free one, but it simply wasn't doing any serious damage.

Attacking: KazueAlessa kept her hold on the girl's wrist, squeezing a little tighter as if to remind her that she wouldn't tolerate this foolish struggling.
"And you think I'd stop you from hauling her off as well? Child, I am old, but I'm not heartless." Well, alright, she mostly was, but really, she'd taken out the Freak with ease and at this point, letting them go was probably on the agenda regardless. "Ther is no point in me keeping you here, unless you continue to fiht, at which point I will simply have to put you down."

The other fae could say whatever she wanted, it didn't mean Kazue was going to believe her. "So you say, but how do I know it isn't a trick?" she snarled. And then she swiped again, still trying to free her wrist. This time she dug her claws into Alessa's arm in an attempt to loosen her grip.

VICTORYWell, that was it. If the pathetic mortal was going to insist on fighting her, on clawing at her and drawing blood, Alessa was just going to have to fulfill her promise. She growled and physically tossed the Jackal away, snapping out a kick to finish her. The Elder turned to walk away.
"If you're even still conscious, feel free to take your mother and go, whelp. And do try to be more careful about who you assault in the future."

Defeat
Kazue lay panting on the ground, barely conscious. She tried to growl at the departing form of the other fae, but she simply didn't have the energy, what with trying to keep from blacking out. After what felt like an interminable amount of time, she was finally able to pull herself to her feet, although the stabbing pain in her chest warned that she quite possibly had a broken rib. She managed to drag herself over to where Himiko lay, just as the Freak began to stir as well. She sat guarding her mother until the Freak was able to stand, and then they both withdrew to find somewhere to rest.
Perhaps, Kazue thought to herself as they left, her mother was right, and Faetasia did need them out and doing what they could to fight creatures such as that.
