The fog seemed to be clearing out. He couldn't be sure if it was his imagination or not, but it certainly seemed a whole ******** ton thinner.

He smirked to himself. Fine. One more.
He could see the exit portal just up ahead of them, the last wispy remnants of the fog lingering around the bottom of it. As he got nearer it coalesced into a creature which let out a cry of fury and charged toward him.
He looked completely unphased.

And then there was nothing. It was clear. There was no more fog, at least not in here.
He was almost disappointed. Disappointed and yet over the ******** moon.
He felt useful.
"All done BARK BARK" he said to no-one, his words echoing in the long hallway, even long after he exited the portal.
