For some reason, I can't seem to enjoy Second Life any more. gonk The whole idea of it was great at first, but it quickly went down hill, for me.

For some reason, I can't seem to enjoy Second Life any more. gonk The whole idea of it was great at first, but it quickly went down hill, for me.
...Together since August 29, 2006. I've been there for close to 5 years now and I've stayed on there because of friends I made and rocking out at the clubs on there as a dj broadcasting to start. if you can't find the right people on there, yea, it will be tough to get into it

...Together since August 29, 2006. ahhhh that can be a major hang up since it takes about a month to get a feel of it. now they have "premade avatar looks" to help new people start out so you didn't have to dump in 100 bucks in Lindens to get started which I'll whole heartedly agree is a huge hangup when you start out. I got lucky that I had a friend help me out with my look when I started.

My religious studies teacher showed us some churches that meet there and have actual services and stuff in Second Life. Like, wut? Really? lol

yup. there are a number of organizations and Universities that offer college courses on there along with lectures from famous politicians and some real life bands perform on there live. I've always said that SL is a place where your dreams and imaginations can come true by your own hands if you know how. As for me, I barely know maybe 2% of what you can do there even after all this time. xd
