"Call in some help!" Syd said, moving in front of the other female to provide a guard. She had chosen right in picking to act as a moon--she hoped. And most of the cloud went right past her, after the pretty one--she glared at the fog monster, and her rp'er would like to mention--she did it better than Sasha did.

"Not yet, I got this frickin' thing, okay?!" Sasha didn't really have it. She ... she had a piece of it though, and when Nona's hooks tore through the ephemeral fog that writhed around the monster, Sasha made a pleased noise. That pleased noise didn't last long; the monster lashed out at her again. Thanks to Syd's defense, it didn't hurt as much, but there was little doubt that a bruise would be left behind. "Ok, fine, but do that again, only harder," Syd said, moving to block a bit better. She could see it move and managed to stop it this time. But she wasn't going to lie--she wished Wash was there. He was a much better Moon than she was, she was positive.

She almost felt like she could cry as she tamped down the irritation and slight self-loathing she was currently feeling. Sasha dialed Jerry's number. "Why do people frickin' text when there's an emergency. Isn't it easier to just dial a frickin' number so you can frickin' talk to someone when you have a dang emergency?!"

It was about this time that Syd decided she would NEVER transfer to Moon. That might have been because she swore the monster had just groped her.

Syd did NOT laugh. She really didn't. But if there was a bit of a roll of her eyes (mostly because Izy was roaring with laughter) it didn't matter, because she had her back to the other female anyway.
Izy hooted.
You, my partner, are a pervert, and I would rather NOT think anything OTHER than his bazooka, she pointed out to her weapon. In fact, I've seen his bazooka, so it isn't even much of a joke.

"I'm C-coming! I'm coming!" Jerry was panting, limping as quickly he could as the cannon fire blasted over everyone's heads- including the monster's as his leg brace froze up and the man was sent tumbling.
The important thing was, reinforcements had arrived.
