Dea turned her attention to Aila as she walked over to them and she smiled softly.
"Hello to you too, I am Deanna Drake, the wife of Alddrion Drake. It is nice to see more people starting to gather here. I was starting to think it would just be my family,"Dea smiled.
Serenity turned when two more Azrein joined them and she gave a small whinny in reply.
"I am Serenity and the guy with the green hair is Sterling. The two of us are the Azrein of Deanna over there. It is nice to meet the two of you,"Serenity greeted.

Aila smiled at the woman who greeted her. "I am Aila Amarose Darkfeather. Wife of known. Chosen to Jondayla and Daria, the one with wings over there. I am from a small cottage not far from here." She offered, her warm amber eyes glowing with friendship. "I decided to spend a little time with Daria, and her guard-dog of a son, Damir, decided to join along." She chuckled. Whether or not Damir was her bond, she still loved the little foal. In fact, she had helped raise him. There was no way she couldn't love the little pest.
"The pleasure is mine, Serenity, Sterling. You seem to have a lovely Chosen. My Chosen is the brown haired girl over there next to yours. Damir-" Damir cut Daria off, and Daria flexed her wings in agitation as she cut her eyes over to her son, reprimanding him with a look.
"I have no Chosen at the moment. I have yet to find the right person." He stated simply. "Might I inquire as to, where you are from, sweet Serenity?" He asked, turning on the charm.

"Greetings Daria, Damir, I am Freezia, but you may call me Free if you like." She'd never met a mother and son together before. It made her miss her own mother, to see him standing next to his. She found herself admiring the markings along his neck, back and flanks. The coloring in his mane was somewhat similar to hers, and she wondered who his father might have been. When he declared he had no Chosen, her hopes flared a little. His mother on the other hand was simply gorgeous as far as Free was concerned, and she couldn't stop staring at her. Her wings were so small that she wondered if she were able to fly or not.
"And I am Rhia. It is a pleasure to make your acquaintance. May I say, your bonded are beautiful. Have you been together long?" asked Rhia. She wondered why the mares wings were so small, and if it was a birth defect. But she was most definitely a beauty to behold. She could see that Free was enjoying all the new Azrein that had arrived. She felt sad for her bonded, for they were always on the road, and rarely did they come across other Azrein that she could stop and spend time with. This was a welcome treat for the both of them.

She got the the group to find more than she had expected. Ah, this was like the gatherings she'd attend when she was younger. Weird how she would always be pampered by her chosen. She barely even had a say in her life back then, because it was already planned out for her.
"He..hello." she whispered. The swirled markings on the two who came together gave her curiosity. Never had she seen those since her foalhood. "I'm Savina."

Free walked up to the mare and introduced herself. "Hello Savina, I am Freezia. It's so nice to see so many of us gathered here in one place. I do hope you will stay and spend some time with us. It looks like my Chosen is planning to sing for everyone today." Free had seen Rhia speaking with the other humans, and now she was tuning her lute; something she only did if she was planning on using it. It had been days since she had heard her Chosen sing, and she looked forward to it.
As she waited for Aila to answer her question, she pulled her lute around from behind her back, and softly began plucking each string, making sure that it was in tune. After her brief conversation with Deanna, she thought she would sing the song that related to what they had been discussing. But she would wait until everyone had settled and were relaxed. Now was not the time for song.

She cocked her head. Music? "Wh..what's music Freezia?" she asked confused. Nodding, she looked around. "Yes... even my own chosen probably hasn't seen this much azrein!"

Free blinked her eyes in astonishment. Savina didn't know what music was? But she stopped herself, because she realized that she herself had never heard music until the first time Rhia had sung to her. She'd been lying in the dirt, bleeding from the attack of an Azrein who served the Six. He'd killed both of her parents, and thought he had killed her too, but she had held on long enough to be found by Rhia. She could still hear the sound of her voice as she sang her to sleep with something called a lullaby.
"Music?" she said, "It's something that humans do with their voice. It's not simply speaking. There is a strange, soothing quality to the tone of their voice when they sing. I think you will find it very likable Savina."

Daria smiled at the mare, noticing the stares, but politely not saying anything. She was used to that kind of a attention and it barely rattled her anymore. Her double tails twished. "It's a pleasure to meet you both, Freezia, Savina." Her ears picked up at the sound of a lute being tuned and her eyes lit up with delight. "Music sounds lovely. That's your chosen over there?" She asked the strange goat-like azrein.
Damir smiled charmingly at Freezia, his eyes lighting up as he noted the lilt and melody of her voice. "I take it that that female over there with the lute is your Chosen?" He asked Freezia. He then turned to Savina, the purplish azrein and gave her a polite smile. "Simply put, music is like feelings, but put to the sound of a bird, except its not the chirps of a bird...." He went crosseyed as he tried to figure out a way to explain the concept of music to Savina.
Aila smiled as the woman pulled out a lute. "I've been with Jonda for several years, and Daria has lived on my land and associated with me for a year or so, but she just Chose me a couple weeks ago. Thus why we are out today. I figured it'd be nice to get away from all the foals at my lands and spend time with Daria. Damir decided to join along as you can see." Aila gave a musical laugh, her amber eyes sparkling with glee. She watched Rhia for awhile with her lute before decided to speak again. "So where did you learn to play?" She asked.

"Yasriel, what... what are we doing?" a whispered song from someplace not too far away from the gathered Azrein and their chosen, followed by a nervous whinny, which was also almost lyrical. There was an uneven sound of hooves, like the Azrein owning them wasn't quite used to walking just yet, even though a full grown mare, with long, beautifully golden locks and odd, almost hook-like yellow marking on her dappled black and gold coat. Atop her bare back was her Chosen, a slender male with long, pure white hair and golden eyes, lightly tanned skin, and fine cotton clothes, his shirt dyed a deep crimson, his cloak black, with markings that matched the ones on her eyes, and black pants made out of slightly heavier fabric. "Hush, Sylwanin, and relax. I heard some music over this way, and thought maybe you'd like to meet some other humans, maybe some Azrein..." the male replied, leaning forward and lovingly stroking her neck, his resonant baritone voice soothing and pleasant on the mare's ears. He lifted his hand as he spotted a winged mare with what seemed like two tails, and a few other Azrein, including a rather oddly... fluffy one with odd horns. "Hail, and hello, there! Have room for a couple more in this gathering?" he called, grinning widely.

"I was taught by my father from the time I was old enough to hold an instrument, and carry a tune," she said in response to Aila's question. She glanced up at the sound of a male's voice, and saw a handsome man, riding a striking Azrein into the meadow. If she wasn't already married to Zander, this young one might have just caught her fancy.
"Yes," replied Free to Daria and Damir's joint question, "She is indeed my Chosen, and I am very proud to call her that." It was then she heard the sound of a man's voice and looked up to see yet another Azrein entering the meadow. This one was also unlike any she had ever seen before. It reminded her of a dark night, with the stars all aglow in the heavens.

She shuffled her legs. "Yes, I hope that I will like this umm.. music Freezia." she said confidently. It was a while since she had been around others, especially with the fact that even more were coming!
Confused at the stallion's words, Savina tried picturing a bird making sounds but not chirping. What an odd noise that would sound like, but then again, she did not see much of this world of hers yet. She simply nodded a thanks to Damir, not really knowing what to say.
"He..hello." she said to the sparking azrein with the human on her. "Umm.. is it comfortable being ridden?" Her gaze was staring at the couple, waiting for an answer. "Oh yeah. I'm Savina."

Gentle footfalls fell on the grass as a white mare strode along the field, her red hair flashing in the sun like blood as it rolled behind her. Silver eyes glanced across the area noticing the large group of azrein. She almost slowed if it weren't for the humanoid form on her back. "Athari...I see others." There was a moment of silence before the being on her back gave a grunt of a chuckle. "Then we shall greet them, no?" The voice was sure and gentle patting the mare on the neck gently. Athari sat on Nailiah unlike most riders: her knees were folded as she sat slightly cross-legged before she used her hands to push herself up onto her toes, her arms around the mare's neck. "Signal your partner." Nailiah gave a nod and for a moment her eyes were distant as she communicated with another. Not soon after there was a form in the air quickly approaching ground. The figure was like a bullet diving fast before outstretching his wings and legs to catch his body. He banked to the right getting a better view of the ground below him as he landed not too far ahead of Nailiah and Athari. Alistair gave a grunt, blue eyes looking from one form to another as if scrutinizing every last one of them. Athari sensed his distress and the two females quickly sent calming waves of emotion to the male. Alistair picked up on it well enough and waited for them to catch up before he too strolled into the group. Athari flipped off her mount as Nailiah kept walking. The Amazon prided herself on agility and balance as she strode over to the group of humans with a confidence. The girl had a chocolate skin tone to her. She was dressed with a tan hide wrapped around her breasts leaving most of her torso bare. Her hips were adorned with a tan hide loincloth that ended just at her knees on both ends as it was also wrapped for the sake of decency if nothing else. Athari's dark brown hair was tied to keep from her face, the tail ending just at her lower back. Around her left thigh was a sheath for her dagger that she kept on her person always and on her back was her bow and a quiver of arrows. She also had a pouch on her right side attached to her body with a belt made out of animal hide that was probably filled with money, plants, and other such things. The Amazon refused to come unprepared. "Hail!" She called to the others raising her hand an giving a wide wave. When she got closer, she stopped placing a fisted hand on her hip, green eyes shining playfully. "I saw everyone gathering so I figured I'd stop by. I am Athari, Amazon Warrior and Tradeswoman. The white mare with red hair is Nailiah and the brown winged stallion with her is Alistair. They are my bonded." She flashed a smile. "Pleasure to meet you all. And a wonderful tune you carry there." Athari said turning to the female with the instrument. "Ahh music. Doesn't it lighten the mood?" She hummed and began to sway to the melody before setting her body at a calm and ease. Nailiah continued to send soothing thoughts to her partner and herd mate as they approached the other azrein. They were both grateful for the music for it did help them to get better acquainted with the others as well as calm Alistair's worries and her nervousness. She had never met any of them and well..it was time for her and Alistair to mingle with other bonded. "Hello everyone. I hope we aren't really interrupting anything." Nailiah flashed a smile as she gave a bow stopping a foot or two away. "I am Nailiah, bonded to Athari the Dark One and partner to this fine gentleman at my side." Her head tilted over toward the darker skinned human female of the group then turned to the male. Alistair gave a grunt as he introduced himself. "And I am Alistair McArtur Lucian of House Lucian. I am Nailiah's partner and bonded to Athari as well. It is a pleasure to make everyone's acquaintance." The stallion bowed and together both of their heads rose in unison, the mare giving a pleasant and kind smile while Alitair kept his stoic exterior making sure to guard not only the mare his human bonded as well. His job was never done. "It's a pleasure and a honor to meet you all. I haven't met other bonded such as Alistair and myself. It's a refreshing feeling." She gave a laugh flicking her ears forward to show her pleasure.

[Dark: FYI Rhia has not started playing a tune. She is simply tuning her lute. lol]
Rhia greeted the dark skinned woman in return, introducing herself. She placed her lute down beside her and offered her hand in friendship. She had not had occasion to meet one of the Amazon tribes until now, and she found herself studying the woman, with the hopes that perhaps a new song would present itself. "Yes Athari, music does lighten the mood, and once everyone has settled, I have a special song I will sing for everyone."
Freezia recognized these two newcomers from a previous encounter with them in another meadow. "Greetings once again Nailiah and Alistair. It is so good to see a familiar face among so many new ones. I hope the time since our last meeting has seen you both well?"

[[Oooh Okay. I just back read the last few posts and thought she was playing music >.< Thank you!]]
The girl's handshake was strong which made Athari give a mental nod in approval. "A special song, eh? I'd love to hear." The female plopped herself down quite quickly folding her legs underneath her body, back slightly hunched and elbows resting on her bent knees. Her eyes were lively as she took in the others.
Nailiah's eyes immediately lit up noticing the capra female. "Free! Oh it's really good to see you. Yes life has been treating me very well. What of you, my friend?" She snorted a little giving a nod and another smile as Alistair gave a bow of greeting. "Mistress Freezia, a pleasure once again. I have been well, thank you for asking." His tail flicked behind him as he returned to his stoic, guarding demeanor.

Rhia smiled at the woman's excited manner, and the way she sat herself down on the ground. Perhaps she would save her new song for later, and satisfy Athari's desire for song with an older tune. She was glad that the bonded pair remembered her, and she held her head a little higher. "I have also been well," she replied. "My Chosen is once again sequestered with her mate, so I am on my own, looking for new and old friends to spend time with. I am so happy that you happened upon the meadow, and decided to join us. I don't believe I had the pleasure of meeting your Chosen the last time we met. She seems different from most human females I have seen.""Well Athari, I suppose I could sing a song now, and save my new one for after we have all eaten," and taking her lute in both hands, began playing and singing... Winter comes and winter goes And no one really ever knows How the time has come to pass Oh so very, very fast
Spring is right around the bend Waiting for the birds to send Forth their song of joyous cheer Saying summer’s drawing near
Flowers bloom in fields of green As creatures scamper in between Trees of oak and ash and elm In their quite, forest realm
Soon enough the days turn warm As summer reaches forth her arm Children’s cries ring through the air As lover’s stroll about the fair
Fireworks boom out in the night Lighting up the skies so bright Voices cheer and ooh and aah At the visions that they saw
Trees begin to lose their leaves No more the sound of buzzing bees Fall has come and soon behind Winter and his white design
All the seasons come and go Time flies by before you know So live each day as best you can And leave this life as you began Free's ears pricked up as she heard Rhia begin to sing. "Listen!", she said to the Azrein around her, "My Chosen has started to sing." Free decided to leave the group and walk over to the group of humans, so she could better listen to Rhia's song. #05B8CC
