I started learning about Islam 2 or 3 months ago. I'm reading the English translation of the Qur'an now. I really think I'll revert to Islam. But I'm only 14. Is that too soon to decide if I want to revert?

Masha'allah heart

smile I have a few questions though.
1. Can I say the prayers in English while I learn the Arabic?
2. I don't have any clothes that would be appopriate for praying. I can get a headscarf but I don't have a loose dress thing that I can wear. Any idea what I should do?

of course i will do my best to answer

1. Thats what i did at first but i was told it was wrong. What i ended up doing was i would just pray what i had learned so far. And i memorized the arabic but i don't know what all of the words mean any more, though i do have an idea.
2. I already wore just loose sweatshirts and loose soft pants, but what you can do is just buy one outfit that would be ok for praying, and then just wear it when you pray and take it off when your not until you can buy more clothing like that because i believe you should always wear those loose clothing and a headscarf when you are ready.

I only wear a headscarf or cover my hair when i pray for now but i hope by the start of ramadan i will be ready to wear it full time.

Oh and if anyone else notices i have wrong information please correct me.

yep smile The arabic isn't that hard once you get started but it helps so much to watch the videos that show people praying smile and find a good source of the words in arabic and english. May Allah make it easy for you biggrin

They don't know yet. sweatdrop I plan on telling them on the weekend. It's the best time to let them know when they're both at home and not so busy.
